Not really what I was looking for. Batman got tied up/ captured pretty much every (bat) episode of the (bat) tv series, for example. The question was more about the reaction to being captured. Of those I would say that only the fourth one down comes close to being what I was looking for, which is something a bit beyond simply looking worried, the comparison would be more towards looking panicked or frightened as per the batgirl cover, and whether that tends to happen only* to secondary heroes, or women, or secondary hero women, or if it's more generally distributed. *I'd exclude examples like, say, Scarecrow from this, as their raison d'ĂȘtre is being able to panic even normally stoic characters. Superdickery has probably image of every comic book cover where Wonder Woman is tied up or some other way trapped, so you could look there if there is any (there is just too many for me to do so) http://www.superdickery.com/tag/wonder-woman/page/2/ EDIT: After looking it more it looks that they don't have nearly as many covers in this their new site than what they had in their old, which is quite sad.

Do you autoattack? if not, why don't give her a wand or a bow just to AA from behind meanwhile chanting? She is the tank of my party that stands in front line and takes all the hits from enemies. She is fully build around that idea. Back line support chanter should be build much differently. Seems interesting, chanter + summons tanking!! What would you suggest for a more backline chanter? With backline Chanter you probably would want to drop your Constitution down to at least to 10 and also perception and resolve can be dropped to 10-12 and rise your might, and dexterity. And you probably should not wear plate armor but much lighter armor if you wear any armor. And Moon Godlike is not necessary best race choice for back line character as their healing ability works only when their endurance drops. And with talents you should go with offensive ones instead of defensive ones. And you probably should also choose more aggressive phrases and invocations.

Wonder Woman has long and proud? history to be DC's most tied up character in their comic covers

You're not obligated to agree with it, but it certainly isn't disingenuous. Plus you've been rather unfair in your implications, too. Sure, he says he did it 'voluntarily' having decided it was inappropriate, but that rather begs the question of why he made it in the first place if it didn't fit and was inappropriate- at some time his view must have changed, logically. That he has apparently been systematically blocking anyone who disagrees with his (new) view is relevant as it does not support that it's a decision he has come to by himself, but one he* has come to after listening to and being influenced by one side. Most significantly though, if it's disingenuous to post those tweets it was also disingenuous to imply it was a purely logical decision made by the artist alone devoid of external influences when it was certainly not*, and to imply that information had been left out when not only did the linked article mention it but so did the URL included in the initial post, to whit: '..comics-cancel-batgirl-variant-at-artists-request'. Can't blame the poster if people don't read the linked article, or even look at the url; that's the fault of the reader. *it's also basically impossible that it was solely his decision, covers are very heavily vetted by PR departments as they are usually the most prominent promotional material for a comic issue. Artist of said cover said that reason behind cover was to portray Batgirl's troubled history with Joker (The Killing Joke by Allan Moore), which isn't part of current Batgirl story arc, but from time when Batgirl was still mere secondary sidekick in Batman stories, which references towards it are probably something that don't fit well with Batgirl's current audience as it is mainly targeted to younger (teen age) crowd.

When they didn't used cover after artist of said cover request that they would not use it?

Article's writer/poster(s) have made mistake in trusting their portals publishing systems, which have automatically added "https://www.paradoxplaza.com/news/Pillars-of-Eternity-Has-Gone-Gold/" (on Paradox's page) and "http://eternity.obsidian.net/news" (on Obsidian's page) in front of eternity.obsidian.net

Update 91: Closing in on March 26th!
Elerond replied to BAdler's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Announcements & News
I'm not misunderstanding anything. Vendors from overseas? So what has been imported from overseas into the USA that's required to be part of the physical goods? Probably every damned thing that was printed? Cloth maps, t-shirts, mouse pads, playing cards and Kickstarter backer cloth patches, probably at least as I would guess that you get such items from China and Vietnam in much cheaper price than what you can get them from USA. Also printed books are high on possibility list, but they would not come directly to Obsidian as they are produced and sold by different companies (Dark Horse Comics and Prima Games), and people have already have been able to get their hands on Dark Horse Comics' guide and backer's don't get hardcover version of Prima's guide as backer reward. Also DVD/Blu-ray of Making of Document is possibility. -
Chants are passive auras that last whole fight, although mechanic behind them is bit more complex than what bards songs were, as you can create your own chants by making chains of phrases that give different effects for your aura, and each pharse has timer that adds up chanters chant counter, chanter has, addition to chants, invocations which they can cast with power that they gained from their chanting (aka chant counter, different invocations cost different amount from chant counter starting from 3). Invocations work in similar role as bards' per rest spells that they had in IE games (and in D&D at general).

