So, here's hoping for a Minsc like Character!
I liked Sis and her... protectee? in Alpha Protocol, was really a shame they cut part of her content.

What will the real name be?
Read in Don Lafontaine's voice: -revolutions -redemption -the next generation -crossfire -renegade -payback -behind enemy lines -apocalypse -destiny -revenge -the reckoning -reloaded yeah... pass on the clichéd subtitles. A subtitle should only be used if the name is so generic that a google search would show up something else.

Jayne from firely. Excellent character, completely believable, yet stands out.

Planets, Space & Satellites don't exist
poe's law indeed. Satelites do orbit the earth, so clearly your premise cannot be correct. Tell me, which is more likely: 1. You are wrong, your community's desire to believe in something despite evidence to the contrary has given rise to a crisis in faith with they hope to solve by ignoring the offending evidence as blasphemous. 2. MOST of the world's scientific community, governments and engineering community are all part of a HUGE conspiracy involving MILLLIONS of people, of whom NOBODY EVER broke the silence (of all those millions of people, not a single one had ever a crisis of conscience and decided "this is wrong, I should tell the truth!") All in order to convince you that the world is round and space exists. Many of them do believe in god, so it couldn't be intended to disprove god. (can't prove a negative anyway.) Ignoring the question of why so many people would lie, hold on to that lie, tell me, how did they manage to maintain it so successfully that most people believe it, that independent tests confirm it, and that everyone can observe it, with basic tools or just basic observation skills. Have you ever heard of Occam's razor?

Jeremy Soule?
"Epic" wouldn't describe Soule's work at all. Soule aims more for relaxing tunes. To relax and relieve stress from a long period of time playing the game. Many games fail on doing too bombastic themes. Baldurs gate is actually a good example. the epic music in the background while I was rolling a character. The music was telling me "You are locked in an EPIC struggle of the ages!" while the screen was telling me numbers and stats. I liked the work Soule did for guild-wars, particularly eye of the storm.

Sawyerism Distilled - an interview with Josh Sawyer at Iron Tower Studio
Good interview! I like most of what I'm hearing, except the part of it being combat heavy. I like my combat in moderation. (Baldurs Gate II was about right, if they dropped the random encounters to an all time low)

What if Project Eternity becomes Project Fail?
The risk of failure is present in any endeavour. It can happen. I will grieve and move on. Things sometimes fail, but I'm not going to base my life on what might go wrong.

I'm hoping PE rekindles my CRPG love...I feel fatigue
Because waiting for a cooldown timer is better than replenishing abilities at will? With a chance of getting kicked in the teeth by randomly spawning enemies? hell yes. also, better pacing. That will still happen when you rest to regain health. Nothing changes except now there will be two mechanics to replace what was formerly done with one. that's what I'm saying. the rest mechanic is inferior to the cooldown mechanic.Edit: but that's not really the topic of this thread.

The Mega Dungeon and consequence
it shouldn't be mandatory, it should be interesting enough that it doesn't have to be mandatory for me to want to play it.

I'm hoping PE rekindles my CRPG love...I feel fatigue
These types of games involve strategy and luck, well the luck part applies in the beginning when you are low levels. But once you start winning combat, gaining levels and understanding the gameplay the sense of achievement is unparalleled compared to modern RPG. So keep it up Oh I didn;t give up. obviously. (I paid for this game damnit! I'm finishing it!)I went back an hour later. finished the encounter. (which was really easy because this time drizzzt helped out.) got frustrated elsewhere, quit again. combat I think is the least interesting thing in an RPG, it's not where I get my enjoyment. And having to rest every half a minute makes me glad that PE is doing it differently.

I'm hoping PE rekindles my CRPG love...I feel fatigue
I'm playing BG:EE which is my first time playing Baldurs Gate (did play the sequel) And I got to say, today I forgot to quicksave every 20 paces, so when I got in combat and lost a good size of my party, I had to go back quite a bit. Fine. So I did, then I quicksaved, quicksaved again, and then got to another encounter, which I made, but which cost me some health which meant that I couldn't win the encounter I was travelling back towards. So I rested, got interrupted during rest, beat some gnolls, rested, interrupted again. skin of my teeth made it, rested again, and got interrupted again. /ragequit. Edit: I guess I could have loaded up on potions more, but when so much of your characters' power is based on gear, you save your money for the non-consumables.

USA and EU: Masks dropped!
That's the argument I often hear. and I think it's bull****. Do you think it's significantly different to administrate for 17 million (Netherlands) as it is for 300 (US)?After a certain point it just doesn't matter anymore. The difference between South Africa and Denmark that is important is not one of demographics, but of policy. Like Sun Tzu said

Eating Cats, Dogs, Rats, Reptiles...
The only reason people don't eat these animals is because of some societal conditioning to thing of them as unclean. it's nonsense. insects, rats, dogs, reptiles, bring it on. As long as there are people alive who know how to prepare them, I'm game.

Full Looting
Harvest anything and everything you want, but with limited inventory space you'll have to make choices as to what you think is worth looting.

Unusual terrain and architectural features you'd like to see?
Ooh, time to get creative I'd enjoy a fair bit of otherworldy things to give PE a unique flavour. Floating castles. (still hoping for the endless paths to be a floating dominant landscape feature) Mushroom forests. (though, that can easily be done wrong) craters with unique ecosystems. Underground rivers in the desert (with the occasional surface breaking) A labyrinth within a city, hidden in the slums Floating islands (maybe not original, but I still like em) over the city. A open bar (like you'd find on the beach in tropical tourist places) in the middle of a savannah (because of the uncanny) waterslide highways Rooftop gardens really there is so much that could be done, to give the world a unique and otherworldy flavour.
