Wtf is this? Am I supposed to feel sad or something?

Is this a moment of damned if u do and damnedbif u don't?Is this about prices or is it about a availability in certain countries (censorship comes to mind of the last one while different currencies for the other) Well the equivalent for our US friends, would be, if Valve would decide to set price on Steam e.g. Call of Duty in California at 60USD and in Ohio at 70USD. And would block all Ohio inhabitants to purchase the game in California. The same is happening all the time in Europe, and European Commision has decided some time ago, that they would want to enfore one digital market with same prices across all EU countries. This Valve investigation is in accordance to this goal. I thought the whole region lock was because of censorship laws in certain countries though? So everyone in the EU uses the euro and no other currency? For example let's use Germany and the South Park stick of truth. In Germany due to their censorship laws, they can only sell a certain censored game in Germany but in Spain they can sell the reg game. Some one Germany could not buy the Spanish game because since steam sold them a copy that goes against their laws, steam would be fined. So if each country has different censorship laws, then that's on the EU fault for not having the same product go to everyone. The prices I don't get why and I do believe that needs to change but I don't know the reason why. They may have a good reason but most likely they don't. I am interested as well in what happens. **** the EU if they mess up my steam though, **** them in the ass.

Why do we care about the commercials though?

You know, I'd most likely be a democrate if it wasn't for all this apologizing and these sissy wankers. It seems on the ideals I relate more with them but I like the attitude of the republicans more so. Democrates-balls in a purse Republicans-balls zipped out swinging openly like they just don't care

This is a ridiculous apples to oranges argument but ok, let's deal with it. In terms of science and technology Islam has contributed FAR more than you could possibly imagine. Algebra is Arabic in origin, YOU COUNT IN ARABIC NUMERALS! While Europe (and thus christianity) was going through a regressive dark ages, the Islamic states were flourishing beacons of culture and innovation. Byzantium became the Islamic Ottoman Empire which has been credited as one of the outstanding actors in politics of it's era. The only reason that Europe had a resurgence was because a whole bunch of people died, meaning that serfdom (which was reinforced by the church as the "Divine Right of Kings") was no longer a viable system of government. Even then the only reason they really got far ahead was because the European governments were funding (via governments) expeditions to the new world and to the Far East. If China had decided to keep it's naval program going, we'd all be following Confucian values rather than Abrahamic ones. "What's going on in the Middle East" isn't strictly due to Islam or any particular faith. It's a quagmire of faith and history that consumes everyone within it because there are at least four different faiths and ethnic groups that claim the same plot of land as "theirs" leading to conflict. Even if you decided to point specifically at Islam, the elements we hear about are simply the loudest and most extreme forms of it. Like if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint's fundamentalist arm got all Militant and decided to start fighting a war with the USA and managed to take most of the western interior. I don't think you'd appreciate being lumped in with those polygamous jerks or being subjected to heavy levels of scrutiny and suspicion just because you happened to exist within 1000 miles of the primary point of conflict. And if you're saying that somehow the American Governmental Apparatus is not constantly being pushed to specifics from Christian Laws, consider how many times our political leaders have attempted to declare that God will save our soldiers, or that we need to have the Ten Commandments (something specific to Christianity and Judaism) on our offices of government. That we just had an entire legal fight between the right wing of the population and the government because a doink in Kentucky refused to issue marriage certificates due to her religious beliefs. You're not "Swallowing it" if every time somebody merges the two you fight tooth and nail to prevent the separation. The issue right now with the ban is that it's lumping everyone from those states in with Bad Actors with no real purpose. Of that list how many are actually involved in an open Conflict? Iraq and Syria? Maybe Lybia? (I need to brush up on my mid east) but I know Iran isn't currently involved in an open conflict within it's own borders, nor is Pakistan. Right now much of Trump's policy decisions are being made as if he were a new CEO rather than a President. Get rid of all the old guys and bring in your own people, make a few drastic changes to prove "I'm in Charge!" and reorg the upper echelon to suit what you believe to be the most efficient organizational structure. Thing is Trump is a ****ty business man and it was proven previously when he had several failed businesses fall out from under him and had declared bankruptcy several times. But his ego and him speaking so loud lends credence the "Big Lie" idea (paraphrasing Mien Kamph Vol I Ch. X) "If you make a big simple lie, and keep saying it, people will believe it" because everyone now assumes that he'll make the Economy work for them again just because he's been "Successful in business". I'ma gonna stop because I need to sleep for tomorrow and I'm rambling. Thumbs up, thank you for that (no sarcasm) Two things then (this is a rant) 1. Looking at our political climate, it looks like soon that America will be seeing our dark ages soon seeing how the 2 biggest political parties are screening it up for everyone with philosophy's. 2. I even stated that christians are influencing the laws, BUT would u agree that u DONT have to be a Christian to make laws and influence how this country is going? Also would u agree that the ME is having a huge problem because they cannot do the same?

