What you did today
Got a call from the office at 23:15 that a Press Release needs to urgently be translated if I wouldn't mind... So now its 1AM. Guess I did today what I did yesterday: translate the failure of the 2013 EU Budget conciliation committee...

Morrowind...aka WTF happened Bethesda
Did the same with both of Morrowind's expansions... and Dagoth Ur in the main game. And everyone else for that matter. There were only two enemies that I did not one hit: a specific Hand of Almalexia named Salas Valor (3 hits) and a frost giant by the name of Karstaag in Bloodmoon (5 hits if I remember well). A Daedric Prince on his home plane should be a slight bit more powerful. I also one-shotted Hircine in Bloodmoon but he was just an aspect. Final boss of an expansion should be a challenge regardless of the lore. That's the whole point of a climatic battle.

Morrowind...aka WTF happened Bethesda
Not true: it was just a matter of roleplaying. You can became head of both organizations (I know because that was my choice). Then you got the proper order of doing things. If you did some missions in some order, you could end up killing someone who's death blocked your progress... I think. Can't remember that well

No, a discussion requires all participants to be comfortable with the fact that other people will not share their opinion. It requires various views and arguments and counter arguments. If your reaction to the first opinion that does not fit yours is "GTFO", then what you are looking for is perhaps chit chat, but not a discussion.

The fighters and thieves guilds were mutualy exclusive, as the Camonna Tong was using the Fighters Guild in its war against the Thieves Guild.

I think you could also list the werewoofs as a Bloodmoon faction. And personally I also see the Camonna Tong as part of the list. While it isn't joinable per se, taking control of House Hlaalu does result in you pretty much taking over the Camonna Tong as well... very fun in its irony if you are an Cyrodiil, head of the imperial Legion and Cult and also a member of the East Empire Trading Company

Didn't like the Skyrim tutorial. The whole beauty of the previous games was that you explored the world and got involved with factions at your leasure. And while you couldn't wear a suit, you could call your character Larry. With Skyrim they yanked that away: here are two factions. One just tried to chop your head off, the other you couldn't care less about. Please join one of the two to proceed and play the game. Eh, no thanks. Prefered Morrowind: so you learned to walk out of a boat and onto a pier? Good for you! Now go play the game.

Morrowind...aka WTF happened Bethesda
The story was pretty forgettable in a way, but the island and its people had interesting characters and dynamics that created a great setting to place this story in. If one paid attention to the main story, then Tribunal's story wasn't bad, building on the lore of the main game. Bloodmoon was a fun expansion, the story though was again forgetable. Neither Oblivion nor Skyrim could hold my attention. The fantasy system seemed more generic but at the same time I was not up for delving into a world as deep and invest as much time as I had with Morrowind. Fallout 3 had the advantage of a very atmospheric setting which benefited greatly from Bethesda's open world approach and allowed for a lot of small scale writting. When it came to the overarching story they did not do so well. And there are only so many bugs you can take before atmosphere and imersion go out the window.

What are you playing now - the plays the thing
Why would you want low level ones when you can get high level ones?

Anti-Dragon Age 2?
Wont be surprised if it does. Wont be surprised if it doesn't.

I seem to travel between hubs. At least if I want an as stealthy as possible run.

About to start AP
Can't remember how long a playthrough took me. Though as I loved the game I wouldn't have minded it being a lot longer Each of the three hubs is aboput equal in length though, if that helps. How far did you get?

Nothing beats nine (9) fully upgraded Spider Mines

I think there is a limit to how much ammo you can carry with you. It is not "wrong" per se to shoot yourself through every level. Some people will not appreciate you doing so though

JRPGs
PSP release wasn't "laterly" as such, but they did do a revamped version of Tactics Ogre: Lets Cling Together. Bought a PSP just for that Rather good branching story with choices, loads of npcs. Now if only they did a new version of Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen. Now there was a game that really had choices that matter.

Pictures of your games
Gold gets looted by walking over. Haven't found an autoloot.

Disney buys Lucasfilm
*waits patiently for the announcement that all future Star Wars movies will be done by Uwe Boll exclusively* If I could watch people's reaction to such an anouncement... that would be priceless.

I went CQC and pistol so I could use tranq darts in a few situations were CQC just wasn't enough. There is a mission in Rome, when you get rushed in the ruins that can be a pain with CQC alone. The Marburg fight in the museum too. Obviously you'll have to use a rocket launcher for helicopters and apcs and a sniper rifle for you know who in the end.

Game Masters & Dungeon Masters.
That's why I enjoyed playing Warhammer RPG. "So you are going to search through a skaven's pockets..." "Yes? ... why do you ask? ... shouldn't I?"
