Update #67: What's in a Game?
Galomtala replied to BAdler's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Announcements & News
I enjoyed the update, please give us more secret insights. But please, no Game Launcher. I mean, how often do you have to run the setup or to deinstall a game, but every time you want to start the game, you have to make an extra click.- 126 replies

I want a nice quiet barn with sheep in the backlands -
I thought so too, but in the comments to the "outta space lady", he says: ~Brenze Feb 27, 2010 nope. can't say any more than that But maybe there are from different games.

I wonder if these images from Brian Menze are from Backspace. Or was there an other canceled Sci-Fi game concept?

They will use an DOS-emulator (my guess is DosBox, maybe with some special tweaks) to run these games on modern OS.You will get the original version from back then.

It's nice to have full touchscreen support. So I can play SRR without a mouse on my Win8 tablet / Ultrabook. And I liked what I've seen so far.

Fulfilment site?
Galomtala replied to CrazyPea's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
But how does Obsidian know how much of the Kickstarter money have to spend on the physical Tiers / shipping without the fulfillment site? Darren said: -
Dirt 3. It looks nice, the races are fun and challenging and I got it cheap (summer sale ) but you have to log in to "Games for Windows" to save your progress. I wasn't aware of this fact and I had to repeat the first 15 races . And I really hate the fact that you have to buy cars and courses with real €/$ to complete events. So it's worth the 5€ I spend but I don't think I'll play it very often.
