  1. I'm probably going to mod Accuracy onto Perception instead of Deflection, and that will solve a lot of problems IMO.
  2. I already said why, it's the 3D characters. I'm not sure if it's just because they're poorly optimized or whatever but they're made up of lots of different 3D pieces rather than just a single piece. Unity's renderer gets hammered trying to render them and uses up all the CPU time.
  3. Quick switch changes it to 0.5 seconds and yep, it's great for gun builds.

  7. It's because of the 3D characters I think (which smash the renderer), I also have some performance issues on my i7 870. Try turning off anti-aliasing in the console ` msaa 0
  8. Not that I know of man. I only had this issue when exiting from a building in the beta, but I was able to correct it using either area transition or zoom. Does it still happen if you go inside the Ruins ?
  9. It has several UI features that changes things back to how they worked in the Infinity Engine games, but yes it's more than just an IE mod.
  10. When the IE mod comes out, you'll be able to wipe their progression and level them up.

The background blur bug could be related to this bug I reported in the beta: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/70954-480-background-sharpness-filter-bug/?hl=sharpness For character portraits - the game uses NGUI, so if you're using a resolution other than 1080p there's probably a chance it will down or upscale it horribly. Reported that issue in the beta too although don't think they are able to fix it.
  14. My RL friend Tim had this happen to him in his game. He's not sure why, but he said he cast Repulsing Seal with Durance in Combat, Kana got knocked prone and never got up.   16. I reported this in the last backer beta, for me It happens when I alt-tab on loading screens, alt-tab and don't click IN the game window, but on the border and sometimes when I load a save. Alt-tabbing in and out doesn't work for me - have to untick and re-tick the option.
  17. I have auto-attack disabled, and it's playing up - which it was not doing in v480 or the press version. My characters seem to be following the same rules as enemy AI. Even when they're not engaged, they automatically start attacking targets close to them, even when not attacked. If I try and run directly past an enemy, Calisca and my PC will both stop to attack that character. This is really annoying, I've already submitted heaps of reports about auto-attack and I can't imagine how it has regressed to this.

  18. Fists are considered Two Weapon Style. Fists are a fast weapon and have an attack animation time of 20 frames or 0.66 seconds followed by a 24 frame recovery - this is in no armor and with 10 dexterity. Dexterity will increase or decrease both your attack animation and lower or raise your recovery time. Two Weapon style will lower your base recovery by 20% Armor will slow you down, as will using a shield with a fist, or a talent that slows your attack speed down etc Covered under Dexterity in this video

  22. The Aedyr culture Resolve bonus is already applied at character creation. That's why it's +1 and -1. They never got around to changing it unfortunately. Edit: Looks like in the full game it pre-selects a culture for you, so the Rauatai CON bonus would already be applied. You'll know if it is if your max CON is 19.
  23. Press build was v495, although v508 doesn't seem right. I thought they would have done lots more builds than that.