PoE2 shoulda waited for tax time because I'm broke af and hopefully if still running, will back when I get taxes. Otherwise sadly I'm gonna have to contribute by preordering

Ben, lets give a realllllll simple example. Christianity did some horrible things like the crusades and the witch hunts. BUT when a bunch of christians formed a country, we get America who is the founding example of the world in human rights and technology and business practices. As an Irish man who family came to America as slaves, slaves doesn't hold a "omg ur evil!" feel to me, you know why? I want you to name me just 1 empire that didn't have slaves. Islam has been out for just as long as Christianity and have they progressed anywhere near what we have in America? Why is a such a nation that was founded on Christianity progress so much farther and isn't in the dark ages still? Because we had the knowledge to keep religion away from government. That doesn't mean that there haven't been any christians in our govt to influence our laws and practices, it means that you don't HAVE to be Christian to influence our laws and practices. We swallow things that goes against the faith. If what's going on in the Middle East is due to Islam practices, then dammit it's the problem. The ME is trying to practice a theocracy and rejects going against Islam thru violence and hate. It's a problem because they WONT separate the religion from government and laws. **** sake, sharia law you allow is doing exactly that, keeping religion and government together. So please tell how that is not a problem. Islam by itself is not a problem, it's the separation of govt and religion that is and you in favor of sharia law is continuing the damn problem. Of course u can explain why keeping religion and government together is such a great idea and not a problem. Also the report of the refugee drowning and people getting pissed about not jumping in......has any ever taken life guard classes? That's a ****ing horrible idea if ur not trained and even if you ARE trained because in most cases the person drowning freaks out and causes whoever trying to help to drown as well. That's why u throw **** at them and get them floating then rescue them, otherwise ur causing more people to be in danger.

Here's something that I think is missing from a lot of reports, what countries exactly did the people who have attacked America and American institutes go and travel and be influenced/trained/indoctrinated/supplied visit?

who woulda thought that the image of gun loving gun toting citizens in a country that holds the 2nd amendment just as highly (if not more so with quite a few people than the 1st) would have a psychological effect on people outside our country lol.

Pros and cons of California. If California seceded from America, I'd imagine they'd have a very hard time. First off, the jobs there are American jobs and a lot of the tech would be considered American. Very good possibility they'd have to start from scratch or else everything they are currently working on would result in a massive landslide of being sued. Then from scratch, they'd have to find their roads, wouldn't have access to snap and all those goodies, the tolls going INTO California and such. TBH I don't think they would have it as good as they think they would. Course could be wrong as I have been many of times before.

Is it though? Mexico is our 3rd biggest trading partner and they are in the hole of 60 billion towards us....by those numbers, it sounds like we are better to not trade towards them if we are in the hole and trying to get out. What's the point of trading if the other one is paying and instead putting it on a tab. I also realize the irony since we are trillions in the whole with china. Maybe it's best of China did the same towards us. Mexico pays what they owe and USA pays what we owe to china and we stop borrowing. If u ain't got the money then don't spend. That goes towards us as well.

While I don't agree with it, I do think they have the right for these protests. Granted I think these protests are just a huge hissy fit and a way to throw a tantrum BUT hell everyone needs to vent. i don't actually believe these protests were actually designed to DO something other than vent, otherwise sadly either the participants aren't very bright in protesting AND/OR the media on ALL sides just chose to focus in on all the circus acts of venting. I mean really, time and a place. I'd dare say that the scientist march would get more accomplished for their cause than the women's march for the simple fact of WHO they are mad about for not winning....seriously lol, a wife of a rapist. The hypocrisy has been strong on all sides lol, myself included.

what Obama tried to do was take away the states right to chose to do or not something they had the right to decide. Sanctuary cities on the other hand is something a state does not have power to have and it goes against Federal law.Obama tried to force states to do things they had the right to chose to do. Trump is trying to force states to stop doing something they do NOT have the right to do. States dont have right to receive degrees of Federal funding and Trump has a right to just take it away? Did you read the link I posted? What you saying is not what New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says " he said in a statement that Trump lacked the authority to take away funding from cities and states " There is a whole section underneath this in the article that clarifies this that I cant paste , please read the link below so you are familiar with the point. https://twitter.com/AGSchneiderman/status/824362523529007104/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Which is false. Good example, in the 60s the government pulled and refused funding to cities that did allow segregation in schools. Here in my home state of NC, the govt can legally if they chose to pull funding from our education because of the issue of transgender bathrooms. Also we have to address the elephant in the room. The govt CAN pull funding for sanctuary cities BUT u have to realize that states come up and have their own funding. States can do their own thing against federal law. Federal law is the overlapping laws of the land whereas states have the right within their own rights to chose to obey or disobey a federal law by making one of their own. states can make laws in some areas superseding federal such as legalizing weed and gay marriage but federal can make laws superseding state laws such as immigration and war and such. So to keep a balance and cooperation between federal and states is funding. Illegal Immigration is a federal level which states have to bow down to. Cutting funding is more of a quick jab to show u are ready to fight and if u do fight, ur resources are gonna be limited.

