Yeah both Disciplined Barrage and Swift Strike/Lightning Strike is super powerful atm. They are instantly casted and cost only 1 source point. Pluse Devoted is OP due to the current penetration system. Strong combo build for sure. But it also depends on your difficulty, in Potd all enemies has +15 defense which makes it harder to do critical attack. So the effect of swift strike is not that impressive. You might need to pick Lightning Strike instead in Potd.

Did some test and it seems that backstab is bugged with ranged attack now, using that ability to turn invis and attack with range weapon doesn't trigger backstab correctly :/

Removing non class specific talents was a bad idea

Well there are still some other talents than weapon styles, like deep pocket, extra weapon set and those boost your fortitude/reflex/will defense. And we are talking about adding talents like +damage to fire spell which is missing in current game. -
Just tested precast Smart on Berserker and let them frenzy, Smart do actually canceled Confuse. So I'd say Intelligent Resistance will make them immune to Confuse.

Rogue get 50% damage boost when they attack enemies with afflictions, soul blader get 40% damage boost towards any target, kinda agree here that cipher's talent is a bit too good.

Some problem with Black Jack now is that even you swap from same type of weapon to same type, for example, arquebus to arquebus, your model is canceled and you need to reactivate it again, which I find is super annoying which I try the Black Jack.

The problem is when u reach the white circle of enemies(I guess its their earshot), even when u are behind them, they will turn around as they notice something.

Yeah I feel mb abilities break stealth, but have to do more test to verify this.

Anyone manage to make successful backstabbing? My main character has a Stealth of 8 but I find it's impossible to make backstabs. Everytime enemy discovered me before or when I am doing the swing sword action and the attack result into a normal attack instead of backstabbing.

So can you counter an Attribute Affliction with an Attribute Inspiration? For example if one character is suffered from tier 1 Might Affliction Staggered, can I cast tier 1 Might Inspiration Strong on the target to dismiss the debuff ???

If I am asked to vote the power level of all Paladin subclasses, I would rank them as Bleak Walker = Kind Wayfarers > GoldPact Knight > ShieldBearer > Darcozzi Paladini. Honestly the minor flame shield is as weak as it is in Poe 1. I can imagine the flame shield will be only useful for the first a few level of the game but that-1 zeal max REALLY hurt in early game. Kind Wayfarer is alright as long as players place the character at right position. And with right build it can be really potential. Bleak Walker works really good with Rogue, whatever subclasses u pick, as the +sicken to FoD works sweetly with sneak attack. I runned a playthrough with a Bleak Walker/Assasin dual wielding Dagger/Sabre and Pistols, which is a lot fun to play. Haven't tried GoldPact Knight and ShieldBearer that much but I feel its a good subclass for fighters as a defender/leader build.

FoD heals the paladin themselves in my test playthrough. And Dual wielding = Double heals from white flames. My FoD heals around 50 hp with two sabre. Thats only one FoD, and you can do 5 FoD in one battle, which was insanely powerful. Yeah LoH is not required for the build, but any +heal ability synergy good with +MIGHT from Helwalker, you can of cause swap it with other abilities That -15% damage is not that a big deal as you think honestly. Because your damage is so high that normally u just send your Paladin to clear the mobs while your teammates cheer behind you. With the double lash + FoD u almost one shot every mob with dual wielding sabre. And the key to this build is the Eternal Devotion + Lightning Strikes + high MIGHT for killing, while keep standing frontline with White flame + Silver tides, LoH can help your teammates but I Do agree with all the heals from White flame and silver tides I barely use it.

Wellspring of Life seems works best with Barbarian and Priest. Since they can get STR boost at lvl 1.

For defense aspect, high MIGHT provides sweet healing bonus to Lay on Hands, White Flame(Kind Warfarer talent which adds +heal to flame of devotion) and Moon Godlike silver tides. Since we want wounds to stack fast for the MIGHT bonus, we will front many enemies and get hit frequently, silver tides will trigger fast and provides good synergy here. For offensive aspect, 1) MIGHT rise the basic damage as an addiction; 2) Lash from Eternal Devotion/Lightning Strikes works as a multiplier towards basic damage. So have both high MIGHT and 75% total of Lash damage makes we hit hard as truck. And we pick sabre for its high basic damage. One thing to be mentioned is that in current beta version, Lash damage will bypass armour rate so even your weapon has lower penetration than enemies' armour rate, your Lash will still do full damage. I'm not sure if this is intended or not. But with such high Lash damage we don't need to worried about penetration. Subclass aspect, I picked Kind Wayfarer for its white flames, but you can pick any Paladin subclass you want as it doesn't matter that much. But I think Kind Wayfarer synergy best here. Darcozzi Paladini/Fire Godlike will be a variation for a more Retaliation focused build. Talent aspect, Eternal Devotion + Lightning Strike is OP combo. Inspired Defences + Zealot Endurance offers nice armour rate since we will get a lot hits. Armour rate can help us survive. Deep faith is not necessary but I like to pick it as I feel it's the best talent of Paladins. Overall, this is a low maintenance Striker/Healer which use the best of synergy of the current system. Feel free to add comments and your opinions on the build

Why use mage slayer when u can just one shoot these with a paladin/cipher with Flame of Devotion + arquebus? Just kidding, but the Wizard Slayer in BG2 is bad because they are just outshined by the Inqusitor kit of paladins, since mage in BG2 has a lot protection spells to prevent them get touched, like mirror image and protect from normal/magical weapon, so they are not just easily butchered as they are in POE. Dispel magic is required to be able to damage high level mages in BG2, thats why wizard slayer sucks and inquisitor shines. If AI for mage in POE 2 is improved, they will toss instant prot spell like mirror image and arcane veil at the begin of battle like how mage in bg2 does, then mage slayer will have a hard time to interrupt mage since they require successful melee hit to be able to add Spell Disruption.

how does the penetration mechanic feels like?

I just feel the average penetration on weapons/spells is pretty low comparing with the average armour rate enemies has, maybe either rise the penetration of all weapon + spell or lower enemies armour rate would make it works better at least. -
Another thing to be mentioned is that when u dual wielding pistol, after the initial double shoot, the character will reload everytime he shoot, so its like mainhand shoot, reload -> offhand shoot -> reload and so on. I'd like to make it shoot both weapon and reload both because a lot abilities use 'full attack'. And it would be nice to have a reload button to let us reload manually instead of automatically reload firearms since sometime we want to immediately swap to melee weapon after the alpha strikes.

Would be nice to use pistol as a club, but seems when in melee range character only use sword not pistol to attack now?

Aren't there Inspiration called Aware and Insightful that let u graze? I mean this is a Cooperation game and u can always buff your team with Aware to make your spell/abilities work. To me, it hurt a bit to not have the initial graze but need some inspiration to make it work again, but nothing big.
