Ok, played about 8 hours so far now, here are some updated thoughts. The Good - Art Design - Music - Background sounds - Game world - Dialogue - Characters - Immersive Needs Improvement - Needs more portraits and more options for character creation in general - Sometimes it is hard to see you're characters 100%, maybe making them stick out a tad more would be good - The combat is a tad fast, not way to fast like some are saying, but still needs a bit of work. I like how it works but needs polish - Bugs/Optimization - This is a beta so I am sure there will be improvements in this before the final game Not sure On Yet - AI - UI Keep up the good work, it is honestly about what I was expecting. A question, will this beta get any updates or will we get newer versions at a later time (before release)?

I kind of like the speed, if they do slow it down, maybe about 5% would be good.

- Sweet music - Great art design - Enjoyable ambient sounds - Good writing - Only thing I wish for is most options when creating a character (More portraits, More hairstyles, etc..) keep up the good work Obsidian, so far so good!

Aw... that's a rather big disappointment after making such an exiting announcement. You release a Backer Beta that excludes most of your backers from using it? If you give kickstarter page a read you will see the lower backer amounts don't include beta. You do have the option though of doing a add on of 25$ if you would like to play the beta.

Congrats Godsidian! So far I am having fun in the beta, the art design is gorgeous, the combat is fun and its very immersive. I like the audio to, the music and the background sounds. Good luck the rest of the way

Well worth every penny imo. So far I am 14 hours in and not finished yet, great job Trey/Matt and Obsidian!

Played 4 hours so far with 360 controller and it has been perfect, not one issue. I also have windwos 7 and 64 bit.

no idea, but 360 controller works very well on pc, not sure if that would be better or not. Good luck I ohpe you can find something to help out or that Obsidian patches this in.

Total Biscuit also enjoyed it Overall positive reviews so far! The Giantbomb or PC gamer are the ones so far I agree the most with.

Only about 45minutes in but this is fantastic already good god. Laughing my A** off! Great job Obsidian and South Park writers, as a live time South Park fan and Obsidian fan I must say this even surpassing the expectations I had. Hope the rest is as funny! Loosk like the show, feels like the show, great job!

I also heard Fallout New Vegas was only 15 hours long... I spent 61 hours on my first playthrough lol. With side quests,etc.. which I always love doign Im sure it is a good deal longer.

Obsidian is awesome! I am a huge South Park and Obsidian fan, if you enjoy this you should check out there other games! (especially Fallout New Vegas, Mask Of The Betrayer, Never Winter Nights 2, Alpha Protocol and KOTOR2). Hope this one is good to, so far it looks like it!

So close now! Cool to see some of the people who worked on the game in here! This was one of those games that was a dream that you would say to you're friends you wish would come out. Obsidian and the South Park writers making a south park rpg, what an awesome idea, saw some videos on youtube and it is looking hilarious and fun! Not that long of a wait not people! Think I might try a Mage or Thief, stoked how much it looks like the tv show and also I saw that Mr.Slave is in the game, awesome lol.

Please tell me you won't do like everybody and choose the Jew class. Besides, we would need to learn more about the Thief's and the Mage's abilities. I don't think I will pick Jew to start, maybe the 2nd playthrough

Another Obsidian game will be releasing in one week, South Park: The Stick of Truth! I am very excited as Obsidian has made some of my favorite rpgs, I love how they do dialogue, characters and stories. And I am a huge south park fan and roleplaying fan so this is a dream come true really. Good luck with the game Obsidian, looking forward to playing it next week and of course Pillars of Eternity at a later time! Who all is counting down the days for this new Obsidian game? Are you South Park fans to aswell as Obsidian fans? What games are you playing to pass the time? Any plans for when the game is released? Will you rush the story or hit up alot of exploration of the city and side quests? Will you be streaming or doing any youtube videos for it? Will you do alot at a time or space you're gaming out for this game? For me lately I have been playing some of the following: Banished, DayZ, Forza5, Wasteland 2 and my 9th playthrough of Fallout New Vegas I will be exploring and doing alot of side quests when I play and probably uploading some videos of this to my youtube/twitch pages. Probably will play ALOT on the first day it is out hehe, Obsidian gaems always seem to manage to pull me in well!

They are just previews, but boy are they fun to read! Can't wait till next month! I really am in heaven with this game, my favorite rpg devs with the southpark writers, making an rpg.. so awesome!
