The OP is hoping for a way to mod the bar to make it more like the old one. Shortcuts are handy, but don't help you to remember you have a certain object equipped, where object icons do.

I understand that. Since they decided to hide the consumables in the action bar submenu I always forget to use them. The combat starts, and whoosh, everything about figurines, scrolls, potions disappears from my mind, or I remember too late to use them at full potential. So, you see, a shortcuts wouldn't help, while a visual reminder - like the object icons right in front of my eyes - would.

If you speak with Wenan again, can you see the line "2. About that invitation to the animancy hearings..." ? Should the line be gray click it anyway.

Double click a event line (not the support link) to open the event details. Those error messages sometimes can help. Not always.

In the performance monitor, on the left, right click the "maintenance" folder, it could be hidden there. Or you can try this: windows key + R (to open Run) perfmon /rel

They could be using existing characters as placeholders - to test new armors, animations, quest scripts... A part of me is "**** the endings, they are just potential futures, give me back my party" but I doubt it will happen.

Well, the game should run with just an intel graphic card - got a i5 myself - so it's not that alone. I thought it could be the switching between the cards, but I can't really say.

Can't say if it's important, but in your log the game starts with the Intel integrated graphic card, not the Radeon. Any energy saving profile active?

The flaming sword icon looks great and it's immediately recognizable as a flaming sword. Switching it for a generic icon doesn't make it more functional or better in any way.

If you want it DRM free you should go with GOG. It's on sale right now - the sale ending shortly - and by buying games you also get a few games for free. .
