If I just had coffe and cigarettes I would be alright stranded on an island. I would probably starve to death not having any survivalist skills, but I would be alright.

European Parliamentary Elections results, major concern?
Gorgon replied to BruceVC's topic in Way Off-Topic
You right they omitted the DPP for some reason but what does the DPP stand for politically ? I can google it but I prefer to get the view of people who live in Denmark Immigration = bad. EU = bad. Muslims in general = bad. Danish values = good, although no one seems to know exactly what those are. -

There's nothing about DPP on that page, or I'm blind. -

Gorgon do you feel guilty that most of the international news channels are positioning Denmark as being one of the EU countries where the far right has gained immense popularity? Do you think you personally could have done more to counter this rise of the right in your country? The international News don't know what they are talking about, but it's hard to blame them when one of the front runners is called Morten Messerschmidt. He once got really drunk in Tivoli gardens and started 'heiling', true story. It was entirely a joke, but all the associations are there. -

I don't actually remember the EU being popular ever as such, most of the major national parties realise that it's necessary. It's partially my fault actually, I didn't bother voting. Also it's not the 'far right' in Denmark. It's your slightly racist grandmother's party, the 'medium right', and as we all know, old people vote. They don't want to be associated with front nationalle and their like and have rejected forming such alliances. -
It's finger cancer man. You're not long for this world.

I thought the problem was that the ballots looked very much like they were stacked, like someone put them there in one go.

I guess there is no harm in instituting some sort of regular regimen, nothing spectacular just some pushups. Not going to join a gym this time, I learned my lesson. That just ends up making you feel like a sucker for paying and not using it.

Thanks, but I give myself all the credit, I spend lots of time and energy on improving myself and staying healthy, my reward is a tough, efficient body that is hard to destroy. I'm sure the angels up there have better things to do than to care about puny mortals like me. Always remember that the only being you can depend on is yourself. I compensate for the temple of debauchery that is my body by not going 60 kmh an hour on my bycicle. I mean, I would rather have yours, just not all the work that goes with it.

Wolenstein the New Order ? I guess not. What are the odds that who games called 'the new order' would come out at the same time.

Supposedly the engine only works well on consoles. The PC version will have crappy framerates regardless of your hardware.

Now if I could just find a theater showing the 2d version.

What was so great about it exactly. I'd watch them once for the effects mostly. They are pretty predictable you know. I'm thinking this is the nostalgia effect in action, like Starwars or whatever.

Nah, someone just forgot to tell them what to think this week, without the official decree they are just standing around clueless.

This is my board. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvNnv7nh2Es The people at MSI aren't subtle

Some guys from work caught this during a movie festival thing. Said it was all kinds of awesome.

This isn't one of those things that are automatically helped by an awareness campaign and then fundraisers and whatever will sort out the rest. # If you want to help go to Nigeria and buy a gun. Douches trying to coopt the campaign to suit thier anti American agenda is even worse though.

My last was MSI, not convinced brands are that different. ASUS is a little more expensive on average.

Awsome, right up to the point it had to start to deliver on the plot it had presented.

Seriously disappointed by the finale and the way McConaughey's character was 'resolved'. Instead of the promised plot we get a near death experience and a borne again Christian. I mean that does happen, and it's a good thing too I suppose, it just makes for bad drama.

Which is why people will sometimes find people selling cars for nothing.

That's a bit convenient, feels like a forced association between dogma and science. Ideas orginiate in metaphysics, man thinking about his place in the universe, and are only tested with the imperical method. The big bang theory would be a footnote in a long list of metaphysical ramblings if not for imperical observation. We haven't observed the hand of God yet. If or when we do, you can credit the church with the big bang theory.

If there was a memo that the old testament didn't contain the myth of creation for a whole host of christian churches I certainly missed it. As far as I know it's still Adam and Eve and from darkness in 7 days.
