The chosen one and his palls are reborn in every cycle to fight for the rebirth of the world and the "evil" survives every time. It's not a carbon copy, but the bones of the story are the same, or at least that is the feeling that I got.

It's a dirty install, that is for sure. As for old programs working, I had no issues and I suspect most people won't have any as this is basically just a new build of win8 + a reskin.

Haven't read the novel so I can't really compare.

The best one hands down is Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox

Yep, and they are better for it. I mean if you liked it great, but when I compare it to the previous animation I find it really underwhelming, especially considering they where only getting better and better (not including the second to last one (the one with the Court of Owls)).

Finished it, but with a caveat, I kind of fast forwarded through it. I mean the main story line is brilliant and the ending is gut wrenching, but it's too slow in a lot of places. It could have easily been half as long and it would have been great. Also who ever came up with the storyline for Wolf's Rain must have read the Wheel of Time series, because the main plot line is pretty much the same, not that I mind.

The sad thing is that's how it should be.

I found it so underwhelming. Compared to the previous DC animated movies that came out it was really disappointing.

Find a copy of it online, burn it, then scan the original disc cover and lightscribe it on the burned dvd. It's a little work, but hey if you care about the collection it's worth it.

Well after watching Bebop I can see a lot of things that Champloo lifted from it, also Firefly straight up copied most of it.
