Zionism was the driving force for creating Israel. Now it's a driving force for never being able to live there in peace, hand in hand with Palestinean extremists to be fair. If you think it determines US forgein policy that's tin foil hat paranoia.

Someone had to. Geez that was beautiful, beautiful and haunting Someone had to

And then they will have to come up with alternatives. Nuclear or whichever, after which both the German checks and the German demand will permanently decrease. Germany needs energy, but Russia has nothing else to sell. Without energy export she will be crippled in short order.

in my experience there is rarely ever moral context to considerations about national security. since ultimately not a whole lot is at stake we can afford them. another story with russia. not to say it isnt wrong. it is.but other consideration take presedence

Kirk seems dangerously stupid. He can do one thing well, play chicken with hostile spaceships, but surely there is more to being commander of the Enterprise than being unpredictable. Spock is imminently more qualified.

Well Scotland isn't being pressured/influenced into independence by a third party. Elections in Crimea would never be approved by monitors due to the chaotic situation.

I felt sure you meant she was the hipster journalist. I mean she's discussing military deployment like she was doing a testimonial for shampoo.

http://youtu.be/JcIQIdu5Rrs Don't be so jealous. These guys for protection here, they don't have time for girls. And they must avoid deanon also ( its Anonymous Legion lol ) What the ..... was that.

This is pretty interesting stuff, but I wish you would post sources. If it's just stuff floating around the Russian internets then I'm afraid it's not very trustworthy.

Ukranian self defence forces built them in a garage ?

He's not going to get it now.

I've got a Corsair but I can never tell if the fan is running or not. Granted mine blows air out the underside of the case.
-
The PSU doesn't report temperature to the BIOS/monitoring software does it ?. Mine doesn't. If your board/CPU is running very hot it doesn't mean the PSU is, or that it has anything to do with it.

There is no force on earth that can just cancel out gravity unfortunately. Not now and not in 1000 years.

No one believes for a second that there are no Russian soldiers. Obviously they are coordinating with local separatist forces.
-
We would have known for sure how large the pro Russian sentiment is had we let things calm down and let the people decide for themselves.

What wrong? All military objects on Crimean territory under control of Crimean people now. Crimean selfdefence defend this property, but Ukrainians try make provocations. Guards do everythig right. Do you think crowd can go into any military base in Europe without permission and guards don't begin shoting in this situation? If yes - you are too naive. As I understand it Crimean politicians simply declared that they wanted autonomy and Russian aid. No election. Until democratic legitimacy is restored the best thing would have been to stay away. Securing the bases could easily have been achieved without an occupation force, and that's what they are protesting. Not that there are Russian troops in Russian owned bases.
-
You will notice that the provocateurs seem to be armed with flags and cameras. In fact would it not be more reasonable to call the Russian occupation a 'provocation'.

The point I was making was that the US would not interfere directly inside the Russian sphere of influence. Cold war dynamics that still apply. Georgia is case in point, as Oby pointed out. If not Georgia, then certainly not the Ukraine.
-
Yep. But USA don't want into war against Russia, and just throw away this treaty into garbage. Any treaty with USA about protection is useless paper, Georgians can prove this. Most lul'z thing is how China watch this Russian performance in Ukraine, but thinknig about Taiwan and other ilsand's. Actually there is quite a bit of historical precedence of not interfering in immediate spheres of interest. The US forces would not enter Ukraine, instead it would give military aid and training, and just sit back and wait for the Russians to leave on their own. Worked very well in Georgia and Afghanistan.

Is it Ascreed style stealth where being discovered means restarting from the last checkpoint or does it have melee mechanics like the old games ?
-
As I'm sure you are aware the major complaints are that it's linear and you get context buttons and button mashing sequences. The thief games always tried to give you exploration, in this case they opted to make it look as pretty as the puny new gen consoles were able, and sacrificed core gameplay elements in the process.

It really underscores how impossible it is now to move forces without being detected by some guy with a camera phone.
-
Perhaps because they have calculated that this will turn into a giant Russian headache in a matter of months ?
-
How so ? I mean if everyone had guns, at least they would have been able to shoot back, but that presumes everyone being armed all the time. Doesn't seem very plausible. I have a permit and carry almost everywhere I go. Well you aren't representative of the average Chinese commuter.
