Music
Ellington Indigos. It's very stylish. Bigbands are so much better without a crooner front man.

Lets play?
Ah, you must be a youngin' HoMM is not M&M, just a spin-off with a different genre. I am basically of the opinion that anything pre Amiga, and by that I mean DOS graphics, is a waste of time. Why do people torture their eyes like that. I'm not a graphics whore or anything but if you are going to play something more advanced than Pong or Space Invaders you need a certain minimum level.

What you did today
Shouldn't feed wild animals you know. They are only going to get into trouble if they learn to think of human houses as food sources.

Poll suggests 1 in 5 Americans cannot make simple factual assessments
What's the alternative. Let banks go bust and bring about a crisis ?, or MORE legislation making them less competitive by increasing the amount they have to hold in reserve. Banks aren't reliable corner stones in the economy anymore as much as dancing on a knife's edge to maximise profits. They were the bloody idiots who ran up all the bad debt. Well, bank sub contractors specialising in the housing market really.

I don't even know what wizardry is. HoMM is just un-captivating. The ultra simple 'stack armies and go conquer' game Warlords is far superior. Altthough where one would find a copy... I voted Temple of Elemental Evil. It's a terrible game, but the rule implementation and the turn based aspect is rather good.

Fallout: New Vegas
I like the idea of finding a real topographical map instead of the pipboy all the time. Hell even the FO2 map was easier on the eyes.

Fallout: New Vegas
All things being equal, Bethesda has the luxury of postponing their releases until they feel ready. It's not so much a matter of good project management as having those extra resources or not. A flagship title is not the same as an outsourced sequel.

Bush did much to ruin international cooperation by pretending to want to 'play by the rules' and then just doing what he wanted when it didn't pan out the way he hoped. The allegory with the Roman empire... no that doesn't really work now does it. The Romans didn't need to be diplomats, they invaded to spread their culture and influence. Bush would have been an excellent Caesar, not bad one.

Fallout: New Vegas
You got grim reapers sprint which let you use VATs again immediately if you killed your target(s). Meaning there was no theoretical limits to how many enemies you could kill in succession. Stupidly over powered, but I suppose that was how the lv 20 perks were meant to be.

Wikileaks founder framed for rape?
In which case the man is a buffoon and it serves him right, given what he has gone and done. People braver than he'll ever be are probably being hunted down and tortured as we speak because of his actions, so tough. So we judge a man's character by his ability to refuse advances by secret agent hussies. I would fail miserably I fear.

Wikileaks founder framed for rape?
Why are we assuming this is a set up. I mean, yes, it seems convenient, but do we know what happened.

Fallout: New Vegas
I know Vegas was supposed to have been relatively untouched by the nukes, but I have to agree that the strip looks a whole lot more bland without potholes with grass springing out of them, a thick layer of rubbish and rats scurrying around. The strip is too clean.

Mind control fungus turns ants into zombies
There is a slug, or rather a fungi which lives on the slug whose reproductive cycle involves altering the slug's behaviour causing it to seek high ground and making its feelers bright red, attracting it to predation by birds who spread the fungi through their droppings. Same strategy as a fruit tree minus the suicidal zombie slug bit that is.

Apparently I'm colour blind as well cause I can't make out any number in this. All I see is red-bluish snot on a pink background.- The funny things thread
So what colour is it. According to wikipedia and dependant on your type you should have around a 50 % chance of guessing right.- Warhammer 40k: Space Marines
Someone should start up a petition to get Relic to stop making Warhammer games and make Homeworld games instead. I'd happily sign that.- In Australia, the n-word is no longer a criminal offense.
When people say things like 'free speech is not a licence to slander', or that free speech has to be used 'responsibly' I think they are missing the point. Surely that's exactly what it is. You take the good with the bad and let people say what's on their minds, offensive, crazy, whatever, but most of all free speech.- In Australia, the n-word is no longer a criminal offense.
Really, you will get a hefty fine here if you badmouth a policeman. I agree with that actually, if they don't enforce a certain air of authority about their persons the weekend crowd would eat them alive.- In Australia, the n-word is no longer a criminal offense.
I've said it before, but I much prefer if language and so called 'hate-speak' is not illegal. This way everyone has a handy way of telling the doushebags from the non dousheags. What's in a word anyway. The courts can't decide if one word carries racist attitudes because they don't also decide how it's used. - The funny things thread
