Were you dropped on your head, repeatedly at that, as a child? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Whats not to like about them <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Gungans are the best that is for target practice. twi'lek is the hottest when no Zeltron is around. Jawas as the funniest to bully. And I would love to let any wookie win any time in any game......(can I keep my arms now?)

Ah, then it is stun or fear that like best to limit number to fight. How silly things can get when you have a hangover on first day of the year.

Eh, another problem with this quest that I have always had: I do get Motta to agree to give fuel, but he tells me to go talk to the officer on Telos station. When I do that I have no option to tell about the fuel Motta is willing to sell at a fair price. This of course has made me unable to ever finish this quest, and they always complain about the fuel when I am there last time.......

Easiest way to defeat her is not level her untill after that fight. Won every one of those fight easy. "

LOL, missed that I only needed to shut down the terminals. Thought to open all secured doors, which I could not without the code. " Thanks for the help.
-
I decided to play as darkside as change from the usual lightside that I have playd, and untill I was in royal palace everything worked quite right. I dont seam to be able to get the access codes for the terminal that I recieved from a prisoner when I did it lightside. Ran around checking every container and terminal (and the terminals appear to think that the hacker is still on despite having despatched him) as well as talked to every NPC that is willing to talk to me without any found code. Anyone else that has had this problem and is willing to help with a solution (have loaded an earlier game save already and the same problem appears).

If you could have added one feature to KOTOR2.....
Spook replied to Topaz Quasar's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
If I would add anything it would be a good ending of the game...... -
Still no broken and unfinished option, so I cant vote at the moment. " As it is, with all cut content/ending, I must say KotOR1 was better. Kotor2 had potential to be better then KotOR1, but all the obvious cut material ruined the enjoyment of the game.

Since I accidently leveled to lvl 16 councilor before becoming weaponmaster I think it is at least lvl 15.
-
That you like to see booty sway from side to side? " Well you could tell yourself that if game-engine allowed it at least.

Did You Agree With The Influence On The Crew?
Spook replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The system with influence was a good idea that did not work as well as it could have. Since NPC did not change what inflenced them and conversation lines when they changed DS/LS it felt way to artifical. As it was I would have been just as happy with the system in KotOR1. Just wish they had been given more time to finish this game. -
Finished TSL a few days ago as LS Jedi, and I have to agree that it left you wanting for something that was not there. 1) Manual did not describe classes (with auto leveling xboxers that probably is not a problem, but for those PC RPG players that want to put together character it is a bother to have no idea what the classes do). 2) A lot of things in game screamed of broken/removed quests (don't know which since you only get an indication that something is missing). 3) The influence system for NPC really sucked since it did not change when the character changed to LS/DS. It was not all that fun either. Probably would have been more interesting if you gained/lost influence on NPCs by doing quests (quest A give influence on NPC a&b while make you lose some on NPC c), with some options in conversation tree will effect it as well. 4) Darth Nihilus was just a big yawn since I never got any feeling for him. They realy should have added a small planet where you could do a few quests and find a small surviving Jedi enclave, so Nihilus could come and kill them all in a cutscene. Then he should kill a few NPCs, that you helped, as you travel. The ship also needed to be more interesting, when you are there, then it was. It did have great potential though. <_< Scion was rather nice. Though they should have made the place on Malichai more interesting then a hack&slash run. Probably would have beeen nice to have Mira defeat Goto and free the small remote (which means that she probably should have awakened somewhere else, and make her way to where it is after defeating the wookie), and if there was some people that you could convince to tell you some of Scion's weaknesses that you would have to use to defeatr him. 5) The encounter at Dantoine with the remains of the Jedi counsile should have been handeled differently I think. It did not get me into the story as it was done. 6) Graphic was worse on my PC then KotOR. I had hoped for more choices in appearance (3 body types not tied to class, would have been nice, with a lot more faces). It is strange when the graphic in a sequel is worse then the original. 7)As a lot of people have posted the repeating trees was anoying. But in all I think I have played worse games, though I was usualy not as dissapointed by them since I had less hope of them to begine with. I guess one can always hope for a patch to fix some of the problem, even if we never will se one that makes the game as enjoyable as it had potential to have been.

I think that the big problem for PS:T was that you had to play a ugly scared fellow that frightened away all people with his face on the cover before they even tried to play the game. Any new PS-game should allow a free character creation, and should not be a sequell but a new story with Sigil as base. I really would want to see that.

How many devs still working on the pc version?
Spook replied to Demigod's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Woot! A developer have come to visit us. (w00t) That said, any chance problems in bet.......I mean xbox version will be fixed untill we get it to PC? " Any hopes that we can get additional content like in KotOR 1, even if it only was a spacestation there? Oh, and please come back and visit PC Version-KotOR2 any time. -
LOL! :D Try hold that bloody cat in your lap next time you use an autopatcher, or send it away on a little trip far far away.
-
You'll get better graphics but you still have most of the bugs if not more but they'll be fixed in a patch soon enough. Nothing extra, Chris has already said by the end of development the two versions will be the same. Also there is like 5 people finishibg the PC version. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think they said it will be amost the same, whatever that means.....
-
What is to be expected from a Bet....I mean xbox version of the game.
-
That is because the companies that produce PC games know they can patch later. They therefore releases the game before it is entirely finished, with intention of making the patch while the game is made and delivered. But in the end if the finish the game with patches thet handle all bugs PC-version will be more stable (though in some unfortunaly sad cases they never finish the game properly, which was the sad case for the exilent FO2 that necer was finished properly). But at least PC games CAN be fixed later...................... "

The amount of mermory usualy helps out if you have a bad video card, though frquency usualy only is limiting if you are on the low end of what cab run the game. But if your processor is a Celerion or similar lowbudget you should probably consider the low end for frequency to be a lot higher then stated. Incompabilites between components is usualy a lesser problem if you use the big brands. The freeze/crash/restart is rather the incompability between drives for the components, and that the game developers hardly can make the game adaptable for all those nutty combinations. So do try not to mix component from different producers to much, even if you save a few bucks.

Lets hope so, since it was not fun at all first time.
-
Woot, that means that Int will give a bit more this time. (w00t)

I'am quite sure that persuasion was class skill for Jedi in KotOR 1 as well, even though you would have to spend all your skill points on it if you didn't start as scoundrel to get it up enough. <_<
-
There should definitly be normal patches avilable as well. It is a bother when they take down autopatching of an old game and you want to play it again out of nostagia. At least not all my old games used autopatching, so I have the patches saved on a CD.
-
I just wish people would stop saying it didn't work or worked on their PC. A PC can be very different, so people should at least tell what processor, the amount/type of RAM and what graphic card they use. It did work perfectly (almost, since I had just like everybody else the known bugs ) on a Athlon 1800+ with 1G SDRAM and a GFORCE4 MX440.

lol you can look like Leia in jabba palace!!
Spook replied to BastilaShan's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
A pet Kath hound is probably a lot easier on the guest though. Who knows how many guest a Rancore would have chowed down by the time you get it to understand that it is not allowed to do that.
