Technically, you do get kill xp, its just been renamed Beastiary xp. And I think it has diminishing returns but Im not 100% on that. Basically it functions as a poor mans ECL.

I will miss a Mordenkain's Sword spell. No doubt it was lumped in the "summons" category (read: too powerful) by Obs so its very unlikely to see the light of day even in the expansion.

Best game Ive ever played and pushed all my happy buttons. Epic powers, epic levels, epic battles... all wrapped up in my favorite rule system. It was glorious.
