Thanks for the tip, I forgot all about the beta branch after 1.1 dropped Edit: looks like they went a little overboard, imo. With only a 10% sneak attack damage difference in exchange for free spells at every power level, there's basically no reason to choose a vanilla rogue anymore. They shall make tricksters access to these spells, but not get them freely, -10% sneak attack is like nothing compare to the huge versality you get.

It's more prominent now, maybe (haven't done the math for Deadfire yet), and there were no weapon modals. Yeah I agree, it's more prominent because everything is slower in DF than PoE 1, so the fast animation of full attack makes dual wielding even better.

Is there absolutely any point to taking a Wizard subclass?
Ogre form is still pretty weak because the armor penalty is untouched. Also it still looks like my character is swinging a club when he use his fist to attack.

[Request] Spell Cache belt to give scroll more predictably
I like the concept of this item, similar with amazing instantly potion belt, you might get a very powerful scroll or a meh one, but that is the fun. However, it is pretty annoying that this ability is per rest, and it is usually wasted on trash encounters because it automaticially procs at the beginning of combat. My suggestion is make it use on demand, or once per encounter.

Even this feature is not in the game, we NEED it !! Btw, Priest disposition affects your spiritual weapon lash bonus, 20% to 30% depends on your disposition i think.

I think you won't be able to damage yourself anymore. Also the helm was nerfed and it's not possible anymore to stack multiple charges. Yeah you are right, first since the Static Thunder only works when u have stacks, so you cannot hurt yourself with it, secondly the helm only works on big elec damage now because it is not stackable, so very sad indeed The helm now give you bonus from first electric damage and then recharge bonus duration ? I think how it works now is every new buff replace old ones, even new buff has less lash bonus, I haven't tested it in detail but the description hints it works this way.

Shouldn't this has a friendly fire free area? Now it hit everybody including allies in the area, even with INT bonus. Never mind, it might be a UI bug.

As topic, although it said that it has chance to heal wearer on acid abilities, it doesn't work actually.

One issue is the uptuned Trickster is way too powerful now, what's the meaning to take a pure rogue over trickster? AoE terrifying for only 1 Guile cost? It's just ridiculously good.

Still I agree with the idea to make melee class specially rogue scales more with power levels, for example: Backstabbing to begin with 50% damage and finally 150%.

dunehunter replied to Ancelor's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)The more we discussed here, the more I realize that the problem is not 2h weapons are underwhelming, but Full Attack abilities heavily favors dual wielding. You get higher burst damage and less recovery time, and you can turn on mainhand modal without recovery penalty if you have another light weapon in offhand, like axe/dagger, sabre/dagger.

I like almost all of the new class changes. Good job Obsidian! I'm going to make a shifter build now since that new change allowing shiftforms to get gears stats is really cool. Also thinking about make a cipher now since the uptune looks good.

dunehunter replied to Archaven's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)i think it's not fair to compare it that way. some ability which cost the same but performance wise are much better. they are designed not to be equal well totally useless is my initial reaction and probably slight exaggeration. the 4s stun is really quite nice but i find it too short and if it deals primary attack or maybe full attack on the target and aoe stun that will be nice for me. full attack just up the resource cost so you cant spam. If your initial reaction to an ability being nerfed is "totally useless now" it might be a good idea to take a breath double-check your thinking. well i did take a deep breath and perhaps multiple deep breaths and even couple good night sleep too. now i even triple, quadruple check my thinking and thanks for reinstating my opinion i think it's still totally useless . i think the ability should have 2 upgrade tier. the 1st tier probably full attack the end target with the 4s stun. the last tier upgrade will be full attack but make it that resource cost that you can only activate it once. it's player choice if they want to use that or they can use other ability. it means attack with all your equipped weapons. if you equip 2 weapons, you deal damage with that 2 weapons. Then there is no point discussing charge then, since they are designed to be not equal with other abilities following your logic.
