    The writing is my main concern at this point; everything else seems to be in good shape. So that goal's a plus.

    Having played it for 30 hours now, I must admit the second game doesn't interest me as much as the first. Hopefully it'll get better.

    Yes, level progress seems way too fast. It feels like they're catering to the young 'uns with repeated rewards for not much effort.

    Agreed. Combat seems much more chaotic now compared to PoE. Limiting parties to 4 characters will make it even worse.

    What evidence is there that a scientist is a particularly well suited profession for a politician? Thomas Jefferson? Benjamin Franklin? Wehrner von Braun? Margaret Thatcher? Angela Merkel? Jimmy Carter? Herbert Hoover? Well maybe not the last.

    I've played High Fantasy setting to death, so I'm enjoying the differences here. It's funny how some people complain loudly when it's the same old type of western fantasy setting, then others moan when it's something new. I guess you just can't please everybody. My biggest issue with the game is just the extremely slow load times for area transitions.

    It's been covered on GameBanshee and RPGWatch; can't speak for the others. What I've seen of it looks good.
