  1. I was in a mood for some sci-fi. It was a toss up between Dredd and the new Blade Runner. After my 5th rewatch of Dredd, it's still great.
  2. Since I started working I haven't been on a vacation. Probably some 5 years before that too.
  3. Seconded. But man is Affleck dead in the eyes... Don't know what happened to him.
  4. When I fist load youtube there is significant lag in loading the video. Seems like it's waiting to load the whole page. Especially obvious in private mode.
  5. From the horses mouth: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/gaming/resources/how-to-apply-thermal-paste.html (go to Situations to Avoid section) edit: Although testing shows no difference
  6. I heard that the more thermal paste you put in the better the temps.
  7. Ah, but Red Alert 2 was, for me, the perfection of the singleplayer RTS formula. @Gromnir Tbh, looking back on it I couldn't tell you how I felt about resource gathering in the game. I didn't mind it, I guess. Thinking about it the only game where I would say resource gathering was done particularly well is Homeworld 2, but in multiplayer. Because you could salvage your shipwrecks and probably because that led to the best pvp match I had in any game. For context and on a tangent, my main strategy playing pvp in Homeworld was to rush battlecruisers. The usual guy I played against liked to build out the normal path, fighters in to mid tier units. Our matches usually ended up with me building the first bc and running away with the game, or him managing to harass me enough to overwhelm my early fighter/bomber combo. One day he decided to try my strategy which led to epic fights culminating, at one point, with around 10 bc each a **** load of destroyers and a lot of fighter/bombers on my side and a bunch of flack frigates and missile launchers on his side. He had better unit control and effectively targeted my bc modules and weapons, but I had better positioning. All in all what we had leftover was not enough to finish off the others mothership and at this point we drained the whole map of resources, but at the middle of the map there were a LOT of wrecks. Enough to unit cap for the next fight. We agreed that the next fight was to the last ship and the winner would take all. So we hyperspace in and start closing in on each other and...the game crashes... I guess it's for the best as it left something to the imagination and no one lost.
  8. I just embrace the new. Keeps things interesting and fresh. Although I do not keep the default layout in firefox.
  9. Some people like the social aspect, why though is beyond me. You also have the people who take it as a break from their family/children.
  10. Have you ever seen the security during the Olympic events? Or the any larger sport event in the US? I think they build sniper nest for stations now.
  11. I use the bios flasback feature. Safest and the most straight forward way to do it.
  12. Started playing Wartales. I have to make myself play the game without feeling the need to get the best results. It's not that kind of a game.
  13. Honor Among Thieves. Pretty good for what it is. Got more than a few laughs out of me and the action was fairly interesting and engaging.
  14. @majestic Which MB/RAM did you get? I search a couple of previous pages and couldn't find it.
  15. How about no... If it weren't for netflix I wouldn't even open it...
  16. Sanctuary. A show about sumo wrestling. It's pretty good and a warm recommend from me.
  17. Yeah... Happened last night. This will probably (hopefully) bring in radical changes in gun control. The issue is that after the wars in the 90s everyone kept their weapons (automatic rifles, grenades even rpgs).
  18. Finished Solasta. Took me 40 hours. As far as the game itself, while I am not a fan of turned based, it does do turned based combat in the best possible way, like XCOM. The story and quest are fairly simple and straight forward, but not to the detriment of the game, instead the whole package is very lean and focused. There are no uneven parts of the game, the encounters are to the point and don't make the game drag on. For what it is I'm fairly satisfied with what I got for my money. The only thing that I particularly disliked is that it's a low level adventure and as such there is not that much to customize build wise (although that could also be the edition of d&d) and there is a noticeable lack of interesting items. I think there is an expansion/dlc coming that continues the adventure and raises the lvl cap to 16. I will definitely come back to it.
  19. The psychologist can decide if there is a need for punishment. Right now he is in a mental institution and if they decide that he is deranged he will be kept there. Alternatively he will be sent to a correction institution for young children.
  20. Only knock against it I would have is that it's a single evaporator cooling, otherwise Whirlpool is a good brand. But man my opinion may not be worth much considering that 90% of the things I bought didn't outlast the warranty.
