  1. Keep it up people (I mean if you feel PE deserves a good rating). Already a 0.2 increase from last night/day/morning.
  2. Yes that is lame but you can write your first impressions after having played 10 hours or so and acknowledge this in your review. As others have already mentioned, people are reading reviews now and if we want to help PE sell it's now or never, in my opinion. 10/10 BEST GAME EVAH reviews can be lame but they are nothing compared to 0/10 WORST GAME EVAH reviews, especially when obviously this is not the case (however best game evah might not be too far from the truth).
  3. Yeah I checked some of the reviewers who gave it a zero and turns out they tend to do that to every game they "review". But we should have the numbers on our side this time and it only takes a minute to subscribe to Metacritic and do the good deed of the day.
  4. So the game is out and it has received universal acclaim from critics and good user scores too. However, some people like to troll and give P(e)O 0/10... Not cool in my opinion. All I'm saying is that if you feel the game is good, visit Metacritic and give PE the score it deserves. I know I did. I'm not too keen on metacritic user scores but Obsidian deserves better than zeros and I really want PE to sell well and some people value metacritic user scores so you get the picture. Anyway, gotta get back to Eora!
  5. I'm so happy, f*** yeaaaah! Good reviews=sales=Pillars of Eternity 2=win. Go Obsidian!
  6. Do you happen to know if the copies, which were bought as addons after kickstarter but as a kickstarter backer include the exclusive kickstarter bonuses? In other words, I have the physical copy and the digital copy from backing during kickstarter, which will include the bonus kickstarter item and on top of this one copy bought as an addon, which will probably not include the bonus KS item but naturally it includes the pre-order items (piglet and ring). Just wondering and rambling
  7. Thanks Sensuki for sharing your PoE story and a big thank you for your contribution in general. Also it's nice to hear that you are feeling more positive about the game Hopefully you will still enjoy PoE after all the hours you've put into the beta. Hats off to you!
  8. I believe it is the same as the Royal edition and both keys come with the pre-order bonuses. However, I've been thinking that if I now buy an extra digital download of the game, will I receive kickstarter in-game achievement and item to that addon also or only to the copies I bought during kickstarter (physical copy and extra key)? Also, this might be a stupid question, but will the physical copy include some kind of achievements?
  9. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Total War: Rome 2 on PC and NHL 14 on PS3.
  10. They sure do look amazing! But somehow I doubt that MCA will draw a stick figure to every single signed box I could be wrong though.
  11. Ok, no problem. Hopefully the developers will clear things up. I wonder if the afore mentioned books will have overlapping in terms of content ie. art, lore etc.
  12. AND we'll get spiffy notepads, right? 8D! This decision by Obsidian/Paradox is very questionable. As others have mentioned before, a dice or anything else really, would be better in my opinion. I tend to agree with Obsidian on most of the matters concerning the development of PoE but notepads? But as I said, it's just my opinion. Maybe I'll fall in love with the notepads cuz they're so super cool. And regarding Dartbord's question, check out this: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/69663-poe-guidebook-available-for-preorder/page-2. I was baffled also. Also it says on Amazon about the PoE Prima Official Guide that ""“Thank You” Section— includes the printed names of over 4,000 customers who helped fund the development of the game via Kickstarter.com. Each of these ‘backers’ will be presented with an offer to buy the guide."" I'd like to know more about this, maybe the developers could shed some light on the matter.
  13. Very much appreciated Ark Evensong, thank you for the clarification! It says on Amazon that "“Thank You” Section— includes the printed names of over 4,000 customers who helped fund the development of the game via Kickstarter.com. Each of these ‘backers’ will be presented with an offer to buy the guide." Any info on that? I would very like to purchase the book and I remember reading somewhere that we, as backers, would be eligible for a discount.
  14. Ok, so let me get this straight: The Pillar's of Eternity Guidebook Volume One by DARK HORSE is not included in any of the backer rewards, right? However, the Collector's Edition Strategy Guide aka Pillars of Eternity Collector's Book aka Pillars of Eternity: Prima Official Game Guide by PRIMA GAMES is included for backers (for example $250 tier)? Oh man, I'm confused. It says in in my order summary "Hardcover full color Pillars of Eternity Collector's Book" and in update 90: "Prima Games - Collector's Edition Strategy Guide" and in update 89: "Pillars of Eternity Collector's Book" and goes on to say: "As we've announced previously, we partnered with Dark Horse to bring you the Pillars of Eternity Collector's Book. Where the Prima Strategy Guide will be your go-to companion for all your walkthrough and strategy needs, the Collector's Book is there to satisfy the most hardcore lore enthusiasts. Whether your pledge included a physical copy or a digital copy, the Collector's Book is something we're sure you'll be happy with. We're very proud of it and we think Dark Horse did an amazing job bringing it to life." Soooo... It seems I should be getting the PoE Guidebook by Dark Horse after all and NOT the PoE Prima Official Guide by Prima Games. I am genuinely confused.
  15. Now it says "Order online and we’ll ship when available (15 April 2015)." and also "Published 15 April 2015". Now the speculation begins: is Poe delayed again?
  16. I also want to add that PoE looks very good, in fact better than I hoped. Cartoony games can be enjoyable but I like the realistic style more. Good job! I'm sure the final product will look superb. edit: I want to add that I do like the looks of Baldur's gate too
