Well, obviously. Maybe we should just assume they'll do romances for you people to enjoy but not make the core of the plot revolve around it, and then we can all shut up about this bloody topic. Heh. If romances are in - fine. If the devs think romances won't add anything to the game or take too much time to write properly or whatever and create something else e.g rivalries, revenge etc. that is also fine by me. It's all good. However, I do hope we'd get an official statement (when OE knows which direction they're going to take) about the topic so (some) people could move forward and use their time for something else... maybe something more constructive?

Does a good ("epic") item have to be magical? Nope.

It'll be very interesting to see how the devs will handle this romance issue.

I hope magic weapons and armor are rare and unique. Materials should matter. I am curious how the devs will handle the distribution of magical items because there are 59 backers who get to design an epic high level weapon, armor or artifact. "One of the best in the game"... Quite a few epic items I'd say plus all the items Obsidian will design! Maybe they'll all be in a store or something but that'd be a little cruel. But I trust in OE

Eight is enough but one NPC per class would be perfect. However, I trust Obsidian knows what's best for this project. Maybe they won't announce every NPC before the release and everybody will be surprised once we get the game. One can hope

The way I see it, this is the most sensible way to go. Romantics will get their fair share but non-romantics won't be missing out on anything (except romances )

Oh dear... I wouldn't want be in Obsidian's shoes when deciding whether to include "romances" or not. Someone is going to be upset anyway. I trust in Obsidian but I hope there's some kind of flirting (or more) going on because in my opinion that's how people work and immersion is good for you.
