Hacked Nude Photos: Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Yvonne Strahovski, etc.
Purely for research purposes of course I have viewed the whatsherface from Hunger Games pics. They are just slightly risque' selfies and pretty flattering. They are private of course and it is in principle all kinds of wrong. Lesson, don't put anything in the cloud you don't want in the public. Especially if you are famous, it makes you a target.

By consider, you really mean "just agree with them", don't you ? While hacking is wrong, it somewhat trivializes people who are the victims of sexual abuse to compare this to it. Ya think ?

Dragon Age: Inquisition vs. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
I dunno if the 'not enough time' argument holds true. How many years did those games take to complete and how many more before something comperable comes along. There is enough time. Initially there would be competition i suppose, but DA looks like the underdog at least as far as graphics and quality of production goes.

Just moved to Denmark. Now what?
The hibernation thing is true. It just gets too cold and dark to go anywhere.

Just moved to Denmark. Now what?
Move out of the sticks. Sorry, that's just the usual greeting from someone living in Copenhagen.

Wait, vacuum cleaners?
Ahh yes, another one of those juicy stories where we can all laugh derisively at the maliciousness and/or ineptitude of a giant bureaucracy. Funny how there are no stories, ever, about how something worked for the benifit of serveral invested parties. I guess there is just not enough demand for those. I too shiver at the thought of a world with a paltry 900 watts of vacuming power. I don't know how I can possibly go on after 2017.

The state of Feminism, the good the bad
I feel the need to add that although these are real people who use some really grown up words, this is still not something we are allowed to do here. That includes reposting tweets and whatnot.

I'll just say that I think it fundamentally dishonest to make a living being a feminist. Making money off your beliefs. I mean that's what politicians do.

Thai coup endorsed by King
Well the protesters last time around were very much trying to overthrow the government. Maybe revolutionaries everywhere have been energized by the success of Maidan. I must admit I'm not sure if the position of the thai army, as in taking power every time the political situation is reaching boiling point, is a good thing or a bad thing long term. It might actually be preventing changes that will move the country forward long term.

This story really has everything. Even Phil 'it's lonely at the top' Fish. It's kinda funny watching dev nerds go at it like Paris Hilton.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [2014]
My thinking is that writing for CRPGs is usually so rubbish that it doesn't really matter that the PC is a 'blank slate' rather than someone with a past that the player is aware of.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [2014]
I dunno, I'm mostly annoyed that he has two swords with two different build trees that are mostly idientical. Steel is more crowd control at higher levels but it's irrelevant since there is no choice in what to use, it's decided by what you are facing. One tree with more choices for both swords, or just one sword - cannon be damned. The voice acting is pretty good. Not bothered by being Geralt although I always prefer being able to create my own protagonist.

Police arrest, attack reporters; order reporters NOT to cover protest. IN UNITED STATES.
Classes aren't supposed to exist in the US, but when 'the blacks' riot it's hard not to see it in those terms, that among other things the cops exist to protect the privileged from the disenfranchised. Guess what movie I just saw.

Post Your Mobile Devices!
Trying to get one for my mother but I have no idea what's good. Battery life is important. She would use it for digital camera stuff, web and reading.

Julian Assange, to hand himself over?
Clearly he thought the charges were part of a conspiracy against him, and given the active interest from a whole lot of intelligence agencies that he is likely to have recieved who could blame him. It's like that saying 'It's not paranoia if they are really after you'. Did he do this to himself or was he successfully sidetracked and discredited through other agency. I'm pretty confident in the quality and impartiality of the Swedish courts. He will get a fair shake there.

Ohh come on, what does it matter if it was in Israel. They had to learn crowd control somewhere.

I think there probably still is some remaining institutionalized racism in the US and that is what triggers protests. It's unfortunate that it always seems to center around individual cases which might after all be indicative of nothing. It's all pretty fishy though. Smells like cops covering eachother.
