I played a lot of the original Civ. Probably should have used capital letters for lot... Played Civ 2 once at a friend's place. Then came Alpha Centauri and it just went straight for my gamer-heart I enjoy the backstory. It helps that when the game first launched you could do a personality test on the site which would put you in one of the factions. I am an official Gaian... I feel more allegiance to those than I do to my real life nationality

Dragon Age also had the problem though of reusing doorways too often I am thinking of a warehouse in Denerim in paricular. While I can overlook a certain discrepancy in scale, I do want buildings to make sense. So if I enter a mansion I do want it to have been a mansion on the outside and I do want it to have the layout of a mansion and not be a long linear progression of random corridors and rooms based on the order of encounters the player is supposed to experience and not on what the location is.

I can't play Civ 5. I always get depressed thinking of Alpha Centauri 2.

So for figurines you'd need some pretty good 3D skills, understanding of scale and enough common sense to understand what bits will be too thin and break.

By "your own figurines" you mean that someone else has made a 3D modell and you just print it, or that you create a 3D model yourself and then print that? (I haven't looked into the 3D printing thing too much yet)

I don't know about Bounty Hunters. I was a lvl 50 smuggler ( until the smuggler's giggle was violently taken from us If you can put in a good word... I'm willing to bribe you) One problem I had with Alderaan I guess is that as a completionist, I only had just reached Tatooine when my guildies got to Alderaan. And the LOVED it with underlined, bold capitals. I spend all of Tattooine (which is quite a lot when you are a completionist who also is a Dune fan (put a Dune fan on a desert planet and see if he'll leave)) hearing how fantastic Alderaan is. So beautifull, so wonderfull, greatest zone in an MMO ever. How could I like it after that? Yes, Tython feels a bit as if the team hadn't really gotten into what would make SWTOR zones SWTOR zones. Taris on the other hand is great. Korriban. I had fun on there. Playing a completly mad sith'lek. Though the planet could be terrible and it would still be great for the chance of saying:

I only really got into SR3 after playing co-op with a friend. After that I somehow got all into the single player as well. Wierd. I loathed Darksiders. Couldn't even get as far as you before I gave up on it.

I liked most planets. Hoth was great. Tatooine was great. I loved Voss. I enjoyed Nar Shadaa, Coruscant, Balmorra, Korriban and Dromund Kaas (the city and ancient temple part mostly). The other three starting planets left me kinda indifferent though Hutta had the benefit of the agent personal story and Ord Mantell had me hunting for . The jedi one was the one that just could not make me care (the one planet I haven't made it past ) I couldn't stand Alderaan. 5 minutes into it I was bored. But that is not really Bioware's fault. I don't see how they could have made "snowy mountain" more interesting than "snowy mountain". And the theme: good duke fighting evil baron. I don't know who came up with the original Alderaan story in the EU or wherever, that the poor Bioware writers had to base their concept on. But seriously what is Alderaan supposed to be? A Dune fanfic without desert, spice or worms?

I think the whole Lannister cast was well chosen.
