  1. Hoodwinked Kinda entertaining. Im a bit burnt out on talking animals and whatnot but my daughter loved it.
  2. ^Awww, that last one is just the cutest!!!!
  3. Thats the pits. When I lived in Florida I had an encounter with a fire ant mound while mowing the lawn and got bit up from knee to ankle on my left leg. Those little buggers hurt like hell. In another day or so little pustules may form on each bite (looks like a zit) so have fun with that.
  4. I sell and provide tech support for spectrum analyzers and sound level meters.
  5. A Stranger is Watching Bad bad bad. As usual, the heroine is a total dumbass who couldnt think her way out of a closet, the killer is able to circumvent all methods of security with ease and the rest of the cast is just there to die. But maybe Im being too harsh. I fell asleep somewhere in the last 1/3 of the movie so maybe it suddenly got awesome.
  6. Yes, including those of the "star" and that still wasnt enough to save it. Godawful. Im not sure of the plot either but I figured that was because I never played the game. The gore was ridiculous, like they were trying for the Kill Bill V1 effect, but you know, not good. Also, I could have gone my entire life without seeing Meatloaf in a vampire orgy.
  7. Edmund was the "spook" who taught/forced Sayid how to torture his co-soldiers in Iraq. He is also the guy who was in the hatch and found Desmond when he washed up on the shore.
  8. ^Whats the "camel-chick" story?
  9. OK, my latest crackpot theory. The island is actually Atlantis' sitser city in the Pacific (you see evidence of large a civilization). It remained hidden to most on the planet due to its "unique geological" electromagnetic generation. The inhabitants were an advanced four toe race of humanoids that died off and the "security system" is a left over, still operational, sentinal. The island was somehow found by Dharma who set up shop to experiment with the islands properties and possibly recovered advanced technology. Something went wrong with Dharma and we are where we are today.
  10. I dunno about that. Henry specifically told Michael once he leaves on compass heading 325 he wouldnt ever be able to return. IMO, the electromagnetic field generated a "cloak" over the island. Now that it has been destroyed it released an electromagnetic pulse which will be triangulated back to the island. Or, maybe not. Clearly that line is BS... otherwise no one would be able to get there at all... and Desmond got there somehow If there's a way out, there's a way in. I think all of the lostaways (except the Dharma employees) were sucked in either on purpose (for children?) or by accident (like flight 815 when Desmond let the system briefly fail). If you notice, all lostaways arrive on something metal (flight 815, the ship the French chick was on) that just so happened to get too close to the island. Well, except the hot air ballon guy, I havent got a good explanation for that one.

  12. ^Agreed. Any ideas why the "electromagnetic detection" station appeared to be in the arctic?
  13. Stay Crap. I cant stand movies that occur "all in the head" of the protaganist.
  14. At 22 pages and 331 posts, its just common sense at this point. Eko sure seems to be unraveling at a fast clip. Im really interested to see where his story goes. Also, I thing we will see Desmond in the finale. Be cool to see where he dissapeared to.
  15. Psst, Ill let you in on a closely guarded secret. This thread is full of spoilers.
  16. Michael is a rat bastard. "Boo hoo, you kept me tied to a pole for a few days, Ill do anything you want." Punk. Now that Sayid and Jack are onto him Im willing to bet he buys the farm in the finale. Unfortunately, he wont take one in the brainpan, it will be a slow death, wheezing and coughing, thats leaves just enough time to somewhat attone for his actions.
  17. Not too long ago they did an episode of Myth Busters on those mirrors. While they were able to start a fire on a close (under 100m away), stationary vessel, it was very small and not self sustaining.
  18. From babelfish: Glad I could help.
  19. I love that movie. "I got this medal for losing my eye in a paperclip fight."
  20. ^LOL, the faux bookcases crack me up. Was that rig set up in an alley or something?
  21. So Libbly didnt give up the fact Michael shot her and Anna Lucia before dying?
  22. O.M.F-in.G. My TiVo cut off right as Hurley walked in and said "can I talk to her?" What happened next and any good stuff in the preview for the season finale?
  23. What a stupid quiz.
  24. They sure are tight-lipped with this expansion, isnt it due out some time this year? I also find it a little odd that a demonic race would be in the Alliance camp. Oh well, guess Ill have to wait and see.
  25. Eredar, the demon-race of which Archimonde was a member. Cool, thanks for the link. Any info out there on racial traits for them?
