  1. Did you mean that big number backstab? I did it with arquebus because it’s easlier to trigger on the edge. A bit complex because u need to get bloodied first and then use blunderbuss to trigger flanking, then swap to arquebus. Also I don’t have any Str Inspiration or any other lash like shared flames or Chanter one, so the number can be like 700+ with them. I think sword/pistol is still bugged right? If you shot someone and try to move near someone to hit them with sword, you will be stuck with reloading animation instead
  2. Seems like Cleave attack will now apply a cleave buff on enemy to prevent self triggering? Glad this is fixed.
  3. 1) I tested it, answer is yes; 2) Yes; 3) Haven't tried it; 4) Overpenetration not worth it, so no; 5) both are good depends on your build, priest is of good utility. Regards to cleave, now it seems every time you cleave, it will apply a cleave effect on enemy (to prevent self triggering i guess? This seems to be new to me).
  4. As the description says Resolve will affect the duration of Hostile Effect duration, so it should affect this too.
  5. Boring but strong. If it’s same as PoE 1, 5% lash per wound and 1 armor per wound, you get 50% lash and 10 armor in current system, which is pretty OP.
  6. That's only if the monk doesn't use any wounds at all. A Shattered Pillar will most likely generate the same amount of wounds that he spends when he has Lightning Strikes + Turning Wheel running (especially if he also has Rooting Pain). So he will most likely be near 5 wounds all the time even if he's spamming abilites. Other monks' wound count will raise/drop more if they want to spam their stuff. So maybe all in all they are not so far away from 25% in average. If I understand correctly, a shattered pillars will always spend wounds first then cast his abilities, so every ability will be landed landed near 0 wounds?
  7. I remember traps are changed from causing injury to affliction some previous beta.
  8. Hmm. The patch notes do say: "Paladin Abjuration is now at PL 5." However, Abjuration isn't showing up in the Paladin ability tree yet, or in findgamedata abjuration iirc. But it does suggest that Great Abjuration could be a Paladin ability after all. They also seem to have changed the names of some spells/abilities since that list, so maybe Priest "Dismissal" became "Great Abjuration".... Well the data mining one is around Ferburary while the beta change log is from April, I think April one is more updated.
  9. Finally someone tested it and agree with me Cleaving is a free win button in most of fights in beta. With Berserker Frenzy, Cleaving Stance works on your own summons too---just tested it on skeletons, when one dies and splits in two the two new skeletons get hit by the cleave triggered by its death (Carnage with each strike is a nice bonus)... expect AoE Swift Strikes works the same way. So you can use them in every encounter. Could even keep recruiting a low level Beckoner just so they die faster / get crit more easily.... Haha so cheesy
  10. It’s primary attack, so only mainhand.
  11. Good news for multclass is fighter got charge at PL4 now, paladin got Sacred Immolation at PL7, bad thing is seems ranger got Twin Shoot at PL8.
  12. My guess is it’s just another 20% lash bonus, 20->40->60
  13. Empower + streetfighter on the edge + backstabbing + FoD
  14. With cleave my fighter always does the most damage in my playthrough according to records, I call that best DPSer. The only thing that can beat fighter is an evoker with empowered missile spells abusing !!
  15. Exactly, or use potions, which I never did in rpg games
  16. I also find Disoriented and Blinded being super strong debuff. When fighting Greater Sand Blignts, anyone get blinded will stuck there with the recovery bar freeze until blinded is ended. But I guess the reason is that sircoco also interrupt, and interrupt will add some recovery time to your character, which is doubled by blind.
  17. The thread is not just about rework backstabbing, it suggests reduce ability cost and add more self-buff and passive to rogue to make them more competitive with other DPS classes too. Also I wish deathblow to work for spells as it was in PoE 1, I remember Boeroer’s apprentice wizard build and I like it.
  18. True, if turning wheel and iron wheel remain same as they were in PoE 1, it’s a big malus for shattered pillars One way is remove shattered pillar’s 5 wound limit, another way is limit the maximum benefit of both wheel to 5 wounds.
  19. I find Shifter is Top tier when multiclassed, mid tier if single class. Because 1) Druid don’t have good passive for martial aspect; 2) both claws and armor of spiritform is scaled with level not PL in contrast to Monk, which make multclass one lose nothing compare to his single class brother.
  20. Yeah I agree, a 0.5 sec window makes better sense. Add to the upper post.
  21. Skaen/streetfighter is very good if you 1) max STR, INT and dump Res. 2) open a fight with blunderbuss, blunderbuss modal on. 3) Summon spiritual weapon and attack enemy with sneak attack. This combo is even better with berath/streetfighter.
  22. I made a Berath/Streetfighter build that really benefit from this. Max INT and dump Res, so with blunderbuss modal you get maximum time of flanked debuff to trigger heat up. Then streetfighter’s +50% sneak attack, -50% recovery time benefit Berath’s greatsword a lot. I’m able to deal 140+ damage per swing at around 2 second recovery time under the flanking debuff, which is insane
