I wonder what its like for most brand new players. If you vets don't fully understand, are the new people hopelessly lost? Or perhaps being "new" with fresh eyes and zero expectations allows an organic understanding of PoE rules and systems? My guess is most new players don't even realize when something has gone sideways and can brute force the main path regardless of build, understanding of systems, or bugs.

^Iirc, that's a "feature" and carries over to PoE2.

Yeah, I couldn't "get it" either with PoE 1 hence my lack of purchasing PoE 2. I fully accept the problem is me, but man, Obs is pretty much diametrically opposed to the things I like in gaming.

Well unless you are doing something menial I suppose. If your job is to mop the floor and youre a hella good floor mopper then I'm sure that's advantageous.

Do you use a realtor? When I was renting out my property, Century 21 iirc, would charge 10% of whatever the rent was + all repairs and they would do everything from vetting the tenants to calling in the plumber. For me it was totally worth the cost to not have to do any of that and to be honest, I just jacked the rent up to cover the cost of the their services.

I hadnt bothered to go to the dentist for *cough20yearscough* and needed to get some work done on a tooth, and let me tell you, it felt like I went through a time warp. I needed a crown too but it would take a week or so to be made so in the meantime he literally fashioned a tooth out of this putty like substance, put some yellow lens safety glasses on me and grabbed a wand which illuminated the putty in a blue laser for ~8-10 seconds and BOOM, the tooth was done. Fully hardened and ready for chewing almost instantly. I'm so old I actually have "silver amalgam" in some other fillings but the stuff a modern dentist can do was just short of wizardry to me. I was honestly flabbergasted.
