  1. I've spent about 500 hours on one of my WoW characters. Rather sad, really. That said, you'd have to be a masochist to spend close to 200 hours on K2. What's that, 10 full playthroughs? Blah.
  2. WoW. Goddamnit.
  3. Why is it that in each and every thread that's even remotely close to the subject of MMORPGs, we have the same people stating the same tired opinions, over and over again. I fail to see the point of this. Visc hates MMORPGs? Gabrielle doesn't want to "pay to play"? Darque played SW:G and loathed it? Woah, what a suprise! Jesus christ.
  4. Seeing as pally was referring to the funky "Spirit of the wolf type" travel powers, I think the more correct travel form would be, wait for it... ghost wolf. Which is a shaman power. It depends on the class. Travel forms all have complications that prevent you from using them for kiting (and the hunter aspect can at least be used to kite reasonably well in some specific situations- the others are for running away or fast travel). Hunters still have concussion shot. frost mages still have a slow/freeze (and sometimes both!) effect on every offensive cast, shamans still have frost shock. Kiting is certainly important to those classes (well, maybe not the shaman but still).
  5. A/S/L??? Yes, I know it's going to be cartoony-sweet with sugar on top. I have played most of the Harvest Moon games at some point, after all. However, any sort of cyber is still too much cyber, though. I have this feeling Natsume is giving the monkey the key to... well, somewhere monkeys aren't supposed to be.
  6. Werecats!
  7. I thought Pally worked in the housing business. Also, I believe his family is (relatively) stinkin' rich. Could be wrong, though. That said, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is pretty rad, even though I, being the amoral bastard that I am, hardly paid for the pleasure of playing it. Far too short, though.
  8. Farming, yes, that could perhaps work. Most MMORPGs today consist of 'farming' in some shape or form, anyway. That said, what the hell. Be-friend and "be-bed"? Even though the idea will probably never fly, it'd be fun if it did. I mean, the sort of corny pickup-lines you'd get could make awesome Weekend-web material.
  9. Does it have multiplayer? Can you actually save your games in said multiplayer?
  10. I wasn't planning on buying the 360 in the near future anyway, and this does not exactly make me want to reconsider that decision. Hopefully the revolution or the PS3 will have a little bit more "ooomph" on release day. Fingers crossed.
  11. Yes. I still remember them giving FF6 a 10/10 and Operation Flashpoint something stupid like 6/10. Well, having pixels usually adds about two points to the score in the case of SuperPlay, anyway. Never really liked that magazine.
  12. Not the priorities I'd have if it was me. Ah well, each to their own.
  13. Fallout was pretty decent.
  14. Sweden is overrated.
  15. System Shock 2 DURRRR.
  16. I'm gonna go to the grocery store for some World of Bananacraft now, methinks.
  17. Got nothing against the genre as such. Chrono Trigger remains one of my favourite games, and while I've never really gotten into the FF series (apart from V/VI)- I tend to pick up a title I see as interesting (provided I've got the time/money to spare). Just finished Riviera: The Promised Land a while ago. Cuteness
  18. Heh. I remember when I mailed someone here at Obsidian (can't even remember the name any more) and asked if they had any plans to put this board up. Oh, and I remember when the WoT here was more Mistress' Lair than anything else.
  19. My rig handled HL2 and Doom3 without problems, so I suppose it'll survive Q4. Interesting. Might, uh, "buy" it if I have the chance.
  20. OH SNAP. Gotta get that show somehow.
  21. Oh, pally. Been a while. How are things going?
