I dunno, I suspect they thought their chances were better if they wound up on the winning side. They weren't savey enough to play both outcomes like the Finnish though. The creation of non German SS divisions was a political priority due to the troop shortage.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBTHss_1saI Don't know if this has been posted. About time someone thought of making an alien game survial/horror. Looks like this is what replaces 'our' cancelled alien RPG.

I've never gotten a coupon of any kind.

The issue is not retelling the story. It's how stupidly Hollywood does it. That's why i used equally profoundly stupid scenarios like a movie about Julius Caesar, set in ancient Rome, but starred by an all-japanese cast. While Throne of Blood and Ran were based on Shakespeare, they completely changed the setting and threw out everything except the basic plot-points. See the difference? But...47 Ronin is set in Japan with what I believe is a mostly Japanese except Keanu (explained in story) and the westerners on the outer islands (Dutch?) that appear in the single sequence when the lead Ronin goes there (to recruit Keanu - explained in the story) Which is a bit more like if Japan had done a movie about Julius Ceasar, set in Ancient Rome, filmed in Budapest and staring a mostly european cast except for one of the two male leads who is a period explained Japanese national or something. I gotta say I was a bit disappointed with all the fantasy elements, there is plenty of meat in the original story. It's basically The Three musketeers meets The Count of Montechristo meets Hamlet (everybody dies) , and there are 49 of them.

I've got 4 Skyrim cards and 7 X-Com cards. Can I retire now. Who is buying these things and what do they do ? Ohh and a snowglobe too.

You get tired of the gameplay, but it\s really funny having all those cliches thrown at you. It\s one huge postmodernist insider joke about gameplay and mechanics/development.

I'm assuming Nvidia still have the edge, and by that I mean that they probably have plans locked away for the next two generations of GFX waiting for a reason to implement them.

Loved Divine Divinity, not loving this.
-
Won't be playing Dark Souls either. It comes with games for windows live.
-
I heard good things about Dark Soul and it was only a fiver. I really gotta stop buying crap just because it's cheap though. I got Divinity 2 which lasted all of 4 minutes, making it by far one of my most expensive per-minute purchases. I can't count the times this has happened during the holyday sales. Now they just sit there taking up space in my games list and reminding me that I'm a sucker. I just wish I could remove them from my account.

I imagine tripping balls would help quite a lot with the enjoyment.

What does "mature" mean, anyway?
Gorgon replied to Endrosz's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I hope it means adult without meaning boobs. Those would be two pixels wide anyway, what's the point of Witcher porn for Eternity anyway. -
I want to be able to edit, write notes and juggle several PDF files, I'm talking 5 or 6 open at the same time in different screen locations on two or more monitors. It would also be nice if the document remembered its zoom level and what screen it was last displayed on. Is there anything like that out there. Arcobat is garbage.

UK Muslims targeted for speaking out about terror
Gorgon replied to Walsingham's topic in Way Off-Topic
It's equally about political stability. Where is the profit if it is being eaten away fighting rebels. The point has been made that the chief need for colonies was getting in and establishing a presence before your rivals. Initially it was commonly left to private initiative, charter companies from the small ones founding the first colonies in Massachusetts to the V.O.C. which had a larger army than most countries. -

Case in point the Americas cost so much you had to levy taxes which made them rebel. In the end analysis not worth the effort for any other reason than to deny it to the other powers.
