So your character doesn't get stronger when they level up, they just get a larger toolkit? Edit: Holy ****, that's a giant download for Conan Exiles. I won't be playing that tonight, that's for sure.

So wait, does AC: Origins (and Odyssey) do the TES IV: Oblivion level-scaling of you're now fighting level 20 mud crabs? If so, thank goodness I resisted all temptation to play those games (wasn't so much interested in Origins, but had some interest in Odyssey). I hate that type of level-scaling with the fiery passion of a thousand suns. I mean, I hate ALL level-scaling, period. Full stop. That said, not all level-scaling is created equal and some is more egregious than others. The Oblivion-type level-scaling is the absolute worst of the bunch.

Downloading Conan Exiles on PS4, since I got it "free" this month with PS Plus. I'm holding out hope the dong slider is in character creation, but I'll most likely be disappointed.

Standings don't mean anything at this point in the season anyway. I don't pay any attention to them until after the All Star break. I mean, if you're 5 games up with 140 to play, you have a magic number of, what, 136?

Modelo Negra. It's my go to I can pick this up at pretty much any supermarket while I'm food shopping and don't need to go to a separate store beer.

I have no issue with time travel in shows and movies as long as said movie or show is consistent in following the rules that it itself sets. Time travel is such a complicated issue and there are so many different theories by people way smarter than me that I won't pretend, even to just myself, to be any kind of authority on the subject and call bull**** on how it's portrayed in movies based on my own ideas of how it should work. As long as they remain consistent, and that's easier said then done when handling something as complicated as time travel, then I'll happily go along with a movie's concept of time travel. The moment the movie starts to contradict its own time travel logic my bull**** radar goes off and any and all investement I had in the time traveling plot goes out the window.

I think that's true for pretty much any really tense, really suspenseful drama. It won't be nearly as good the second time around because you know the twists and turns in advance. But holy **** was Breaking Bad AMAZING the first time around. I will always hold up that show as one of the few shows that went off the air at exactly the right time. Dexter was great for a while, but outstayed its welcome. Mad Men, great for several seasons, outstayed its welcome. Lost was terrific for several seasons and... well, not so much outstayed its welcome, but **** the bed in the final season.

I've been holding off on this game because of the breakage & bugs horror stories. Has it gotten to a good place yet, or should I hold off a while longer?

I've been watching The Gentleman's Hentai Club. This show is Jesse Cox and Michael Santell taking a hentai, La Blue Girl in season 1, and breaking down the plot, character motivations, etc. It is *chef kiss* delightful. Obviously, the vast majority of people watching hentai don't give 2 ****s about the story, they're just skipping to the sex scenes, same as with live action porn. But these movies do have stories and they are BONKERS. TGHC isn't on YouTube, for obvious reasons (yes, they very much show parts of the hentai), instead it's on Vimeo and Pornhub. They're already planning a season 2, no word on what hentai they're going to cover yet. Super entertaining stuff. As for Star Trek, for the longest time I was of the opinion that TNG was the best show, but as I got older and rewatched some of the shows, it's become clear that DS9 was the best of the shows. It had the best premise, most interesting story lines, and Quark is my favorite Star Trek character ever, slightly edging out Q. The Ferengi, in general, are phenomenal.

I aim for 7 hours. As long as I get 5 I can function, but I'll struggle during parts of the day. If I get 6 I'm mostly good to go. If I get 7 I'm golden. 8 or 9 is the same as 7. Beyond 9 I get into oversleep territory and the extra time starts becoming detrimental.

More Hardwood + Round Holes = Lots of Scoring in Basketball 2K19

KD's demise has been greatly exaggerated -
I am beloved by one noble house, hated by a couple other houses, I'm running some shady black market deals, influencing political discussions to form a unified government, and assassins are chasing me everywhere I go. All in a day's work for a Star Trader captain.

Managed to starve a good chunk of the population yet?

8K? The vast majority of people haven't even gotten 4K yet. This is one of those little check boxes you can put on your box that sounds great and is marketable, but only Bokishi and like 0.5% of customers will ever use.

That was an epic comeback by the Clips. -
Star Traders: Frontiers is giving me a severe case of One More Turn Syndrome. This game is really addicting. Very quickly I've gotten myself pretty deep into some super spicy political hot water. I'm pretty sure I'm getting played... Let me rephrase that. I'm know I'm getting played, it's just a matter of how deep I want to let the folks playing me drag me into this before I try to turn the tables on them or pull the rip cord (If I go much deeper, pulling the rip cord may no longer be an option). This is great. The best part is that I presumably could have not done any of this story at the beginning and just gone off on completely different adventures and gotten myself into a whole different den of snakes.

I'm grinding to beat some optional bosses and get nice and buff for the final encounter in DQ XI. This is a time consuming process and not the most exciting thing in the world, so I decided to also play some Star Traders: Frontiers to break up the monotony of grinding. So far I'm fairly impressed. The combat isn't the most exciting in the world, but I'm not really in it for the combat. I'm in it for political intrigue and to build a mercantile empire. So far it has delivered. If nothing else, it will tide me over until a sale on X4: Frontiers comes my way, but it's proving to be a rather engrossing game. It reminds me of Space Rangers a bit.

Yes, we should definitely take all the steps we can to avoid another Library of Alexandria level loss of knowledge and/or art. The problem with making digital copies is that we're all a single major coronal mass ejection away from every single piece of digital anything being wiped out.

I'm assuming "porn for communists" is pictures of food, and not even fancy restaurant dishes, but just like a plain potato, that starving people look at and salivate over.

Man, I hope it was an accident, because you'd have to be a next-level ***hole to set fire to a national monument. I guess the restoration project just turned into a repair project.

There are some crazies who do. Some crazies also romanticize Hitler for that matter. But it's not surprising to see people assuming one side gets special treatment. I'm not disputing there may be people who romanticize Hitler out there, but I've never heard anyone do it. I have definitely heard people romanticize Stalin and Chairman Mao, both of whom killed more people than Hitler. Young people get some weird romantic notions about communism (I never did because I was born in Poland and got to see first-hand just how horrible it is), I can only hope they eventually grow out of it and realize that **** will never work. Apropos Kevin Hart, I appreciate the guy's hustle and am happy for his success, but I too don't find him funny.
