  1. Never owned a tablet. Maximum mobility for me would be reading this forum on the way to the fridge. Several hundred dollars seems extravagant in that regard. Maybe if the pretty ladies thread was still a viability.
  2. That's only twenty percent borrowed on total value of personal residence, amirite. I sense you're doin' one or two things correctly. And GD, you have a quiet tenacity that won't quit, I'm sure you'll blow **** up in due time.
  3. Such dedication, perseverance. Thank you. Please go home before 8:30pm so you have time to make a burrito and watch Agent Carter.
  4. Evidently there is a phenomenon wherein large glass containers may be purchased, consumed, returned, and refilled at local establishments. A growler, is the most current name. How do I feel about this method, I can't be sure, as I have only previously repeatedly returned to the grocery store to replenish 12oz twelve-packs just to see the super cute checkout girl. I didn't see any super cute brewer/enabler girls at the brewery establishment, although it was merely Monday. Will confirm at a later date. Filled with License to Kilt, scotch ale, 8.4% ABV ...
  5. Who cares. Katy Perry killed it.
  6. Is it arrogance? The one person I know who walks runways is so strangely fearless that I see why it might be construed as over-wrought confidence. She's not arrogant in her heart, though, she's the most down-to-earth soul I've met, born with an unnatural ability to withstand and even thrive under total scrutiny. Not me, I wilt and cower and trip over potted plants trying to escape anything resembling a camera phone pointed at me.
  7. ... I take it you don't refer to your entire estate as "I"? So sorry for the confusion. I work with my hands. I feel pretty fancy. Occasionally possibly almost dandy. It gives me strong forearms and a confidence I have yet to find for sale anywhere.
  8. Had the best time at a new place on the Coast Highway. Next time y'all come to Oceanside, this is where we're going. Could be the best atmosphere anywhere ... four separate bars with forty+ taps, on-site brewery with seating to drink and watch the brew brewing, two levels with a rooftop and (partial) ocean view, superb kitchen ... all brand new, just opened six months ago. Michael approves. That last one is my BFF and his saison and my cream ale. We opened the place at 11am today, hahahahaha. Dude splurged and bought me a growler of their scotch ale, my favorite. Had the best fish tacos, Matthew ate a cuban sandwich, and even the salsa selection with the chips and salsa was fantastic ... guac, verde, fresca, picante ... delicious. Chris was our bartender, great guy. Seriously come visit, you'll love it.
  9. No doubt, rubbers aren't cheap. There was one time I came this close to acquiring a worn-out left-rear from a Ferrari Enzo. I happened to be in downtown Salt Lake City when I saw that car being driven on the streets, right into the dealer service area--so I parked, told my girlfriend to walk home,* and went up to the sidewalk in front of the garage. For an hour, I lurked outside while they fiddled with that car, raising the engine hood, tuning it and testing it while making the most glorious noise, and fitting new tires. I actually had the nerve to approach Mr. Losee and offer to buy one of the old now-slick tires. He politely declined, citing availability, and I thanked him anyway for driving the balls out of such a rare machine. Less than 350 were ever made. * no, not really, of course I would never be rude to a female. I called her a taxi. Oh, right, I'm being told Ferrari built an additional fifty after demand for the Enzo far-surpassed the original production plan of only 349 units.
  10. I'm off tomorrow, I'll pound that china clean if you let me smoke a set of rears in the Buick.
  11. Marshawn would have become a well-spoken effusive dignified ambassador of the sport had the final play gone as it should have.
  12. I saw the Robert Palmer on my birthday, 1988, Symphony Hall, SLC. Was I old enough to know what being addicted to love meant, no.
  13. Try hunting endlessly for element zero and see how rewarding the morality system is, idk.
  14. Thank god my vice is drinking and not gambling.
  15. You guys didn't see the dragon's note at the top of the forum. Read it and understand.
  16. Don't get me wrong. I love a good cry. Just last month I had three in one night when I found out how old she really was. But I get the impression this Super Bowl experience is going for the jugular. The entire pre-game ... many of the commercials ... all of whom trying, some succeeding, in making me cry. Super Feels XLIX. C'mon West Coast ... punish the Colonials ...
  17. What, c'mon, don't make me go there, I can't not investigate lingerie Sunday. Did you see that bear rug, it was massive, like a polar bear.
  18. It's still the holidays, Super Sunday is like Christmas in February, so for elevensies it's hot cereal a la Malt O' Meal, sourdough toast, glass of milk, some happy thoughts. Threw some diced pear in with the cereal. I chose ... wisely.
  19. Aw, jeez, Junior Seau in the Hall of Fame his first year of eligibility, only the seventh linebacker to do so.

  23. There is no way a composer would spoil a beta build with the final cut of a piece of music.
  24. I'm so frickin' happy for you, Wold, you're going to love her, I just know it.
