Who would you rather have killed?

Bao-Dur hard to make a Jedi......you got to be kidding me. He was among the easiest to make a Jedi. -
At what point did Revan turn to the DS?
Spook replied to Darth Sun_Tzu's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I think we have to be a bit sceptical about what was said in K2 about Revan might not been evil. Kreia was a bit partial in this having lead Sith taught Jedi herself. I dubt that all evil see themself as evil. More probably they just see themself as realists and the others as naive. " -
First, play the exile. In the Unknown regions are no food stores so Exile gets hungry. Revan finds his food by eating Kathhounds, True Sith flesh etc. Exile finds Revan but is very hungry, manage to say: Ffffffooooooooodddddddddd!. Revan kills Exile and becomes the new player character. Would take about Ten years to finish the game. Uhmm, 99999999999 Gb of Hard disk space. A Pentium 1000 processor with 99999999999 GHz speed etc. etc. etc. for a 3000 year galactic war. Well, it was your first post, and forgive me, hopefully your dumbest post. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or it would be: StarWars civilization, The Sit War and the Restoration. Avilable and able to run on any avilable Pentium 4 computer.

I fully understand that writing/reading something in a language that is not the native one can make misunderstanding quite possible. After all english is not my native language either.

The sidekicks that do everything wrong was the one I always found most anoying. <_< But it gives you reason to mess up everyones else gameplay.

I don't think we need more alignment in KotOR. KotOR is based on StarWars and the simplistic view od good and evil. That is a bit of the charm of SW, how clearcut everything is. You are either good, evil, or have not desided what side to join. There is no subcategories of evil, once you are evil you are simply evil. The Law/Chaos fits more into the Elric saga of fantacy where that is the main fight. Good and evil there have no consequence since they are morality of the living while the Powers to Be there is either order or chaos. You have the creativity and entropy of chaos vs. the stability and stagnation of order, and normal life only fits in somewhere in between. No, law (order) and anarchy (chaos) is a setting that has no real place in SW. <_<

I usualy end up LS first time I play without thinking about it. Later I try to get DS, but it takes more effort to become DS for me at least. Beside DS is usually a bit childish evil. You seldom have a good way to play evil except as a massmurdering lunetic with brain of a week old tuna sandwitch. Well some choices in the game was actualy the Sith evil that I think of as a DS Sithlord would act, but they are far apart.
-
Just to save time they could just let Ebon Hawk be fixed up by whatever side you ally with, so if you go LS and ally with a nice group you end up with a silver and white/blue ship but if you as DS ally with the Sith you have a red and black ship. The appearance of the Droids could be changed the same way. As for the droids there should be the option to reprogram them to change evil/good of the droid. And the droid should then act with the new settings (should only be three settings: LS/DS/Neutral).

She was in need of that before she fell to the dark side, so it would have been about time to get it.
-
Never underestemate the amount of time that might be needed due to bugs that appear when you change something in a program. But it might have been really nice if they would have had the 3 extra month.....

Not quite sure I understand what you mean there, but what I ment was that you could get a limited exp for each ship you shoot down. The amount is dependent on the amount of punishment the ship can take before it brakes up. Personaly I would have prefered that the space combat was more like the rest of the game where you pick out your target and abilities of character determine if you hit and what damage you do, but I guess my opinion in that department don't count for much.
-
I agree, for such a feat to be interesting there need to be more spacefighting and more interesting ships. The ability to upgrade the ships would make that more interesting as well. There should of course always be the option for those that don't like mini games to avoid that. But if you gained experience from space combat more might want to do that.
-
I think you misunderstan what I ment to say. I ment that there should be a feat that make you better at using starships, not like in the PnP game many feats. There should also be better feats for this that you could take later on, like most improved/master feats. I did not imply that we should have all those different feats that are in the PnP game for subcategories.

Sight, would have been nice to see the originaly planed end, instead of the cut, mangeled and stoped end that we had.

That's of course if you set Revan as a light sider. If you set Revan as a dark sider then Master Vandar dies in the explosion of Admiral Dodonna's Republic Battleship. And I have a question, if you set Revan as a dark sider, then does that change how Zhar and Dorak died or not? Of course I mean I set Revan as a DS Male and I went a DS Male in KOTOR II but I never talked to Vrook about these things, I just killed him! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you are to play a proper DS Jedi you should first taunt and rant before you kill of the whining old Jedi. You get much more satisfaction as well as information from that..........

Seams I was not the only one thinking Goto needed a memory whipe or a proper demolishin treatment. -
I think you should say that master Vandar was presumed killed on the Miraluka homeworld. He might, like some other Jedi not to be mentioned, been offworld when it happened. As for Bastila she might have been told by someone to stay away from that wolrd, who knows maybe by Master Vandar. "

In PnP game pilot is actualy a skill, and you can get feats that let you use certain type of ships without negative bonus. Guess you could have Starship Pilot feat that do that, Improved starship Pilot that give a bonus with skills on starships and Master Starship Pilot that give an even better bonus on starships. It could be an accury bonus that makes you not have to be as dead on target to hit in mini games.

Personaly I like it that they condensed down the skills a bit. It makes the game less number crunshing, then when you have way to many skill and have to sit and balance them against each other for a long time at each lvl, when you are to place out skills. Bluff/diplomacy/intimidate is under persuasion in KotOR They could add in a few more skills though: Athletics=swim/climb/tumble/jump Pilot=pilot/astrogate Streetwise=Appraise/gather information/streetwise survival=handle animals/ride/survival Slight of hand should probably be under stealth though <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hey but appraise can come in handy with all the junk you get out the lockers and all <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was my intention that it should be something that could be handy. So stretwise would get you a better price for stuff you find, as well as some dialog that involves the criminal world as well as access to a few fencers to buy things from. Athletic would allow us to use some roats for travel that those with low athletic can't use (don't you find it anoying that you can't walk over a few stones in the game ). Pilot would allow us to get to some places without getting spacecharts from someone first, as well as making us get hit less often in eventual spacefight. Survival could allow us to use some mounts, calm some animals and track. Maybe it could also make us better at handle some climat problems that would hurt someone without the skill.
-
The ability to use lie option was definitly something we could have used a bit more in KotOR2, I hope anyone that do KotOR3 incorperate that so that playing DS becomes more devious evil and less comic evil.

Flurry x3(or x4), repeat as opposed to "force crush" x2? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Twice the time at least, and he could do something beside just hang in the air being crushed.
