  1. Oh man, I miss the whole "click them a bunch" deals. Good ol' days with simple entertainment.
  2. Would you guys prefer a more serious mature tone? Or would you like humor? Personally, I love humor, it makes me love the characters. Alistair from Dragon Age, EVERYONE from Borderlands 2, Boo, and many more make me enjoy the characters. Now I know P:E won't be like Borderlands, but I would love those characters who make me laugh, and see the game from a sarcastic pricks side.
  3. I'm not sure if people are not quite understanding. I'm against the blatant Good vs. evil, I would rather just have choices, that are simply that. I couldn't think of any other way to name the polls though lol. I'm more saying, I don't want to be simply "Good".
  4. I don't mind if healing is as easy as most modern RPG's, however I don't want healing to be a chore. I really don't want to spend a decent amount of my game time avoiding confrontation because we are too hurt to fight.
  5. (I didn't see a topic like this, searched, surprisingly did not find one) I have always enjoyed the choices between good and evil. What I do personally to not like, is seeing how good or evil I am, I feel I have to pick certain choices just so I can be either truly good or evil. What I REALLY don't like, is when you get stats/abilities for being pure Good or Evil. I would love a game, where my choices are simply what I choose to do, and pros/cons straight come from choices, not what I choose on average. This would also make it interesting with how people react. Maybe one town hears of something you did good from a traveling person, but another town heard of a terrible deed you did. Maybe even get mixed reactions from another town. Its not like everyone will hear of what you did in some backwater village (Or believe).
  6. I have few villains that I love, both for very different reasons. Heavenly Sword - King Bohan: Magnificent character, borderline insane, power hungry, entertaining, ALIVE. Alive is the key here, his character was so flush with emotion and awesomeness. He seemed pretty evil, but not over the top. Harry Potter - Dolores Umbridge: Thi....this.....THING. As I write this, my eyes tear with RAGE. I..i.i.i.i.i.....can't express... my pure, unfaltering, unforgiving HATE for Dolores. When I watched her on the big screen, my blood turned into lava, I could feel it burning through my heart turning in black and charred. If I had a spoon, I would of dug it into your throat, and done everything I could to prevent her from saying one more word. She did such a great job at making me hate her, I respect the actor 10000x over. Now what you have to do, is make you hate the villain that much, but to be good, you have to save her ;-).
  7. I cannot vote. I want a loyalty system to an extent. I don't want party members to leave just because of how I act. However I would very much like missions where I may have to choose to kill them or not. I don't like choosing between people, cause a lot of the time I have to stick with the people I REALLY dislike simply because they are the only ones willing to deal with the actions I choose. So yes to how they react to me, no to them randomly getting up and leaving me.
  8. Seems I'm losing, but I love trading goods for goods. However it really only fits in certain settings (Fallout is perfect for this). I'm not sure what the setting is, but if it allows it, trading goods for goods is the way I'd like it.
  9. I'm waiting to find a game that DOESN'T have him. Don't ruin the last thing on my bucket list!
  10. I will say here.... I do not want this as a DLC, that would kill it for me entirely. The dungeon would no longer be a part of the world, it would be the focus of a small expansion, and the entire reason I got the DLC would be for the dungeon. I don't know why, but there is just something to randomly finding a dungeon in a world, that isn't the main focus of the world, and it ends up being on the best experienced. For example, my friends and I found a cave in Guild Wars 2, it was a platform puzzle with a small story behind it. No headlines about it, it was actually fairly hard to find (And yes, we did not know of it before we found it). It was one of the best experienced we had in the game, simply that it was there, so awesome, and we found it on our own.
  11. I'm going to disagree with most the people here. I can't justify saving the world, without being special in some way. Also, I do kind of like having that special move, that others can't do. Assuming in this one it might be stealing souls (Which would be sweet), you know either the hero or villain is going to be stealing souls! EDIT: I wanted to add, I do not like the chosen one theme. Not a fan of "You're the mussiah!". I prefer just having some special abilities that allow me to successfully finish the epic quest.
  12. A massive dungeon could go so many differnet ways. I mean you could start off in some crappy cave, then sooner or later turns into a crazy underground tunnel, and finally some Necromancers underground Keep of Deathly Apocalyptic Hello Kitty Doom. And bring teh story along with it the entire way.
  13. /waves Resurrection wand I want coop, saying it now. All the other games had it, I used it everytime. I would like it in the new one.
  14. I don't want the mega dungeon to be random. It loses....epicness in that part of it. I would love a giant story driven dungeon. One that the story kind of points you to maybe. All kinds of people talk about it. And when you go in, you find out it is a much larger feat than you initially realize. If they were to add it there would be some things I would think would have to be requirements.... -It must be unique, and epic, an ACTUAL DUNGEON CRAWL -Traps, possibly puzzles -An enthralling story, that keeps you guessing -Difficulty, large amounts. To the point, where you may just have to come back at another time, especially the end. -If you manage to beat it, the outside world should speak of the feat! -Possibly a companion that you get from the dungeon (Probably before the point of beating it) -Boo should be in it
  15. They do have a chance to keep memories of their past life.
  16. I approve of cannons in all forms, as they are awesome if animated/sounding right. Fortresses, ships, etc.
  17. I agree with you, it is probably the best choice. However, I love fortresses, and upgrading them. So keep your logic to yourself.
  18. When it comes to RPG's, I'm a huge fan of sandbox. And sandbox requires a ton of living aspects in the world. I'm hoping soon we can have a living world, entirely. I do not however, expect to see this as alive. However, I do wish it will be.
  19. I want a fortress for sure, full fledged. Small at first, large by the end. I also want to defend it in some epic siege.
  20. Quite a few people angry about the use of Unity. I'm no programmer, so I have no real opinion. I just hope you guys made the right choice, and make it BA, no matter how many might hate on your decision. NOTE: I hope the new Stretch Goal is Player Fortress, instead of "house".
