Maybe add more restrictions can solve the issue of 17/1 class combo? You know in AD&D a fighter/cleric is restricted to blunt weapons, so similarly if you wanna take advantage of 17/1 class combo over pure 18 class, u get some punishment by suffering both classes' restrictions, and you might reconsider if it worth to take 1 level into other classes.

Undead Hunter

I would like to have a special subclass like anti-mage or inquisitor in BG2 for POE2. They sounds more 'unique' to me as a subclass since they fullfill a more uniqure role other than common roles like tank, dps or healer. -

Is a barbarian worth it?
dunehunter replied to Kingsman's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
All the new Spellchance items are best when wield by a Barbarian because of carnage. Yeah that is an undeniable truth that barbarians rely more on their class ability than other classes. And the Devs make the situation worse by implementing so many Spellchance weapons into the game, which I think is a bad idea. -
You can easily got a Major adventure at the begin of Act II. IMO lots of adventure gear is too good for Act II, like that mourning gloves and binding rope which hit enemy with stuck effect without saving. The cloak of comfort, if compared to other defensive gears, is the best defensive neck slot, which u can just get from the begin of the game, without finishing any tough tasks.

Due to how easily and how early u can get this item and the overpowered spellholding effect it has, I think this item is really a cheese and never use it myself. Although it's direction and cast condition is a bit random, we can't deny that line aoe stun/high damage spell is too powerful for a per encounter attribute on an item.

I read the wiki it says the type of adventure is based on your prestige and the result of a 1-50 rolls. However I think Wiki is incorrect. In my game my stronghold has a prestige of +4 updates while I got a Major adventure. I think you have to have at least 26 prestige to get a Major adventure right? Now my roll should be 5-54. Either the system is bugged or do I miss something here? Thanks! PS: I read the wiki again and it said to roll two dice so it explains. Another problem is when the adventure is rolled. I save/load my game and only get different Major adventure, I wanna get an average adventure and get that cloak of comfort. And does it wise to update Prestige too fast? I think it will lower the chance to get lower level adventures.
