  1. That’s why u need a chanter/rogue to make full use of chanter’s cone spells. Since you can use escape to find the best spot for your cone blast/CC.
  2. I think I’m gonna build a church inquisitor/assassin holy slayer who is super efficient at removing target mage. Sworn enemy to cleanse mage protection + shadowing beyond/backstab sounds so good!
  3. Very nice! Thank you so much for implying this idea into your mod, I will definitely start a new playthrough with it Btw did the Cleansed Enmity require a will check? If not I think it is a bit overpowered considering Sworn enemy is an instant ability. Or maybe make it suspend beneficial effect for 20 sec instead? On second thought, even it has a will check, you can still spam it until u success, so suspend effect maybe better.

  7. Not when Unbending is a heal on tick that get triggered any time u get hit, it stacks with itself btw.

  9. Vanishing Strike is bugged currently, it gives u 5 sec that allow you to do backstab instead of only one strike. So with some blast from gears you can kill everyone with assassinate/vanishing strike.
  10. Is it only me feel that all the boss fights are quit boring? I like the dragon combat in the first game, the difficulty, the music are all awesome. But in DF....
  11. They shall put all exhortation into one ability, just like fighter stance and zealot area. To me there are no reason to take these exhortation but I have no other options in mid-high level progress. No coordinated attack, no Deprive the Unworthy, sadly.
  12. There no reason to take other abilities once u get gambit, just respec and remove all other ones and take passive instead.
  13. My opinion is the OP is talking about Corrode PL, not Poison PL. Not every corrode spell has poison keyword, at least wizard ones.
  14. Really? I don't know man, sneak attack (and eventually deathblows) gets you pretty far along the power curve imo. Also streetfighter = most fun I've had with a rogue-type in quite a while. Can someone explain to me why Streetfighter is good, or fun even? The downsides seem way too annoying to me. I'm a rogue fanatic and play a ton of rogues in every game, but I don't see why everyone loves Streetfighter. In my Swashbuckler (Rogue/Devoted) playthrough, I was flanked maybe 5 times over 100 hours of playtime, and unless you have a ton of Con (which I don't want) then staying Bloodied for more than a few seconds seems like a death sentence. I'm clearly missing something here but the downsides seemed way too annoying for me to try it. I love the micro of afflicting things and then Sneak Attacking them, but having to constantly micro to put myself in bad positions (flanked) or suffer a slower attack speed doesn't sound the least bit fun to me. Edit: Or is it for like Riposte builds with high Res? A super tanky high-Res rogue also sounds like heresy to me so maybe that's why I'm not into it. Edit 2: So after some reading, high Con, high Res builds with ****ty other stats? That like, literally offends me. That's disgusting, you should all be ashamed, Obsidian most of all for allowing it to happen. Tanky rogues, /vomit. I need a shower. What's wrong with building a class in different ways? We should be able to build a class to fit any roles though it might be inferior to classes specialized in the role. I don't see the issue of a tanky rogue, it's not obliged, you can build one is not equal to you have to build one.
  15. We have two single handed weapon gives +4 fire PL and a pet +1 fire, but only a quarterstaff +1 Corrode PL sigh..
  16. Those knockdown on crit items also do not check emeny defenses, for example Ball and Chain.

  18. The issue was with the weapon Wahai Poraga, not with Monk's skills. Sorry for the disappointment. Would have been better with Monk It is, even if the pollaxe doesn’t proc itself, if you have Swift Flurry + Heartbeat Drumming + Wahai Poraga + high acc, it gonna have similar effect because these extra hit on crit proc themselves. Not as jaw dropping as it is now, but still pretty powerful with abilities that reduce deflection like confounding strike.
  19. The Red Hand (inactive slot)+Kitchen Stove!!!!+ any good small shield or shield that does not reduce accuracy too much for defense (active slot)+electric helm!!!!+ elementalist's bracers!!!!! (cast jolting touch)= 40% lash on thunderous report = big damage don't feel like elaborating as this may not be in 1.2 as it is now but it can be done and is not class specific really. bye bye queen - Potd upscaled deadly deadfire HARDCORE version in one shot quennk.jpg You can also assasinate with Thunderous Report, stacking that with your build and it will be even more powerful. I don’t remember if death blow works too, but worth a try.
  20. Monk is a class that at first glance is not so strong, but when u have some knowledge to the game and class, the deeper u dig into the mechanism, the stronger u will found it is. A lot hidden synergy wait there to be explored
  21. Beautiful synergy here, I will definitely roll a sword&shield monk with this. Trickster seems to be a nice combo because the deflection and riposte, maybe paladin and ranger is good too?
  22. If there are 2 enemies in 99% of fight there is no need for resonant touch, casue both of them will be death after 1 or 2 WoW attack. Only excetion are bosses, but only huge one - dragon and kraken and nemnok (i made some test just now - since lava dragon always summon some magma slime, after 2 uses of WotW he was hit 4times with full attack, his health bar was 90% full, and after that RT take him down in 1 hit :D - so even if enemy have high DR and we gigle him for 1-2dmg, after blunderbuss combo one RT will make him KO) arkemyr or lich will die after 2 attack :/ Also one more thing - if we use Avenging storm from scroll or uniqe helmet it will proc WotW nice and we can ko whole screen in 1 attack :D Who need to reload firearm
  23. Indeed, Terrify should be shortened further to 8 sec, probably 7 sec max. I will post comprehensive analyses showing the breaking point is around 7.43 sec later. Curious about your analyze, how do u define breaking point here?
