  1. Another thing that I think they have done a bit wrong in both games: As DS you are supposed to be strong alone and forsake others for power, but as LS you are supposed to use the bond with others to make your all stronger. In short the end fight as DS should be you agains the big boss alone while as LS you should have it with companions. This of course would need some balancing, but the darkside power of forcecrush, forcestorm and deathfield make you strong enough alone anyway. The fight with Sion when I was DS was dissapointingy easy. Forcecrushed him into oblivion untill he gave up and admitted defeat. he never got close to me. As LS it was at least a bit of a fight.
  2. That just shows how silly I was playing LS and having force resistance up all the times in the fights at the end. I was supprised that they used so little force powers at the end. In KotOR1 the did use their powers at least at the starforge. <_< Guess that they with the forced early release did not have time to have proper combat AI for the opponents in most fights.
  3. Forcestorm is wonderfull to get rid of large number of opponents. I killed everything fast with it at the end of the game in the sith base. When you have three Jedi with it it becomes frightining powerfull. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> wow that took a lot of skill to figure out " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just wanted to point it out since some obviously couldn't figure that out when they said forcestorm was underpowered. Any more powerful and you would not need any companions at all in the game.
  4. SWG was made into Everquest2 in space. Sucks big time after the combat rewamp.

  6. Ain't those memory losses old by now. Maybe his main processor was replaced with a mousdroids and he just have a hard time explaining anything, now that would be better.
  7. what does this have to do with kotor 3 other than hk47? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> One can always hope he was just a hologram in a museum showing the greatest assissin droid ever. And it doesn't have anything to do with KotOR3, which I noticed being on side 38 in my reading through seam to be a common thread with many posts.
  8. ALL THROUGH KOTOR II HK47 YELLS ABOUT THE HK50 SERIES. HE ALL OUT REFUSES TO MAKE COPIES OF HIMSELF BECAUSE HE WANTS TO BE UNIQUE! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Have to agree, there is no way HK-47 would make copies of himself. It would wound his ego that he would not be the only and best asassin droid out there. He would probably start a war against himself if he copied himself.
  9. Happy that you find it interesting.
  10. If Revan gathered some forces it would make sense that he gathered the forces he trusts, like his former companions. Okay, maybe I get a little bit ahead of things but I guess it's not the thing people are going to look for. Find Revan and the Exile with an army of soldiers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Revan was worried about a threat that he would need the republic forces for, but I don't think he would be willing to place all his eggs in the one basked, so he probably started to make forces already with the Starforge and make alliances/conquered worlds outside the republic to be sure. When he came back and started to lead those forces toward the enemy they were made to defeat I don't think people cared that much that he had changed clothing style (gone LS and skipped the black outfit). He did place his former companions to strengthen the republic in case he failed, which also shows that he was a strategic that wanted to make continuency plans, and he would be in need of more forces. That was nothing he was willing to trust to chance and weak politicians, so he left his companions to that task. He might even have predicted that the exile would be reached, and therefore hoped that the exile would take control of those forces for him in case he failed. That the exile would come with the mandalorians would boster his forces and he might think that together with his own they would make it and defeat the true sith lords.
  11. I know that Revan went there alone, but who is not to say that Revan already had gathered some forces before he lost memory in KotOR1. Exile could also come with the gathered Mandalorians as reinforcement to those.
  12. I don't mind having Ebon Hawk along again, but it should be customizable. Think it should be like it was in one of those M&M games where depending on who you helped your castle got additions and different look, but it would be the ship that changed appearance and abilities. The quaters should also change depending on who lived in them, thats a good idea. Can imagine that Attons quaters would have been a bit messy if we had that in KotOR2. I think it was because of the exiles unique forcebond power that the exile could teach someone into Jedi so fast. Normaly it probably takes years....
  13. The nice part with droids is that it just take a memorywipe and they are lvl 1 again, so they are always easy to have along and level up all again. Think HK47 need some more witty replies in KotOR3 though. He seamed a bit rusty at being properly sarcastic and viscious like he was in KotOR1.
  14. That's why they should be killed of so it doesn't matter much anymore..... Beside we might just want an end, that never was delivered properly in KotOR2, so they can start make another KotOR game that is entirely sepperated from the earlier ones in another timeperiod. One should never stop a serie with a cliffhanger, ask any Farscape fan.
  15. Maybe thay could add some witty dialog between them in the beginning then.
  16. what do you mean funny? If they both went LS and went after the true Sith it seams somewhat logic that they would team up.
  17. So do you people have any other comments about my idea beside my misspellings?
  18. See I am doing it too now.
  19. People is darn fast with posting oneline poste in this thread, no wonder it has som many sides already.
  20. Revan....so sue me.
  21. Oh bother, noticed that this last thread was 46 sides long. Dont realy have time to read it all though right now. Idea for KotOR3: First make it cannon that both Raven and exile went LS and joined up to fight the true Sith to make things easier. Then we let the game begin with that Raven tells one of Exils new students that shows great promis to board his ship with his two droids and wait for further instructions while he and the exile leads his forces into battle with the true Sith. Followed by a cutscene with a great battle where Ravens forces bearly breakes through the Sith forces with great losses. New cutscene where Raven and Exile cut through the Sith forces in lightsabre combat while using powerfull Force powers untill they meet up with the new badass bosses that defeat them, and with their last strenght Raven and Exile deliver a message to the student. To defeat the Sithlord will take a force focuspoint that Raven heard of in some of the old teaching but never had time to find before the new war with the Sith, and order the student to find one of these. And then endowns him with some force strength to help him (exiles forcebond allowed this and gives that extra bonus that the main character has had in both earlier games). The student now has to choose if he want to follow the lead to a darkside or lightside force focuspoint. Unlike Raven the student now has some time to track down one of these while Sith gather their forces after the battle with Raven. At first planet he goes to his ship is shot down by pirates and both droids are severly damaged and have to be repaired (hence no highlevel droids when repaired since most memory modules was destroyed). He now starts on a planet forced to find a way to repair the droids and his ship. Game starts....
  22. Ah, that explains Malicore..... "
  23. KotOR was finished and had a feeling through the ENTIRE game that it was an epic adventure and that it was well thought and planned in story and actions. It had a good ending no matter if you were lightsider or darksider, that made you feel you had made a differance in the game. KotOR2 on the other hand only seamed so in the beginning, and it feels like a huge amount had been cut (doors that could not be opened, references to places, broken quests etc) and that the end of the game was never finished. No grand ending in this game to make you think you actualy accomplished anything worthwhile in the game. I had a strong feeling that we should have had movies that showed the things that Kreia told us about in the end, but they never had time to make them, and Kreias speach was just made as an afterthought.
  24. Bastila was hiding in the one place where backstabbing and hatred made her shining bacone of Jedi'ness dimm, the one plce even more vicious and dangerous the Nad-shadar........ She was in the senate with all those slime politician, the one place not even the Sith would go before they were ready to wipe out the planet.
