  1. I don't think I mind 5e that much, from what I see at least and from what I experienced in Solasta (the biggest dislike was concentration per 1 active spell), it's simply a different flavor that's simpler. Sven put it perfectly, a softcore RPG. The turned based combat is the bigger issue for me, it's just so slow and limiting. It may be a different story when I play, but I doubt I will change my opinion much.
  2. Happy birthday. I had my own survival ceremony a couple of days ago and I've come to the conclusion that I should stop counting.

You must have an AMD CPU. Well known issue that quotes mess up on AMD. I was thinking about random spikes in cpu usage causing cooler fans to max out. I heard from few people having that issue on Ryzen, although it could just as well have been the MB. Maybe @majestic should try another brand of MB and see if it makes a difference.

    That's usually an AMD issue.
  5. Finished with Kenabres. Vanilla monk is pretty strong. Not too sure I will do all the side content this time around. Apart from that I'm thinking about bumping up the difficulty, but I dislike how the difficulty is achieved.

  7. It's surprisingly pretty interesting. I keep watching the new videos.
  8. In case anyone is interested in commercial HVAC units. Some bike restoration
  9. The power of horny compels you, the power of horny compels you, the power of horny compels you!
  10. Hmmm. Guess I got it wrong then.
  11. @InsaneCommander How did your ending go? Was anyone sacrificed?
  12. If you had the post credit scene that should be the secret ending.
  13. He toned it way down since Tenant, that one I had to plug my ears watching because it physically hurt me in some scenes. The bigger issue with Oppenheimer is that the soundtrack tries to highlight every scene as if it's equally important to every other scene and after 3 hours of that you end up mentally exhausted. I would say give it a watch at home, where you can take a break, because the movie is worth the watch and there is nothing in it that benefits from seeing it on the big screen.
  14. Been back to an actual theater after 3 years. Oppenheimer is pretty good, Nolan still uses sound like a cudgel, which after 3 hour exhausts you. I won't say the film was too long, because I wasn't bored at any point, but I would have had a better experience watching it at home. I got a lot of Memento vibes from it.
  15. I can't believe they split Spiderman Across the Spiderverse in to 2 parts and on such a cliffhanger. I thought we were past this ****. Had I known I would have waited for the second part... Also the quality of the animation took a nosedive in this one. You can see as the movie progresses how the backgrounds disappear and in some scenes even some characters lose detail. Guess they didn't have the time in this one. Overall I liked it and had fun.

That's such a great description and spot on.
  17. Idk, it's not that riveting gameplay wise, it's worth it to do it early on for the gold and some weapons.

l like DA:O, it's the D:OS2 part that I'm not too sure about. Saying that I haven't seen anything that jumps out as terrible to me, I'll wait to see some part of BG itself and probably stop watching at that point. Although I do agree to the point someone made, I cannot believe they don't give an option to skip the dicerolls.

The more I'm looking at the game the more I think that it's an evolution of DA:O with the D&D world/ruleset and TB combat. They just tried to improve on everything.

DOS2 was very popular. I agree with @Wormerine. If nothing else, it's even simpler than it's counterparts in some aspects.
  21. Was anyone able to save all the courtesans on higher difficulty? I just gave up and lowered the difficulty for the fight. Seems like the AI is programed to target the npcs in that fight.
  22. You miss some fights and items if you skip it. You can go back to the market district after the defense and it will have new enemies.

I wasn't thinking of that (UI) in particular, more for the game overall.
