Frieren episode 9 was a treat, really impressed with how they did the battle and it's going to get so much better plot wise.
Also surprised to see they are doing 28 episodes. Means they will pretty much catch up to the manga.
I did follow the manga along and it was fairly popular, but the art was a deal breaker for me. The story was convoluted and on top of that the manga had an art style bordering on the abstract. All of that contributed to you having to study every chapter like a nuclear physics book...
It's very much seinen.
To hide their weeb eye.
Knock on wood, the manga is still awesome. Although at this point it's bi-weekly chapters with all the breaks the mangaka is taking. Was hoping once the anime was out it would go back to regular, but it doesn't seem like it will.
No just to bring it outside to the ground. I am high up and didn't want to risk killing it. The female occupants of the house didn't want to share the balcony, said female occupant didn't want the shoe box back.
Saw a praying mantis in person for the first time. It was on my balcony hanging upside down. When I got close with a shoe box and it turned its head towards me, I took a step back.
Depends on the books. LotR was a soft magic system, much closer to miracles and the like, while on the other end you have Sanderson's magic system with hard rules. Wot is somewhere in the middle pulling towards hard.
You just need to get to end of book one, then everything starts making sense (kind of) and it's not a problem with the following books. I think this is the only fantasy series I read that gets closest to what you are asking.
