Mmmm knew about that one but at the time was turned off by the arch going against the story and was hoping for something like the LotR fellowship of the ring on Xbox type of following details etc. I might check this one out but I rather just have a game to play out the books. I know I'm a picky bastard. Did not know bout the Sony thing, thought that was over with since I heard about the TV show yearssssss ago it seems lol.

Looks like Britain will have another chance at free trade with China's silk road.

Silent Hill 1 was a ****ing masterpiece (to me), I have such fond memories of the game. Still have an emulator as well. Really want to play 2 again. Silent Hill 1 nailed Lovecraft horror while the second wasn't as scary as the first, it was more mind ****ery disturbing. Love them both for different reasons. Sigh really wish I could find the game somewhere for my PC or PS4

Scheduling myself days each week I can invest in ESO. On my off days playing pvz2 with my son and replaying Morrowind. Mainly trying to stay focused and beat the main story and house line as well as expansions (the tribuneral will all die). The game still amazes me after all these years.

Comey was NOT honest or forthright in Clinton emails. The reason why he is getting sacked is because of his biased actions. His first major blow was when he said Clinton did NOT send classified information and admitted she did use an unauthorized server but wouldn't punish her bc there I was no 'intent" to save Clinton'son's ass but WikiLeaks proved with actual untampered emails. Second blow was when he tried to save his image by shortly before elections that "new" stuff came up and was reopening the investigation on Clinton with the emails. He played the game and ended up tarnishing his reputation by being biased and protecting Clinton. When it was obvious to the public that the FBI was showing different standards to her than others in govt for sharing an using unauthorized servers, he tried to save his ass with the reopening. Comey was viewed as honest and forthright BEFORE the emails thing, but tarnished his reputation and his act of biased special treatment towards a Democrats, when your supposed to keep both parties in check, how trustworthy can he be so I agree he needs to go.

Unfortunately still dangerous as af down there. This wall seems like a blessing in disguise for the president down there because now the focus is on the wall and the amount of land that isn't controlled by the govt isn't in the spot light now.

Both right and left have BOTH been crying for censorship for years. Just usually in separate areas. They both technically correct though. Oro is correct because it's the left who has been crying about hate speech towards sexuality and the right is not known for doing the same on the same base grounds, usually u see the right as opponent or siding with the offender. Elrond is correct because I'll give an example of where for years right and left have had opposite views of censorship and that's religion. Left has opposed religion in work places and public areas such as 10 commandments in court houses, Christmas (nuff said), etc. Now the left is pushing for religion and the customs to be allowed in public areas such as Muslims religious garbs that are usually against work code and to pray openly with the right opposing. So yes elrond is right because now both sides are trading targets and tactics, and each is using the other sides method against them.

My friend trust me there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the EU, it is exactly as it always has been. Its an economic union and offers any country that is prepared to integrate into the single market real economic growth and sustainability You can ask our friends on this forum who claim not to like the EU but live in it what is wrong with the EU, the responses dont really make sense. People claim to " want their sovereignty " back......sovereignty ? Thats just a word that populists echo thinking it has meaning yet any country that really does leave the EU will find sovereignty doesnt mean much with a failed economy. The UK is an exception to this but they will also have to accept some tough economic times ahead until they have stabilized there new economy and trade deals But of course things sometimes go wrong and lessons need to be learnt, the initial well meaning offer around Germany and all the refugees was a mistake. You cannot force every country to welcome Muslims who come from Sharia countries and in some cases dont understand Western values so there have been issues around integration So I can understand real concerns around immigration..... I didn't say there was anything fundamentally wrong with the EU but that it is far from perfect just like u stated. The issue Ive been seeing that the EU needs to really work on is two things. First, is it an union specifically for economics or is economics is the underlying "reason" to enforce and change laws and social ideals? If is just economics, then the EU wouldn't have it's fingers and power to do what it does now. Right now, your okay with the more power it has than it should bc it's pushing Western values for competitive lower wage slaves, but what if instead it decides that to increase the "economy" it decides to not look west, but east and takes plays and influence from Putin? (Example of course), now because your okay with it having more power and influence than it should bc it's pushing what your okay with, when it decides to start pushing another direction you do not like, you have now made it harder to fix the problem. Second is so far the way it enforces policies that tbh it shouldn't be. Take the refugees, every member of the EU HAS to take in weither they like it or not and instead of looking at WHY and IF it's a problem (people not forced to integrate, different values not compatible, etc), instead of researching and putting a stiplilation on both the refugees AND the countries who take them in, instead "sob stories" were crammed down throats and if u had any objections or problems, your labeled a racist. I don't have a good view of the EU because as we in USA demostrated when Obama tried to force states in accepting and providing for refugees, we can turn it down (of course same EU tactics of being labeled racists didn't have the effect here since we use that term way more often then we even should) but the members of the EU didn't even have that option. The EU is in place and imho opinion has more power than it should, how bout trimming back some of that power. Another grip is with Brexit. They leave the union and instead of giving same deals that non members have, they want to make an example and make them worse off than non members, **** that if is just "economics".

Maybe instead of praising the EU all the damn time and letting problems go on because they are a necessary evil, maybe people should start asking for better nominees that will push to change and fix problems. So far it looks like the only candidates the EU countries have been pushing is between someone who wants things to continue as they are with no real goal to reform and someone who just wants to "cast off the shackles" completely with no real plan on how to do so or what they are going to do afterwards. In a few years if no changes are done and if continuing to favor new immigrants who DON'T integrate instead of favoring citizens who have integrated, say good bye to the EU because going by these elections, next time around, your gonna have more proEU switch ships. Just my guess

Fully agree lmao, the only thing I remember from my Spanish class in high school is my name, ellos, how are you, and some cuss words lol.

