  1. I tried setting the ZoomRange to 1,20 :... It works nicely And good we can now adjust the screen scroll speed...
  2. Cool ... Looking forward to try it later today :D
  3. I must have played this game for thousands of hours (hundreds certainly). I was SO stuck in Dorn's Deep the first time around (before HOW was published). I had run out of all ammunition and had to go all the way back... (Theese days i like to play with the ease-of-use-mod.) My amazement of the quick level advancement compared to BG - (I was like : ) I also remember playing this in multi-player. We had 2 characters each. It was so fun, except for ToTLM, we were beaten many times (even on easy). Eventually made through, and started playing IWD2, that had just come out. Good times indeed. Anyone tried the quick loot yet? It is the most brilliant function added to the IE engine.... TRY IT :D
  4. It is possible to do some other quests before you go to the ogre cave, so that you wont have to be level 1 when facing him... Good to hear you finally got the game to work
  5. That's because you haven't tried Quick Loot, yet
  6. THIS IS SO COOL - I JUST PRE ORDERED Sorry for the caps, but I'm so freakin excited :D
  7. Jason is still working with the soundtrack. It's gonna be awesome when it is all shined up
  8. BG:EE.... I'm playing with the new patch 1.3 There is a new AWESOME feature build in.... QUICK LOOT !!! Yes, save so much time when looting, brilliant idea, excellent feature :D
  9. Awesome news ... Thanks Brandon :D Next week? That's monday??? *DROOOLING*
  10. I've also expressed my thoughts in the other thread. Ammunition was a big part of the IE games. I must admit that when Obsidian changes stuff like this it makes me sad... I know the IE system was not perfect. But to remove ammo completely, is over the top for me- AND MANY OTHER changes have been made to fit Obsidians visions of a new game, even though I bought it because of this description :"... Pillars of Eternity aims to recapture the magic, imagination, depth, and nostalgia of classic RPG's ...." Erhhm ... Why all the changes then? I'm beginning to think that Obsidian has aimed too high with this... If 4 mill$ is not enough to make an IE like game, then I'm starting to wonder how they ever made BG in 1999 ???
  11. The problem with making a spiritual successor game is that you can never please the fans of the original. It' would have been easier to please IE fans (or at least some of them), if there hadn't been so many unnecessary changes .... Well it's too late now anyway. I'm still glad I bought this game, it has got so much potential
  12. Aaaarggh!! "I want to make an epic "IE-like" game. But with new rules! The IE fans will love it" "Heheheheh. Yeah I'm in. Then we can change some of the stuff that we don't like" Yeah, I've got a list here, let me see...: ...Let's start with making the Elves shorter and uglier than humans" "...And the GUI must be at the buttom, at all costs... " "We remove the ammo, never liked that!" "I hate Romances", "Personally I hate Kill-XP..." "Yeah" "The list is only 23 pages..." "Uhh, can we add something Godlike? And make it more MMO'ish?"
  13. WHERE: Spell description - (Cipher) Soul Shock (lvl 2) Reads: "Briefly transforms the outer shell of an the allied target's soul into energy"... Expected: Should be "an" or "the" (allied target) - not both ... Hope this was the right thread - there are soooooo maaaaaaany
  14. Hello, Justin. I noticed one thing that annoyed me a lot. First I want to tell you the music is absolutely cool. I got no problems with the compositions at all. But, the music track in the Inn.... (i actually posted this as a bug report) There is too much volume on this track, compared to the theme playing outside. That is all. Great work, friend
  15. I have one more suggestion... Then I will shut up and wait for a patch, soonish...: When I quicksave, I really need the info (quicksave succesful) to appear in the LOG (not on top of the log, disapearing before i can notice it) ....
  16. Thanks. How about zooming out then? Is it a matter of resolution? The biggest screen i can get is 1920x1080 and it is almost perfect, just need to zoom out a tiny bit more...
  17. Thanks, Sensuki. Excellent thread, I agree with you so much ...
  18. I would like to be able to zoom in/out a little more. I know it is coming, but I really really need an option for "area scrolling speed" (it is too slow) The "tab" highlight have to work on everything... Animals hostile by default? (I'm thinking the lions, they don't seem to fit in) I don't like areas with nothing in them (i,e the mill) Combat is fine. I love it. Please don't slow it down, or make it easier.... MAKE CANCEL WORK EVEN IF YOU PRESSED A TRANSITION TO A NEW AREA (I guess this is actually a bug)
  19. The background music playing in the Inn is way to loud in volume, compared to the Dyrwood theme (playing outside). I hope it is not the finished music, it's very boring too...
  20. When you load a game, load it from the menu, in that way, you will keep your Journal and quests
  21. First I thought, that it would help to load the game from the menu. It seemed to work. No items lost. But then something happened. I checked i had the quest item in inventory. Started dialogue, no quest options, ended dialogue, enter inventory. The quest item was gone!
  22. Maybe not weight -related? I think it happened when i switched from melee to ranged. Got stuck several times, but reload fixes it for me...
  23. Also happened to me, when loading a new area... The zoom would only affect the fog of war ...
