Welcome newbie. Today I beat the windows chess thingie on level 6, which almost qualifies as an achievement. I was hampered by not being able to unnerve my opponent which is usually how I beat my siblings. Now for six hours of work- drudgery.

I'm sure the game makers would rather get paid twice than once but that's neither here nor there. Does a TV maker have any control of who his flat screen get's re-sold to, does he expect to get paid again. I don't care that a game cost almost nothing to duplicate once it's finished. The game producers might get an enormous bulge in the gentleman's region over earning potential only to be depressed by reality, but they are hardly alone there. I don't even know what wizardry is. HoMM is just un-captivating. The ultra simple 'stack armies and go conquer' game Warlords is far superior. Altthough where one would find a copy... I voted Temple of Elemental Evil. It's a terrible game, but the rule implementation and the turn based aspect is rather good.

I like the idea of finding a real topographical map instead of the pipboy all the time. Hell even the FO2 map was easier on the eyes.

All things being equal, Bethesda has the luxury of postponing their releases until they feel ready. It's not so much a matter of good project management as having those extra resources or not. A flagship title is not the same as an outsourced sequel.