Loved history in school, I was the student who would read his history book for fun. Math was easy for me, either I had great teachers or I could just understand it. Science I did well thru osmosis and sleeping. As you all can tell English was my worse subject thru out school, even though I used to write all the time. Sad that I have such great hand writing but the grammar always sucks lol

I thinks more along the lines of not is there a cheaper and better health care system but a system that will go down in cost while quality rises. Like if Sweden health care system is better and cheaper than ours right now, but if they lower their costs in the future will the quality of health care still go up?

I know the ones I used was weak sauce cept cracker, they were used as examples. The thing is u can flip the word and instead of "damn there's a bunch of Whitey's in here" is acceptable, but "damn there's a bunch of darkeys in here" is not acceptable right? That's what makes it confusing because it seems like a double standard.

Are you not sure like I am because of a double standard in who is able to use the slurs? I mean we did just have a talk about someone who got fired because of "gorilla" and was labeled racist because it was taken in a way that means to belittle said person because of color, but honky, cracker, etc are also used to belittle someone because of being white but it's okay? Is this why we have such an issue with race because we can't agree to make everyone follow the same rules across the board?

Why not just be racial slurs (period, the end, nothing else). U can call someone cracker, whitey, wonderbread, etc and not be considered racist and all the negative consequences that come with it.

Of course, taking a look at median household income disparity by race reveals that the issue is somewhat more complex than "well white people can be poor, too, so checkmate SJWs". I have one problem with that and that it's based on MEDIUM because their is a huge difference in numbers of population. Another thing is all the info I can find doesn't have a total listing but a sample. I wish I could find something that had total population and the figures, figure the IRS would have something.

Here is my standard teacher example for this situation. In my classroom, equity is more important than equality. Everyone is going to enter the class at different levels. My goal is not to move each student forward individually, my goal is to drag as many of them across the finish line as possible. That means some students are going to get more attention. My advanced students will be expected to help pull some people along with them. That is how we work as a community towards a successful goal. The whole idea that we are broken into white and black communities is a major problem. It's a flaw as an American if you think it is not your problem that we have minority communities struggling with poverty, education, etc. It keeps our country from being Great Again, as our illustrious leader likes to say, because we are not succeeding as a whole. Now I am sure some people will read that and say it sounds like socialism or some other -ism, but in reality it is just about empathy. IM' not talking about policy at all, but actually trying to understand that we all have obstacles and it is both easier and decent when we work together to overcome them. I agree it is difficult because of generalization and the amount of different people. I think we separate them but fail to see that both sides are dealing with same problems just different looks. I'll give examples. Blacks have their ghettos and whites have there's but u call them trailer parks. You'll find both whites and blacks in each. Poor man deadly drug for blacks, it's crack. Poor man deadly drug for whites is meth. Both blacks and whites suffer poor and dangerous living conditions that are rampant with drugs. Both areas have atmosphere of despair and never leaving with both having low education in each. Also morals and ethics are low in each as well because there's more to gain and survivability. Hell when people say Jim Crow, they automatically think aggression towards blacks, but why does no one say or talk about alot of the same aggression towards poor people. It is very complex because u have the poor pitted against each other for years and then u have to take in account upbringing, locations, etc. One thing that both parties (and I would swing Democrat for alot of issues but not so much now) is trying to force and keep that wedge between. To much opposition that both sides and I'd date say the Democrats are taking the lead bc of HOW they are going about it. As to how to stop the racism part because its connected to other problems is I'd date say what Morgan Freeman would say https://youtu.be/z2d2SzRZvsQ

Also I'm surprised that here in murica we only talk about the black slaves and never mention the Irish and Chinese slaves....wait they are to close to white, that's why huh?

Are you saying it's okay for a race of people to be racist against another race of people so that a political party can still garner votes and support?

From the second paragraph, it seems like it's up to the employee and that it prohibits trying to stop someone from chosing more pay than the time.

I wouldn't say it is necessary. In many cases, authority is respected regardless of actual law. Take churches: very, very few will interrupt those speaking not because some law prohibits it, but people don't end up shouting. The reason for this is the "authority of the place", to speak so. An authority not attributed to a specific person (or even actually a specific place), but enshrined to certain types of places, protected by society and its norms. So I don't think that for most people, the existence or nonexistence of such a law change so anything about their behaviour. The only reason why in churches for the most part and in librarys I was quiet was because there was a punishment for not doing so. Why I was quiet in class, why I was respectful to old people and people of authority, there was always a consequence for not doing so. After time goes on, that knowledge of "something bad is going to happen if I don't do so" is at the core why alot of places and people I am respectful towards. It works and that's why I'm on the fence with this. With the circus that's replaced Barnes and Bailey circus here in USA, I can see things proceeding farther than they need to be, but how to do so? Fines for laughter I'm iffy about, because if it's allowed there, what's to stop it from happening elsewhere? What would be the appropriate type of deference instead?
-
Problem is, how do u make people respectful and/or quiet if it isn't law? Putting out there that I find this a wtf moment about being fined for laughter, only hoping it's a case of her history and someone finally having enough and doing something. But then again, it comes back to wtf are we fining people for laughter?