End-game Critical path too easy?
Elerond replied to Mazisky's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
All content that is required to complete game is by definition part of critical path and not side content, although there can be optional critical paths by offering lots of optional content which player need to do only part to finish the game. Semantics. "optional critical paths by offering lots of optional content which player need to do only part to finish the game." This sounds like side content to me. No, all the content that player needs to do before they can finish game belong in critical path, even when player has multiple options where to choose what they do. Critical path can also have fully compulsory content that player has to do before they can continue story and it is also be possible that there are several instances of compulsory content which player can choose in which order they do them. Some games use balance where player can go through game only by doing this story blocking contents, some games don't have story blocking content at all, and some games use system where you need to do certain amount of optional content to get past story blocking part. Side content is all the content which player don't need to do to finish the game. If you make it so that player needs to do side content then that side content just changes that optional content which player has to do before they can get past that story blocking part, meaning that they are now part of critical path. -
End-game Critical path too easy?
Elerond replied to Mazisky's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Latest what I have seen from subject from devs is that there is no level scaling/adjustment of encounters during game, so regardless which level you find encounter it is always same on predetermined level. In my understanding this is true both for critical path and side content encounters. Also it is said that you can't achieve max level without doing side content, this means that end game of critical path will be easier for those who do all the side content. It is also mentioned that most difficult encounters of the game are side content and they are meant to for people that want have very though fights. All content that is required to complete game is by definition part of critical path and not side content, although there can be optional critical paths by offering lots of optional content which player need to do only part to finish the game. -
I would not back it, if they announced it now (meaning now to soon after launch of PoE), as because of changes in payment system/processor that KS uses it is difficult for me to back any project and also I have started to be bit tiered to wait projects to finish years after their original aimed dates, which is has made me realize that my personality probably isn't best suited for crowd funding project where time estimates are difficult to give accurately although in case of PoE 2, time estimates should be much easier for them as they now have set up pipelines for things and team has acquired experience with unity, pipelines and and this type games overall).

I have couple possibilities 1. Inspired by my first monk character in BG2 Name: Jolker Melchiotto Sex: Male Race: Savannah folk Class: Monk Culture: Ixamitl Plains Background: Scholar Short description of role that I try play: Things that he is good doer, but actually everything is about him, as he only knows right answers to world and peoples problems (even if they didn't know that they had problems). In combat tries to be most active person and always in front line. 2. Inspired by High elven special character from Warhammer Fantasy Battles Name: Alarielle the Merciful Sex: Female Race: Pale elf/Moon Godlike Class: Chanter Culture: The White that Wends Background: Mystic Short description of role that I try play: Inspiring leader, who tries to avoid fighting to best of her abilities and when it comes to fight she lets her followers to do dirty work and support them from back lines. 3. Inspired by child hood me and his favorite P&P character Name: Elerond Elesaidin Sex: Male Race: Wood Elf Class: Rogue/Cipher Culture: Aedyr Background: Dissident Short description of role that I try play: Combination of assassin and thief who is bit loner, but don't avoid using people to achieve his goals, whose views of right and wrong often collide with rule of law,. In combat uses dirty tactics like hitting them from shadows, makes his enemies fight each other, leads his enemies in his trap fields, borderland always tries flashy and tricky solutions instead of straight forward ones. 4. Inspired by one character from my fantasy short stories that i wrote in school Name: Saide Sex: Female Race: Nature/Death Godlike Class: Ranger/rogue Culture: The Living Lands Background: Explorer Short description of role that I try play: Rootless soul who don't feel accepted in anywhere, tries to avoid social conflicts with exception that she always helps and sides with women even she thinks that they are wrong. In combat she tries to cause devastating opening blows that leave her prey dead or heavily weakened so that they are easy to finish.

Cities: Skylines, I can say it is highly addictive, as I just finished 21 hours session

That is true for all drugs, they all have beneficial effects, which is usually reason why people use them first place. Even always dissed alcohol and tobacco have beneficial effects. It is quite vague thing that causes drug to become illegal, but more often than not it has lot to do how easy and cheap making that drug is. Which is reason why it think that all drugs should be legal and go through similar oversight as legal drugs. As it would ensure quality of those drugs, make them taxable (which would give money to take care of those who suffer their not so beneficial effects), make controlling them cheaper and easier, and it would lessen power of criminal organizations that finance their operation by selling drugs. But there is always more passion than though when it comes to conversations about drugs.

What NEEDS to be fixed before launch?
Elerond replied to JohnnySideburns's topic in Backer Beta Discussion
I would like if they would lower npc's ability to detect your characters in stealth mode as now even character with maxed stealth in level 6 can barely sneak next enemy to hit them backstap attack, let alone trying solve quest in sneaky way. -
Update 91: Closing in on March 26th!
Elerond replied to BAdler's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Announcements & News
No collector's edition would not lose value if it is delivered later, but when it is made incomplete because of promise that people would get their box in launch date and that promise don't actually hold then there is reason to complain. -

Unsealed/incomplete boxes have much less collection value than sealed complete boxes. So if one put $500 dollars to get signed sealed complete box to add it to their collection or to sell some other collector, then I can understand why they feel that they don't get what they paid for, especially if there is no factors that compensate that lost value. -
That is what spiritual successor is. It is something that don't actually are related to original product but its general design, thematic, aesthetic and in case of games gameplay choices are heavily influenced by original product without being copy of original product. Actual successors of products can actually sometimes be much more different from original product than spiritual successors, like for example Fallout 3, Duke Nukem 3D, Neverwinter Nights 2, Dune 2, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, Final Fantasy 2-15, Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Metroid: Other M, and etc.

Hmmm, havn't thought about that. But a true collector would want it to be sealed and I automatically assumed that only true collectors would back at that pledge lvl. Therefor the signatures would be on the plastic wrap. But technically your interpretation is a valid one... Obsidian released pictures where members of PoE's developing team signed game covers before they are put on game boxes