Ow yes they keep getting better but returns is a tricky one. It's a great game IF u play it first before the others, otherwise dragonfall and Hong Kong just kept improving without going backwards (debateable I know for Hong Kong with the matrix but I liked it) and if u play returns after those it doesn't seem all that great because HK and DF are the same game as SR but just with a lot of improvements.

So basically these centers set up around the world wouldn't lose a cent that's being sent to them.....if they stopped doing abortions. With the chart showing abortions at one of the very least things that are done, it doesn't really effect as many people if u just stopped doing that service right? Do abortions for the very few. u lose ALL funding. Don't do abortions on the few, u don't lose any money. Tough times, I really don't see this as such a big deal.

I'll be honest, I didn't read the link. I've stopped clicking CNN stuff so i don't help them with amount of clicks something gets. What I will say is that I agree with ur sentiment, one of the biggest problems we had in obama and during the election was having is the "alternate facts" shoved as "actual facts". The way I could see Trump actually succeeding better is to actually use "actual facts" instead of alternate facts. It would be easier to show if anything being manipulated and even give him an extra "I don't give a **** if u get offended" vibe that a lot of people like and on top of that would make the media look even worse if they continued on. Accept ur flaws and defeats (ur in office so **** them) and be proud of ur achievements that ARE achievements. Him and his people being honest and straight forward will indeed continue to piss people off BUT just maybe just maybe, this could be a way to reign in and force the media to use more blunt and honest tactics. Because who would want evidence that Trump was more "honorable" than they are? Lol
-
So we are outta the TTP AND there's no penalty for not doing Obamacare? ****, 3 days in and that's mainly what all I wanted done. Ummm now what lol, I guess I can sit back and enjoy the show on how he acts and how the media will react. Will the no penalty be retroactive for 2016?
-
That is false. I'd dare say most of the world either doesn't care or actually thinks he will do good. But unfortunately you won't hear as much because the left has abandoned free speech and opposing ideas and instead barricade themselves into echo chambers to make themselves louder and to shout down, threaten, harass, and try to destroy anyone who has an opposing idea for since they are not enlightened and do not agree with the left, then the ONLY possible thing is that they must be stupid racist and if they ain't white, an enemy/traitor to their race..... You know the KKK and Jim Crowe tactics y'all have based ur tactics and ideas on are showing....you only hide the white sheets under ur skin instead of over.

For example Protections against employment discrimination isn't everywhere in same level as they are for other citizens. Ability to adopt a child as couple isn't everywhere in same level as they are for other citizens. Protections against denial of service isn't everywhere on same level as it is for other citizens. Very true and I will agree, but I will also say they are not alone in that situation suffering, that those same locations there are others that are suffering along with them. And to play devil's advocate, a lot of those cases are not cut and dry but are situational OR it is something else at fault but because we label things, it's so stead seen as the reason bc they are LGBT. Also something I believe and I maybe in the minority here, sometimes just because u have the freedom to do something doesn't mean that u will be able to simply because sometimes we don't "fit" but we do have the freedom of options. Reading and looking into a lot of "discriminations" (not counting real ones), a lot of these situations fall into this.
-
now that thankfully marriage for the LGBT is legal and has to be enforced (that actually fixes a lot of the rights they were denied), can u give me examples of some rights and protections they are denied? Protection? It's illegal to discriminate against them, it's illegal to harm/threaten violently because simply being LGBT rises the punishment to a higher level than if someone else got the same done to them, their rights supersede religious freedom (I'm glad this is actually done. Unfortuantly I do agree that in USA that the special privileges to go to certain people I believe to keep them lower class while helping them out but to "it's a trap!" them at a certain area/status because if they rise above it, they lose those "special" privileges.
-
What? Treating LGBT as regular citizens? The horror. I know right? "Do you want to be treated as an equal or do u want to be treated as special? If you are treated as an equal, then u won't be treated as if your special because your just like everyone else. If you are treated as special, then you won't be treated as if your equal because then your different and not like everyone else.
-
Also I thought the way it's set up down to the brass tax, "citizens" have the right to protest since it's one of the many perks of being part of the machine. If your not part of it, you "technically" don't have the same rights and privileges? I'm. It saying that non citizens can't protest, I'm saying that non citizens could very lawfully be shut down and denied the right whereas they could not lawfully do so with actual citizens?
