  1. Jamming the **** out level = APOCALYPTIC My dad is the one that initially got me into Jazz Fusion. When I was a little kid growing up in Poland my parents listened to a lot of different music, but a good bit of it was Billy Cobham, Jeff Beck, Weather Report, Return to Forever, Herbie Han****, etc. because that's largely what my dad was into. I love my dad. Edit: Freakin' stupid auto-censor editing Herbie Hanc0ck. How you gonna besmirch the name of a music legend like that?
  2. I'm on chapter 14 of Yakuza 0 mostly doing the real estate mini-game and Miss Tatsu's (she's a freakin' badass) jobs. I mostly stuck with Thug Style for Kiryu for most of the game, but I've really grown to like Beast Style (mainly because slamming people is endlessly satisfying), so I'm splitting my money between investing in real estate and investing in Beast Style.
  3. My usual, Luksusowa Polish potato vodka. I'm a simple man, and I'm Polish, so naturally I drink vodka, and I prefer potato vodka to grain vodka (my dad is the opposite). Potato vodkas tend to have a more robust flavor than grain vodkas, but good quality ones also have a really smooth finish. With Luksusowa you get this quick hit of hearty flavor with almost no burn or aftertaste, just the initial taste slowly fading away. There are certainly better vodkas out there, but they also tend to come with a MUCH higher price tag.
  4. Fresh guac from scratch. Salt & pepper are the only ingredients not shown in the top picture.
  5. I have reached chapter 13 in Yakuza 0. **** is getting crucial and the 2 protagonists' stories are converging. I feel like I'm heading into the final stretch. I'll probably set the main story on hold for a bit in the near future to finish the real estate and club czar stories.
  6. ^ It was meant as a compliment. Meanwhile, in Yakuza 0... This lady is my new favorite character in the game. Also, this happened... And this. Yakuza 0 is a weird game. Also, wonderful.
  7. LadyCrimson spamming the PoyG thread with FFXV screenshots is the new melkathi spamming the thread with Mordheim screenshots.
  8. In the case of Ewing, Sir Charles, and The Mailman, they had the unfortunate timing of playing at the same time as the GOAT and the greatest NBA dynasty since Bill Russell's Celtics. That said, I think Karl Malone is overrated as is Ewing. The Round Mound of Rebound was the ****ing man, though. Also, The Mailman wasn't trying to do it by himself, he had John Bah Gawd Stockton on those teams. John Stockton is one of the greatest point guards of all time. Also, my man rocked short shorts when no one else still did. He forever has my respect for that alone.
  9. I did that with Jotun. Lovely game that I enjoyed, but I got to the final boss, got my ass handed to me a dozen times in a row, never even coming close to winning, got super frustrated, gave up and watched the ending on YouTube. No regrets.
  10. I've been waiting for a PS4 Store sale on Dragon Quest XI (it's been on sale on Steam about a dozen times but no native Linux version) and now finally (The Rock has come back to <insert city name>) it's 50% off so I scooped it up. Once I finish Yakuza 0 I'll dive into some DQ goodness.
  11. In my younger days, I played bass guitar. I was never even at 1/100th the skill level of the guys in the video, but even with my rather meager abilities, when my friends and I would jam out we'd sometimes reach this sort of trance-like state where staying in key, in sync, etc all stopped being conscious and we were able to just feel our way through improvising a jam and we sort of communicated on a subconscious level via our instruments.
  12. Jamming the **** out level = CRITICAL
  13. Hold on, let me consult the SocJus handbook... /turns to page 437 Yep, guilty as charged. Luckily, you can atone for your grievous crime by buying 10 copies of the Special Collector's Edition Ghostbusters reboot blu-ray then giving it a 10/10 review on both IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes. Alternatively, you can contribute $500 to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's slush fund. Otherwise, you're a terrible person, unfollowed, swipe left, removed from Twitter.
  14. Maybe "washed out" was an aesthetic choice?
  15. I'm glad they went back to side-scrolling.
  16. ^ That is some high-grade nightmare fuel
  17. I'm cool with that. That way it's optional. As long as it's optional, not mandatory, I'm fine with survival game elements being there.
  18. Nvidia never ported GeForce Experience to Linux so I never have to deal with that garbage. Sometimes less really is more.
  19. I was getting into that game, but I started to find a lot of the fun mini-games have terrible pc ported game controls that seem to make them incredibly difficult. It's that juggle of pondering if it's actually worthwhile to invest in a controller just for one freaking game. Do you have a console? If you do you can use your XBOX 360/XBone/PS3/PS4 controller on PC.
  20. I wish someone would bring back WMAC Masters. That show was amazingly cheesy and wonderful, sadly it only lasted 2 seasons. For those not familiar with WMAC Masters, it was a TV show that ran in the mid 90s. Imagine if Mortal Kombat was a live action TV show, now turn the cheese factor up to 11. They had health bars on the screen for dudes taking on gangs of ninjas. It was everything I ever wanted in a TV show.
  21. Maybe we can reach a compromise with flat earthers and settle on our planet being a dodecahedron?
