  1. Finally got around to installing it. Surprisingly the battery was above design capacity and after doing a recalibration it seems to have lost less than 1% capacity.
  2. I mean all of the books had relatively quick culminations. A battle happened, these guys won, closing dialogue. He doesn't go in to much details. Maybe it's worth some money now. 😄
  3. I mean book 3 is just as good if not better. Book 6 tried to do a similar narrative to book 4, but as I said it did have a character to carry it. If I had to order them it would probably go something like 1 and 3 > 4 > 5 > 6 and 2.
  4. I thought that was only in Germany, but seeing how far back it goes I guess it makes sense. Yeah, it the US they at least need to show up on TV and ask for it. 😛
  5. But it's not really a sad story.
  6. Finished book 6. This one was a bit of a slog. They tried to do a similar narrative to God Emperor, but the issue was that none of the characters where that interesting. What it does do well is set up any future plot.
  7. Damn... That's not a small difference. Although it could be that disney's effort was just not well done.
  8. Finished book 5. I think I may have skipped this book by accident previously, I guess I will find out with book 6. Either way a great read, even though it had a slow start.
  9. Bought a new higher capacity battery from lenovo. I waited a month for it and now when I got it I open the box and see the manufactured date is 2021.10... I guess I will give it a try, but age and li-ion batteries don't go well together...
  10. The worst thing about colonoscopy is the prep for it.
  11. Me Before You. It's good in that sappy sort of way. If you liked About Time you will like this I think.
  12. I think I missed most of the messiah connection in Leto II and his underlying suffering and sadness throughout the book in my previous readthrough. The ending hit very differently this time around. Yeah, I would add Duncan's outrage to homosexuality to that. That was such an odd scene in the book that kind of felt out of place to me. It had zero build up to it and zero consequences. I guess I could see it as just another indicator to him feeling out of place with the times, but no... At least with Nyala orgasm, you could connect it to the cult and dogma of the Fish Speakers, but even then that scene felt a little bit like out of nowhere. I'm on chapter 2 of book 4. Didn't have much time to read and the book is slow going, but I'm determined this time around to give it more of an effort, at least half the book.
  13. Got signed out 4 times in a row in the span of an hour.
  14. I have to say, book 4 was a much more engaging read this time around. On to book 5, this is where I stopped the before.
  15. Uf https://www.digitalmusicnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/diddy-v-jones-sexual-assault-complaint-feb-2024.pdf
  16. Seems to be muslims from the information so far. Which doesn't not exclude Ukrainian involvement, but there is no word so far on that.
  17. So that's it for Frieren as far as this season goes. They have more than enough chapters to do a similar run straight away and they pretty much confirmed that it will happen. No reason for it not to considering the popularity.
  18. Uh, the tiny fonts are the worst. Basically end up cross eyed after any extended reading. Thank good for ebook readers.
  19. Finished Children of Dune. Yeah the tone and pacing is much closer to book 1, compared to book 2. Dune Messiah comes of as an interlude between the two books. Anyways, on to book 4.
  20. Yep. Seems that this is not the first time he did it. At one point he spawned bots in a ranked game for a streamer and turned it in to zombie mode, spammed streamers with packs to unlock all cosmetics and similar stuff. But this one is big as the publicity is much larger. The funniest thing about this whole thing is that the hacker can just claim he did this before and that he influenced past tournaments. How apex works, and most shooter games these days too, is that anyone who is playing on a controller has aim assist in an effort to level the playing field with the mouse and keyboard players. So he could have just modified the value for the aim assist to be stronger and made whichever team he wanted have better odds.
  21. So during an official Apex Legends tournament, players got hacked and remote installed cheating cheating software on their PCs. To make matters funny some got an account ban. What makes this story interesting is that apex runs a kernel level anti-cheat software and the suspicion is that the hack happened through it. This is the screen that flashed for every player when the hack happened. See if you can spot it. 😄
  22. Could be, it doesn't help that it's the older style of Serbian either, that's why I said it with some reserve. On the other hand the first part of the book was all introspection, until one point where it just went back to normal pacing and book 3 feels much more like book 1 too. Either way I get why I completely spaced out on book 2 in the series.
