NFL 2014 Season
Don't get me wrong. I love a good cry. Just last month I had three in one night when I found out how old she really was. But I get the impression this Super Bowl experience is going for the jugular. The entire pre-game ... many of the commercials ... all of whom trying, some succeeding, in making me cry. Super Feels XLIX. C'mon West Coast ... punish the Colonials ...

The Funny Things Thread
What, c'mon, don't make me go there, I can't not investigate lingerie Sunday. Did you see that bear rug, it was massive, like a polar bear.

What you having for dinner tonight?
It's still the holidays, Super Sunday is like Christmas in February, so for elevensies it's hot cereal a la Malt O' Meal, sourdough toast, glass of milk, some happy thoughts. Threw some diced pear in with the cereal. I chose ... wisely.

Who else is disappointed with the game's battle music theme
ManifestedISO replied to constantine's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)There is no way a composer would spoil a beta build with the final cut of a piece of music.

Movies you've seen recently
Haha, continuity error. Wounded Nick Fury Jr. shows up in Steve Rogers' dark, empty apartment for reasons. Steve enters, after bantering with smoking-hot Emily Van Camp, until the camera shows him standing next to a wall with a double light switch, the flat panel rocker style, one in the off position, one on. He sees Nick, hits the switch--illuminating a table lamp next to Fury--who pulls the chain to shut it off, because Hydra is listening and watching. The next shot of Steve shows both switches in the same position as before. Obviously, Captain America must have used the Force to create a circuit. But the really important thing is, was the Punisher driving the moving truck during the chase sequence.

oops, not pepperoni, Mongolian beef. Some veggies. Happy sauce, in the 6.4% range. Superbowl weekend is my favorite. Incidentally, when it says use large skillet, nine inches is not big enough, which is the first time I've ever heard that complaint. It's more like 9.5" anyway.

I wish I could say I prefer Nice, with apertifs in Monte Carlo afterward. Speaking of whom, where is that guy. Tonight is pepperoni Friday.

For real, that was the most vivid, ominous post I've read here. Gonna clutch my beer a little more tightly, now.

What's on the idiot box... Part 3
Holy moly, Elementary, easily best cast performance since the series began. Script was off the hook.

Physical Goods
I know, I went t-shirt overboard with two black Obs and a Pillars. I've waited this long, whenever they get here, that's when I'll be excited. Also, playing cards?! From now on, only sober kickstartering. The Add-ons button is like crack, though.

What you did today
I don't know, good stuff happening makes me suspicious, I just have to pick it apart to analyze it piece by piece. Stuff can never be ''good'' as long serious doubts linger in the back of my mind. Me too, exactly, all the time. Good things usually are a portent of evil, I have always thought. Which is why I'm saying now, to hell with that. I want my life to be defined by accepting positive interactions, not the fear and uncertainty and doubt I'm so accustomed to sleeping with.

"Don't look a gift horse in the mouth." I take it you are a single person with no roommates? True, yes, how do you know, is it obvious ... do married people change their DNA when exchanging rings, or something.

I had chicken hearts once on a Brazilian kabob stick thing. It was sweet, kinda, very small, not super satisfying. Never tried chicken liver. Tonight I'm not sure what to have. It's my sis's birthday, far away in UT, so we started our happy hour at the same time for fun, cause she's rad, but idk, maybe Campbell's Philly Cheesesteak soup. It's not bad, really.

Cheatcodes for Project Eternity
Don't know about cheat codes, but this necro thread OP avatar has me slightly mesmerized. Feels like she's looking back, right at me, sorry to have let me go, forced to be with that guy only because he drives a nicer car.

Character Names
I don't know how, or why, but they just come to me. Really great character names, unique, dynamic, interesting. It's like they're already alive and they whisper who they are. Usually six to eight letters, good mix of vowels and consonants, plus setting-appropriate and generally mysterious and/or intriguing. It's like I'm a vessel channeling exceptional monikers.
