I'd like an auto sort button in the inventory, also something needs to be done to help us identify which weapons are for what fights more easily. The deflection, dr, resolve, will, etc etc are confusing as butts in fights. The difficulty of the game is mostly just not knowing what weapons or spells to use against x baddie, and even having the bestiary filled out doesn't make much sense. I don't feel like even after 10 hrs in i understand how my stats affect my character or the fights. Also 2 camping supply's on hard is a lil too low. some dungeons have way more encounters than you have spells and theres too many baddies to fight without a bunch of super tanks or healers. Also loot drops feel a bit lackluster, I'm starting to get fine drops at lvl 4, but i've been playing like 9 hrs with starting weapons, not so fun.

Just shy of 38,000 actually, for total players on at one time according to steam earlier today. I'm not on my machine now to link the site, but it listed the game around lunch time pst time today with the highest total player's at once I've seen recently. For comparison Divinity:OS was ~22k ;-) not too bad for opening weekend, and that's not including gog...

I didn't see my name in the book, I haven't checked the credits yet, but I checked my real name and handle. Were you supposed to be at a certain tier cause I've been coming to the forum every single day since the kickstarter multiple times and I was surprised I wasn't there. Maybe I didn't pledge high enough though?

Pillars of Eternity has it's own Victory Theme song! -
A quick fix is the eyes, light is reflective, so you wouldn't have those black areas in her eyes, especially if they're all white. Fill in those black spots with light blue highlights. If you have a flashlight try holding your hand over the light and notice how the light absorbs in the skin. You'll want her skin to feel like light is absorbing or reflecting.

I noticed my pc version was a 6gb dl, but my mac version was 11.1 gb. I wonder why that is? -
Hey Sensuki, appreciate all the effort you put into this. I'm feeling kinda overwhelmed by all the info over past few days and have been trying to avoid too much. I wandered if I give ya a few playstyles you can tell me where to put my points? 1) I want to probably make a monk who preferably crits a lot. Do their unarmed attacks hit as fast or as often as daggers? Also, can I wield a weapon in one hand and fight unarmed in the other & still receive unarmed bonus for that hand? Based upon this playstyle should I just play a rogue? I was thinking of just playing with clothing that I enchant. 2) will I benefit from opening fights from stealth and do any ranged weapons perform better in that opportunity? 3) do talents change based upon class or race, and are they gated behind lvl requirements? 4) which skills make me more dodgy or deflect more dmg so i can be tanky? 5) is there a cap you've noticed on how much you can benefit from an item? Such as if I wanted as high of mechanics or sneaking as possibl hypothetically just for grins, let's say all my equipment were +3 or +5 to sneaking or mechanics, does it cap off at like 4 or 10 for example? Maybe a simpler way to ask is if I'm enchanting stuff do you know the max buff I can add for a particular buff?

I'm guess user scores will be ~92, I think professionals will be around 87 -
I'm asking if the main quests will be dictated main quest or something rather than quests that say travel to X place, or some long title or phrase that if you put the game down for a week and come back to it if you'll even remember what you were doing. I've been noticing a lot of fancy pants names of characters and areas, and I feel like it might be confusing which is the path to follow to do the content, besides just following the main road. That's basically how I assumed you would know, if you are in an area and there's quests to do and it doesn't involve following the main road then I'm probably safe.

It's not related to their dialogues or any of that, only to their level, skills and abilities. In what windows do you find fonts illegible? You can change the font size, you know that, right? its the colors of some fonts, like the ones on the grainy wood background, other times its the grey on black bg some red on wood textures etc.

Class-based Tetris. You could choose one of three classes - Summoner, Warrior, and Scamp. Warriors were good at clearing out blocks (specifically locked blocks that were tough to clear). One of my favorite builds revolved around taking the "Stun" skill which allowed a chance for temporary slowing of falling blocks on crits. If you paired it with two Blockade daggers, your line clears would crit pretty often. It allowed for lots of falling block stoppage which allowed you to set up huge line clearing combos. Summoners were really good at block manipulation. Moving blocks from one row to another or one column to another. At higher levels you could do some really sick stuff. I remember the "Fireblast" spell was great for clearing out future blocks that hadn't dropped yet. It allowed you great choice in selecting a good block for maximum clearing. Scamps were my favorite. They were strange, though. A lot of their abilities would get much better as more of the screen was filled with blocks. They were also the best at clearing locked blocks... in fact, they would get a pretty good XP bonus for clearing them. Normally you would avoid locked blocks, but they were your friend if you were a Scamp. You gained experience by clearing lines and it would scale your experience gain proportional to your speed. The faster that you cleared lines, the higher the XP gain. You could also chain line clears (clearing a line every time a new block would drop) for some insane XP gains. I was really sad when it was cancelled, but it was probably for the best. this was a next gen title? I see ads on my mobile phone of marvel super hero blasting bubbles like what ya are describing. I don't know how that would have been a next gen thing, but maybe 5 yrs ago it was ahead of it's time? So far this seems like you're hearts were more into this game.

that's cool! You mentioned about the respecing of npc's, would that allow the npc's to still retain their spoken dialog and everything from before? Also, that sounds like you could theoretically spawn custom pets for the ranger, such as spiders (which I know you hate,) or other monster types, which would be awesome as heck. Maybe be useful for the expansion. Would it be a similar process to allow spawning multiple pets, like a lion and a bear? That would be beastmode lol! Sometimes it amazes me what you programmers and modders can do outside of the finished product. great work! Also one last future feature request, or maybe I could figure out how to do it on my own somehow, is there a way for us to change font colors? Some font's are really illegible.

Andy Kelly @ultrabrilliant 9m9 minutes ago I'm almost 30 hours into Pillars of Eternity, and I've only been to one of its two big cities. You might want to book a week off. -
The only "review" I've seen is mmrpg first impressions of which were favorable. Actual review will be out later this week.

Sensuki, now that this is legit if you want to have people visit your page, you need to include keywords in the description and meta tags so you show up on youtube. You may want to include your sensuki name in there as well to help promote it further so folks who may have seen you will know it's somewhat official and not just jim bob who like whacking trolls guide to making pretty characters.

Omgness, you guys just that small change to the yellow and green circle and cone graphic makes the overall game that much better. The old one was ugly as butts, but now it has all kinda come together. I missed the new crafting u, but overall nice push at the end to tie it all together. Still a few area's hopefully they get to in the next month, but I think this will be a hit.
