The voice actors for the Black Pits in BG2EE were horrible, pure badness: they didn't want to sound "normal" (maybe they sounded too american), so they all made up horrible accents like swedish, german, french and whatnot. Oh god, it was painful to listen to. You can't have people from the street reading texts after brilliant BG2 voice actors. And you can't make them sound like they're struggling with english because they're all sorts of europeans, it's Faerun, not dota2 solo queue. Just horrible. I felt no immersion, it was so bothersome, that I just dropped the game after 20 minutes.

Try vanilla WoW, there are very good servers out there (i.e. emerald dream) with a great and a very big community. They're populated by adults, no kids there. Lots of people are playing at low and mid levels so you never feel alone and can always find a party for dungeons. For better or worse, it's the best thing that you can get in terms of MMO at this moment. WoW went to **** pretty much after the first expansion, kids got to it, the game aligned itself to please kids more, etc. On vanilla servers you get the exact replica of what you could get in 2004-2005 with the exact same people playing. Blizzard doesn't even condone or forbid it.

All x10, x20, x30 nvidia cards are for office and such purposes. Gaming cards start at x60, no matter what generation. And the best ones quality/price-wise are x70 and x80.

There is an unlocked version of drivers for all Nvidia and Ati laptop cards, google it for god's sake. It's made by laptop communities, not official. As to not being as efficient, it's because the cooling system in laptops is just one small fan for both CPU and GPU. Of course it can't be as efficient as in PC where you have 2 fans on the video card alone and another medium one on CPU. Think, man. And who in their right mind buys laptops for gaming.

I built all buildings after 2 hours of playing. There's nothing else for me to do there. Boring. Gameplay-wise, I never even used quarries and mines because it takes forever to create 1 metal/stone, while you can just send your laborers across the map to get tonnes of that stuff. It's really unbalanced that way.

I bet it's the US hacking things again to spy on people. Who else would do it? Nobody.

Are you kidding me? I'm always bringing down 99% of the games left and right, but in teso the starting location (common for all races) is GENIUS. Spent the last 3 days playing TESO. I thought they just wanted to make a generic mmo and cash in on all those people who bought skyrim. Instead they made a really good mmo. It's not a wow-killer, but better than all previous attempts. It's original in many ways, they really tried to be different and not make a clone. Really, bravo. Just to give a few examples of how it's different from all those clones: You can join up to 5 guilds. The PvP battleground is the size of 6-7 Barrens from WoW. You can build trebuchet, ballistas, etc, rebuild your broken walls,... The number of participants at the same time,... idk, must be hundreds. The number of crafting/gathering professions is not restricted. As part of crafting, you can improve the quality of any item, you can even make an item legendary. The item you're going to craft can look 15 different ways depending on the style you chose for it (dunmer style, khajiit, daedric, etc...) There are no recipes for item crafting. You discover things (i.e. you found an item that improves running speed and you studied it) and then you can use them in your item creation. The quest givers never ask you to bring more than 6 items, all of which have 100% drop rate. Most of the time, it's 2-3 items in the vicinity. You don't just get abilities/spells from your class and race, but also from organizations you choose to join. You can only have a bar with 5 spells/abilities. If you switch weapon, you get another 5 slots. You can't use more, although you can have more.

I guess I just can't get used to the idea of paying for books. Libraries give you much better books for free, and yet here I actually payed a disproportionate amount of money for a digital version of a short story. It doesn't sit well with me.

So about that w2 novella. I was really annoyed when I found out I couldn't get it for free because what I donated wasn't enough. Here's why. It's really fking stupid to limit the number of people who can get it. The more we get to read about the w2 universe, the more they get excited, talk to other people and spread the word. Maybe some people who haven't donated would read the novella (through recommendation by a friend) and then decide to get the game as well. And also the more people know about the universe, the "bigger" it is. If the author expands the universe, but doesn't let anyone read his novella, then it's as if it never got published, and so the w2 world remains unchanged. In this situation, they released it to such a few people, that you can basically say that the world didn't get expanded. It's stupid, Brian Fargo, admit it. So anyway, I was really pissed off by this. I went on smashwords (it's the site where they sell the novella) and downloaded for free the first 20% of the book. And after reading the first 20%, I couldn't help but buy the rest. Now I'm even more pissed, because I didn't want to spend 8$ on a short story. I'm getting a game for $15, which is a collective work of a team of developers who it took 2 years to make. And there I am paying half that price for 40 pages, which is much much less work, it's about 2-3 weeks' work of a single person. This whole situation is just so unbelievably wrong.

NO. The reason no d&d games come out is because gamedev industry is about watching what others do and doing it yourself. Nobody does d&d? MUST BE UNPROFITABLE, LET'S NOT DO IT.
