  1. Isn't that just what you get when you train at something but later a new opportunity comes along that requires additional training? Gee, that's tough bud.
  2. And the bite. Don't forget the bite (speaking from experience).
  3. When you find somebody's posts to be consistently unpleasant to the point where you always want to skip them, then Ignore makes forums easier to scan through for enjoyable posts. Whether the blocked individual learns from the experience is beside the point. They no longer exist. You still see when the person posts though lol It just hides their comments, if the person is very active you will still see their name alot. They never fully dissapear. Yes I'm aware. But it's "good enough".
  4. A {beautiful mermaid|handsome merman} is spotted following your ship, and as you look below you see {her|him} gazing at you longing from underwater, inviting you into the depths. A haunting, desperate need fills your soul as {her|his} mesmerizing visage ensnares your thoughts. Do you: 1) Hold your breath and dive into the icy waves 2) Make anchor and drop your fishing nets in the water 3) Fire your cannons in salute and sail onward
  5. NWN2 patches are available at the Vault. My suggestion is to purchase the GoG release of Neverwinter Nights 2 Complete for $20 and save yourself a lot of headaches.
  6. Reducing the party size in general makes it tactically less interesting. If you get attacked by a second force in the flank or rear now, you'll be fighting them with your glass cannon. Yawn. It'll be much more difficult for a rogue to get a flank attack benefit. Yawn. If the barbarian runs off to battle in an island, it'll leave the rest of your party barely able to protect your wizard. Yawn. I guess we'll see.
  7. Can't wait until somebody tries to take that through the airport...
  8. Perhaps the priest spells lists will expand as you increase in level? I.e. later on you gain access to previously prohibited spells for lower levels?

  10. That would be too much abstraction for my taste. When you're in combat, you should have only limited access to any inventory. Pretty sure moving anything in/out of inventory or quick slots or worn items is locked while in combat. The question is about while out of combat. I also like to keep certain inventory items associated with specific characters. Spell books with the Wizard character, for example. Having one big blob inventory could result in me accidentally selling an item I didn't want to.
  11. Arsenic is completely natural, glutten free, and has no salt, fats, or sugars. It contains no milk products, peanuts, eggs, or shellfish, and comes from a wholesome, delicious fruit eaten by millions of people every day.

  13. That sounds a bit like Neverwhere (1966). I wouldn't mind a setting based on some of Neil Gaiman's modern fantasy works.
  14. If you had polished your social skills, wouldn't you expect to have additional discussion options not available to a clueless lout? No, because 'polishing' social skills only applies to those who are following the same etiquette you are developing. I can see skills like High Class Etiquette, which would help in specific social situations, but which would also be a hindrance if used in the wrong situation such as when talking to street thugs who think you're being snobby to them as a result of it. In that case, street etiquette or streetwise as it is more commonly known would be more applicable but using that on a noble would make you look like a lout. Nope. All you're talking about there is applying specific situational modifiers. You still should expect to have more options overall when you've enhanced your social skills.
