  1. Got the key right away after pressing generate and steam, can't wait for thursday!
  2. Obsidian and Larian did a good job with there first kickstarter's imo.
  3. I have not watched much in the way of streams but I can't help but get hyped up for this one, it is an Obsidian game after all!
  4. Two totally different types of rpg's (one is combat focused, the other story/character/dialogue driven), plus Bloodborn is not on PC, while Pillars is PC exclusive.
  5. Steam no doubt. I love GOG for older games that don't update often but for new games Steam is great with its fast updates, can chat with friends, etc..
  6. Ohhh my god..... I use to have this o_0 This and Heros Quest lol
  7. I wish I didn't know until thursday! haha. The wait is the hardest it has been for a videogame since Fallout 2 and Baldurs Gate 2! (maybe toss Super Mario 3 in there)
  8. This was one of the ones that I remember seeing, was quite different than most the other reviews as far as the bugs comment
  9. Not sure what they were talking about. I played it release day and didn't hit a single bug that I can remember. Might have been some problem exclusive to consoles. There was a handful of reviews that said they had issues, but most where positive and didn't mention bugs.
  10. Wish you luck man, most the time they seem to give the keys up in a good manner of time but I have had two experiences with them where I didn't get my key early enough to preload the game and a bit late, but that was rare!
  11. Was bad release on PC to, every other match it would have a server caused crash for me and my friends it was annoying as hell!
  12. This is one thing I never understood at all. Bethesda games get praised and rarely mentioned for bugs, yet Obsidian has got slammed in the past, while Bethesda just gets away with it lol. I had 1 crash in my first playthrough of Fallout New Vegas, while having 5 in Fallout 3. I had some issues in NWN2, New Vegas had some quest bugs,etc.. but in all honesty I have yet to have any gamebreaking bugs where I can't go ahead or it messes up my whole game with Obsidian. I heard some people having non stop crashes with Alpha Protocol, only issue I had in that game was some ai bugs and one spot where the fps would dip down, no crashes though in two playthrough's. Then as you said, South Park and DS3, the least buggy of Obsidian's games that I have played and yet there is little to no mention about this with reviewers. I have loved some of Bethesda's games in the past (daggerfall and Morrowind the most), but imo they have had just as buggy games as Obsidian if not more buggy from my personal experience.
  13. mmmmmmm pizza, stop teasing me! I don't have pizza but I do have homemade fishcakes and chips (fries for all you Americans) in the oven - they should be done in about 15 mins. mmmmmmmm fishcakes and chips, why must you all tease me!
  14. This will be interesting, I bet Angry Joe will love it, as for Total Biscuit hard to say, hes not the biggest rpg fan it seems.
  15. If you read the whole article it is overall very positive... its not 100% positive and some issues they have but that is how most first impressions go. Once again I am not acting like Kotaku (or any site) is the holly grail of opinions, just that its nice to see a big huge gaming site having positive things to say and bringing some new interested gamers to Pillars (I have already seen on other forums this article made a handful of people preorder, so its doing some good). After Alpha Protocol reviews and New Vegas getting 84% instead of 85% and them not getting there bonus happened, its just nice to see some positivity coming Obsidian's way in the mainstream gaming press!
  16. There latest two games South Park and DS3 I found to be pretty much bug free, compared to there games before in the past. That bolds well for Pillars I think!
  17. Very happy, why thank you I forgot that PoE is launching this week, it was the most awesome start to the week when I got reminded. I wish I would have forgot about its release to lol, its been hard waiting
  18. I usually feel teh same about most big gaming websites and reviews but this is Obsidian, I always like to see them do well. If a mainstream website says they like it, that is good in my book just for the fact it will get even more people interested Would love to see Obsidian get rave reviews all around
  19. You can pick between GOG and Steam once its time. You will just go to the backer area and then press Generate and what place you want the key from. Keep an eye on your email and the Pillars Portal!
