  1. Idk, it's not that riveting gameplay wise, it's worth it to do it early on for the gold and some weapons.
  2. BG3

l like DA:O, it's the D:OS2 part that I'm not too sure about. Saying that I haven't seen anything that jumps out as terrible to me, I'll wait to see some part of BG itself and probably stop watching at that point. Although I do agree to the point someone made, I cannot believe they don't give an option to skip the dicerolls.

The more I'm looking at the game the more I think that it's an evolution of DA:O with the D&D world/ruleset and TB combat. They just tried to improve on everything.

DOS2 was very popular. I agree with @Wormerine. If nothing else, it's even simpler than it's counterparts in some aspects.
  5. Was anyone able to save all the courtesans on higher difficulty? I just gave up and lowered the difficulty for the fight. Seems like the AI is programed to target the npcs in that fight.
  6. You miss some fights and items if you skip it. You can go back to the market district after the defense and it will have new enemies.

I wasn't thinking of that (UI) in particular, more for the game overall.
  8. You rest at the inn because it takes less time, so you can rest more than once. There is an optimal way to do it, but it's a pain in the ass.
  9. I've been cheating a little bit this time around. I don't want to go through the market district fights with low health (like last time) and juggle resting at the inn vs how much time I spend to get to it, to be able to finish all the time sensitive quests in 3 days, so I've been using the toybox to rest. I really dislike time sensitive quests in these types of games.

I think it looks great for what it is, which is not IE or the PF games (or in my mind a crpg) and that's how I will treat it. It's more along the lines of DA:O. While I don't like many of the small things that I saw so far, overall I think it's worth trying to play for myself and deciding if I like it. Saying that I do not feel the overwhelming urge to install it right away and play it.

The actionbar. Tbh, I prefer the drop downs, they allow some organization and relegation of abilities you don't care about. The more I look at it the more I'm reminded of a mmo. I think this game will benefit from some cook time, so it may be well and good to play it at a later time.

Is it me or does the UI look less than good. Seems pretty unintuitive. Also the mmo style inventory and items are so unfortunate. Did they really need to tier the items by color.
  13. It's like a lovechild of LoTR and Stardust soundtrack. Me gusta.

Not really, as my OS is on the SSD, but thanks for the info. It's not really an issue to get a SSD, it's just that I don't want to spend money on it right now. If it was something I really wanted to play I would bite the bullet and upgrade my ssd/gpu, but as I'm still on the fence regarding the turned based combat and the combat in general, I would rather continue my playthrough of WotR and just get BG3 down the line when I can run it without issues. I was looking for some comparisons to other games, but he does mention some things in the comments. Nice review overall.

I have the minimum config, without the ssd. (I do have the ssd, but only 128gb) It would be if it was recommended, but not minimum.

No clue. I find it strange too.

Only if it's good! 😛 Idk, from what I'm seeing I would probably give it a shot at some point. But first I need an ssd, a new graphics card and for it to not cost 60euro.
  18. Twisted Metal, I couldn't get past the windshield wiper commercial/product placement, which is in the first 10 minutes.
  19. Probably just to cause panic. Doubt they dropped anyone off. Unless they already have logistics/insurgents set up. Then again a lot of people immigrated to Poland at the start of the war, it's not that farfetched that some pro-Russia people set up there.
  20. EU urges Russia not to escalate the conflict as an answer to the drone attacks. Although I'm not too sure what else is there to do apart from a full draft.
  21. I have dyslexia it seems. I read it as Aeon judgment instead of inquisitor...
  22. They fixed it in the latest patch.
