  1. There's no level cap adjustment, the cap in the full game is 12. I think the frames are the same? Bester would know
  2. Slash damage sucks against lots of armor types. I made a guide here
  3. Bit of a guide for people who find this a bit tough I have a Rogue with 13 Deflection, so even if you've got crap defense, it can be done.
  4. Recovery time is additive and they all use the value modified by the global recovery mult. Recovery time is also slowed while moving by 50% (which is dumb, our mod removes it)
  5. Fast weapons have an animation time of 20 frames Everything else is 30 frames There is a global recovery time multiplier of 1.2 default attack speed for 1H fast weapon is 20 frame animation, 36 frame recovery (50% slower due to 1H style or using a shield) default attack speed for 1H average weapon or 2H weapon is 30 frame animation, 54 frame recovery (50% slower due to 1H style, 2H style or using a shield) default attack speed for 2W fast weapons is 20 frame animation + 24 frame recovery + 20 frame animation + 24 frame recovery default attack speed for 2W average weapons is 30 frame animation + 36 frame recovery + 30 frame animation + 36 frame recovery Dexterity affects both animation speed and recovery time Everything else only affects recovery time If you record a 30 FPS video of yourself making an attack unarmored and do a frame by frame - you'll be able to reproduce these exact times. I can't quote the source because it's from the paywalled Something Awful forums (Josh Sawyer, lead designer).
  6. The feature where you wipe a character progression is considered 'experimental' - so there may be problems with using it. The iroll20s thing is fixed for the next version
  7. I spoke to their optimization programmer about the slowdowns with lots of characters on the screen, he said that the renderer is what was using up all of the CPU time when they were running the Unity Performance Profiler and that there's not much they could do about it at this point. Unity games can run well. I get solid frame rates in Wasteland 2 and Shadowrun Returns for instance.
  8. This information is incorrect. I cover his errors in the beginning of this video.
  9. It's not the engine, it's just the way they made the characters (or the way they're rendering them). Hopefully they optimize it post-release.
  10. You can't loot bodies on the ground anymore - we removed it because it doesn't work very well - you accidentally click on bodies ALL the time in combat (trust me, it was really annoying). You will be able to loot chests and move items around in your inventory, but not armor.
  11. It works for me. I logged into my account and downloaded it. Here's an alternate link: http://www.upload.ee/files/4596789/iemod-1.0.2.0508-windows-1-4-4.zip.html
  12. When you are aiming the spell and you are too far away and have to move to cast it, a feet icon will be added to the casting cursor.
  13. This is the dual wield DPS monk, not the Tank monk.
  14. It doesn't add 10 focus to your starting focus, only to your maximum focus (yes that sucks) but currently it's working as intended - it's just a bad talent.
  15. I don't really care about what happens when auto-attack is on, but disable auto-attack isn't working properly either: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/72092-players-ignoring-commands-when-attacked-due-to-auto-attack-settings/?do=findComment&comment=1601807
  16. Apparently over-nerfing stuff for release is better because then people don't get mad that their favorite stuff gets nerfed in the full game, and are more receptible to stuff being buffed. There's a bunch of things that have been nerfed into the sh1t tier.
  17. You can't. My game lags in some areas too and I have an Intel i7 870, 16GB of RAM and a 3GB HD7970. Obsidian probably need to optimize the characters a bit better, but I am also upgrading because I hate bad frame rates.
