  1. I wish this burns in the lowest pits of hell
  2. Funny that, considering that we've owned territory in the Maghreb for more than a century and have had exactly zero problems with Islam itself (mind, Morocco's king is a reactionary ****, but his ambitions are territorial rather than religious or cultural) until Dubya & friends started turning the ME into a shooting range and Terrorists-R-Us franchises started popping up like mushrooms. Funny, too, considering that we've had way more deaths from separatist Basque terrorism than from jihadis, so I guess Basques and Spaniards have never and will never be able to coexist. Or something along those lines. But hey, don't let me get in the way of your grandstanding... Had to be really cool to live under muslim rule of the Moors. I guess they can rename that region to Al-Andalus, right? What could go wrong with that, just a name after all, right?
  3. Every game studio under EA ends like this. Biowarejust had some luck with starting out with strong 2 titles Dragon Age and Mass Effect. Mass Effect is dead now, and I'm fairly sure Dragon Age is not much better. The new title will be a nail in the coffin once it crashes on its face
  4. I'm fairly sure, that if not for pre-orders, it would bomb. Also I believe Origin does not have the same return policy as Steam, so I doubt many ppl got refunds
  5. I think he was making some joke in relation to Trump's reference to a fake fact on Gen. Pershing (or whatever the name was)
  6. Army roster for Skaven - one odd thing is Stormvermin with sword and shield, other than that, looks solid. there are also links to army rosters of three other races (HE, DE, Lizardmen) https://www.totalwar.com/blog/skaven-army-roster/
  7. There was also some random knife attack in Dusseldorf, Germany - still not sure if terrorist driven or not (1 dead, and few injured)
  8. Apparently there as an attempt for another terror attack, but Police managed to react and kill the terrorists in Cambrils before they could launch their attack
  9. I hope all of your friends and family is safe... really disgusting stuff. Currently at least 13 confirmed dead and many more wounded. Reports are that they have one of the terrorists locked on, but he got hostages in a restaurant
  10. And so, those who are fables and bedtime stories - surface... and:
  11. That was actually scary to see how efficient the thing was. good it's only limited to a simple laning
  12. Goign back to this topic, because holy mother of.... Dota 2 international has nearly 25mil prizepool with 10mil first place I wonder if there is any coverage of that event in more mainstream media.
  13. OMG OMG OMG... goodies come in all the time... it's like new Xmas!!! https://www.totalwar.com/blog/norsca-army-roster/
  14. yeah, but if it's so easy to get a license, i still don;t get why there is no a TB based RPG in this setting... As for TW:WH - i HOPE that they will improve the pace of battles and sieges, the battles are a bit too fast for my taste and sieges were really boring in game one, but the game will most likely still be fun and worth every EUR/USD spent on it. I like how they loosen their reigns slightly on the modding once in a while, but i doubt they will go full free bonanza on it until they will be done with game 3, so modding will still be restrained quite a bit.
  15. Gah, this is pure awesome!!! I still don;t get it why there is no real TB RPG in this setting....
  16. To be honest, i liked the first setup better, this 15 levels of torment levels is just meh... too many difficulty levels, outrageous dependence on gear and this game looks worse in playability than Diablo 2... The big positive change is that it looks like gear now drops with stats for your character you are currently playing and legendary and decent rares you can actually encounter on your playthrough Not sure why they made this odd change on difficulty levels, the initial 4 were enough imo, DMG scaling is retarded. my character does 12M dmg on an occasional crit... and it's not that big of a dmg... still have the same complain on the game, it's just boring grindign with near 0 skill involved. Still better than going act 2 in vanilla release on highest difficulty, but the gear checks are still here, they are now just better concealed with auto-scaling and almost 20 difficulty levels...
  17. I've bought the pack, played the campaign, and then after that decided, why again am i doing this? I liked vanilla set up better where there would be always public games with people on given runs, now it's just too many difficulty levels and it seems most people prefer solo runs...
  18. Nashkel Mines? Pfft... FIREWINE BRIDGE DUNGEON FFS Firewine is optional, Nashkel you kind of have to do
  19. it's not an excuse, it's a fact. a rabid dog does not care who it's biting when it feels threatened. I agree, it's not something we should try to excuse, but simple wishing for it not to happen is not enough. So let's just cater to the wishes of unstable bigots because clearly they're not in the wrong here, it's the immigrants who are. Makes perfect sense. yes, because they are the group of people which does not want to adapt to the rules and culture of the host country.
  20. Meanwhile: Brussels police neutralizing a guy with explosive belt

  22. well people who will feel threatened will eventually backlash in an unstable way. Pouring more incompatible people just expedites when it will happen. Lack of integration from incoming communities, asking for special rights, living on social welfare, etc. You can't sustain this in the long term. The next economic crisis could be a spark to a lot more of open violence and it will happen in next 5-10 years, economic crisis tends to repeat every so often and last one we had what, in 2007-2009, with some countries still struggling after that?
  23. Yeah, but can we blame them? Their last few historical titles were very underwhelming and were unable to recapture the scope and quality of their older titles - but they've gotten universal praise for their Warhammer game, bringing in new customers in droves, who are actually loving their current approach, as opposed to their older fans Well save fort the DLC policy, but still. It makes we wonder what their move post Warhammer will be though. Return to historical games or a soft compromise, beginning to incorporate fantasy elements. To keep the Warhammer crowd. They are also working on a historical title and there is also a special DLC planned for one of their historical titles. Warhammer team is a separate project which will go until WH3 and probably around 6 DLCs to it, so most likely to close by 2019 EoY. They need to keep churning the WH games as they promised a trilogy. if the games would be too far apart the tech standard would be most likely not very good,as they would still need to tie the last game into their grand campaign for 3 main maps. They are already a bit challenged by combining the maps from 1 and 2 into something playable without killing your machine or enjoyment due to long turn times
  24. you know, tb combat can be fun, like the xcom series for example...
