Apparently Garrett will be "less gothic" in the new Thief What could have been more gothic than the new design which consists of black leather, completely white skin, and stitch-work that reminds me of Catwoman in Batman Returns? Dear lord- What are you playing now?
I felt the whole of Wings of Liberty (and thus the expansions in turn) were only meant, storywise, as world-building in anticipation of a MMO. After all, already in WoL they scaled down from the "epicness" they always seemed to aim for, to tell a much more personal story which did not call for a "And you have vanquished all your enemies. Everyone is dead Jim. But once we make a sequel we'll have to figure out how to bring people back to life." I think they are trying to make a more gradual evolution in the story towards the MMO type world with the required loads of factions, locations etc than what they did with Frozen Throne. These are some of the many reasons why I'm scared they are shooting for an MMO. Hmm... wouldn't a Starcraft MMO increase the chances of eventual Warcraft 4? They'd probably want to keep both the RTS market and MMO market, not have 2 MMOs that would cause Activision to cannibalize its profits- What are you playing now?
- Torment: Tides of Numenera?
How much less overt is it when the pitch video spends more time name-dropping Obsidian's/Black Isles's old titles and talking about the kickstarter publishing model than the game itself? You talk about Torment not trying to sell itself with its premise while Project Eternity had practically none! Heck, with all the Infinite Engine game screenies they used, I expect some people to get their jimmies muy rustled if anything is different I now know more about Torment and its right to have its name than I knew about Project Eternity several weeks into the Kickstarter.- Torment: Tides of Numenera?
*sigh* Tell me... did you back Project Eternity by any chance?- EA lives in a different reality
El Presidente, SimCity's current predicament wasn't just an elaborate plan to promote your week-long Tropico sale on Steam, was it?- Amazing Kickstarter project which have been released so far.
The Giana Sisters had a part of its budget ($150k) supported by Kickstarter Though I guess that doesn't really make it a "Kickstarter game"- Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues
Someone just pointed out something funny about the tiers on another forum. Ctrl+F the Kickstarter page, and use either the words "Physical" or "Box". See what's missing?- Torment: Tides of Numenera?
The example would be more fitting if Planescape: Torment didn't have that name, but rather "Planescape", or "Sigil" Dividing the scenarios of "spiritual sequel to PST", and having the word Torment in it, is bloody arbitrary- Torment: Tides of Numenera?
They are using nigh identical design philosophy! THEY MAKE ME PHYSICALLY ILL! Screw you inXile, you made me vomit all over my keyboard! This happened last time when Creative Assembly made Empire: Total War after Shogun: Total War! *HURGH*- What are you playing now?

I'd like to know this too. Btw, the kid was pretty funny in his publisher role- Torment: Tides of Numenera?
GOG's best-sellers list would agree with ya. Planescape: Torment is #2 and only BG2 managed to beat it- What are you playing now?

None of you will sleep tonight http://www.destructoid.com/why-are-the-new-teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-so-ugly--247822.phtml- Torment: Tides of Numenera?
Especially considering how gorgeous the Numenera art has been. Then again they might surprise us and make this beautiful, bizarre 3D environment for us to rest our eyes on- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!
Crytek: Closed Singleplayer Must Go aka "Cevat Yerli (Crytek CEO) promotes Crytek's upcoming social platform Gface"- What are you playing now?
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [2014]
Well, got some Witcher 3 music for y'all! (the first one is a bit generic imo)- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt [2014]
A problem with my choice of words. I don't generally like to cheat past censorship (can I turn it off in options?), but the word I really meant to use was "coc.ky". You do remember their (less than?) subtle jabs at Bioware during the various Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition interviews, right? Or their open distaste for publisher interference and control? Their PR and interviews have for a while had this air of "Not only will our game be better than yours, we also have far better business ethics" And I like that attitude.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS!
