  1. I don't think it works like that, there must be some other trigger. Either way, none of my companions have inflated stats and I hate double click to equip anyway and thus never do it, so I still have all of my passives. My Rogue has Reckless Assault on permanently though but oh well. I think mine is definitely on Hard because I'm up to the Dyrford now, and the encounters there are the same as Hard in the beta. I've also seen lots of other 'hard' creatures and really big groups of stuff.
  2. I don't have that bug currently, I know what causes it so I've avoided it.
  3. Not sure what that is, it's outside the map itself, but showing on the map screen. Probably similar to other areas which have lines down the side of the map.
  4. You are given quite a few items through dialogue in this game, but it can be hard to tell which item it was because you're never notified. There is no line that says that you are given an item, like there was in the IE games "party has gained an item" / "party has lost an item" What I would recommend doing is using the same line that is pasted in for the "additem" command, so that you know what the item was that you were given / which item was taken away.
  5. After I do a few map transitions, my frame rate takes a huge dump - down to about 30-40 in every area. Have to exit the game, then restart to fix it. Anyone else having that issue?
  6. You can also cast Withdraw on a character in a doorway. I'm not doing that one though, discovered it in the beta, decided to avoid. Not really necessary because nothing gets through Eder anyway. I'm also not really using buffs, or wizard self-buffs - completely pointless, except for maybe Blessing. I just have Durance cast debuff and damage spells.
  7. well Eder has like 120 Deflection and 20 DR vs several damage types, so not many enemie can hit him or damage him really. I don't send my other characters forward very much because recently they've coded the AI to change targets to the one that has the lowest Deflection, so I don't send anyone forward unless I need to, because then they'll take aggro off Eder. Ranged characters also seem to target ranged party members as well, so I sit them right back to avoid aggro. They've made the game soooo polarized between tanks having bad damage but being really good at tanking and DPS characters doing a lot of damage but dying instantly that doing anything in between is pretty much a bad idea.
  8. I still use my abilities, because I like to but I probably don't need to. I'm in Act 2 now and I have not had to change weapons, strategies or anything for a long time. I'm not even using exploits (of which, there are many). I also found it hilarious that Od Nua Level 5 was way easier than Level 3.
  9. There seems to be this point during Act 1 where things just become a breeze except for the odd fight or two. Nothing can hit Eder at the moment.
  10. There's a pathfinding bug that causes characters to stand and do nothing, that isn't auto attack related.
  11. Expected Result: they should drop their weapon sets and armor, and whatever else they have equipped. One of them was in Plate armor - didn't drop it.
  12. There is nothing wrong with Might, Dexterity or Intellect. Perception probably needs Accuracy instead of Deflection. Resolve could give +2 Deflection instead of +1, maybe. Constitution needs a complete rework. Interrupt and Concentration integers could be slightly increased.
  13. Maerwald is wearing a Robe and carrying a Wand, among other things. He drops his Grimoire and some cp - and that's it. Expected Result: He drops all of his gear.
  14. The attributes were better before accuracy was removed. Now it basically just ends up being Tank: RES/PER/CON DPS: MIG/DEX/INT Caster: INT/MIG/DEX boring.
  15. I haven't found shadows a problem. Their AI is really dumb and they will always go for Aloth no matter what, so I just sit my Rogue right next to him to Blinding Strike them as soon as they appear. -29 Deflection or whatever, see ya later. Shades have defenses in the 60s and ~15 DR though. Very difficult to take down with 3 level 3 characters with 20-38 Accuracy.
  16. The thing that hurts in those Shade battles in that south west room is the respawning shadows that jump behind you as well. I thought I'd nearly won it with 3 characters on hard and then the shadows respawned.
  17. For the record - even though Shadows etc do have a teleport ability, there is actually a bug with them causing them to teleport to your units (I think it's a pathfinding bug) - you can tell because they don't play the short animation when they teleport and land.
  18. I'd just like to say "I told you so" regarding Perception and Resolve to anyone involved in making these attributes reading this.
  19. Sabres are good weapons, just FYI. Rapid Recovery is god awful though. I'd prefer if they swapped them so I could get Eder without Rapid Recovery xD
  20. ^ Same experience for me, combat is really fast on hard with an optimally built PC.
  21. Currently there's not a current mod for unlimited camping supplies. It can be made pretty easily although the console command does the job anyway.
